Seeing reinforcements quickly approaching, the arrogant leader of this small band of street toughs loses his temper and attempts to wrestle Ronk to the ground:
Despite his towering height, the bugbear has an amazingly low center-of-gravity and the thug's attempt to pull him off balance looked more like he was trying to hump Ronk's leg instead.
Having handed Ronk and Rigel a thorough beating, the thug with the eye-patch turns hisattention to Garet - the animal sympathizer who "started it" in the first place.
EYE-PATCH:
Shortsword: 17 vs. AC 18 (Garet), dealing 3 on a hit.
Shortsword: 21 vs. AC 18 (Garet), dealing 3 on a hit.
The other thug with the foulest breath and nastiest teeth you have ever seen, pulls back and moves around the building to try to catch Rigel when he's not looking:
GREEN-TEETH: moves around the corner of the barn (to the left of the melee) and takes the hide action - 8

As the scene grows increasingly clearer to the young ex-farmhand, his grows wide in worry. And yet, as he focuses on Garet for a moment, he remembers the Firbolg's bravery and steadfast defense of the goblins back in the cave, and knew then and there that he could be no less than so in this moment! He knew this strange, blue-skinned ally of his must live to see another day, so that others may draw inspiration from such a soul.
And so, Marcon continued to sprint into a flying forward somersault, overclocking the momentum to release both axes as he opens back up. His landing is fairly shaky. But his aim...
Ronk blinks in surprise as he's... Hugged? by the thug. He recoils a bit, then places his hands firmly on the man's shoulders and shoves him away. "Get off me!"
Ronk's shove attempt on Loud Mouth: 13
Regardless of the success in this shove, the bugbear releases his shoulders and claps his fists against the man's ears.
Unarmed Strike on Loud Mouth: 24 [s]11[/s] Damage on hit: 6
Edited to replace normal attack roll with an advantaged one

The thug tries to slip by Ronk's attempt to demonstrate what a proper shove looks like: 20 vs. AC 23. While he uses his best nimble tactics to avoid the maneuver, Ronk's reach and strength overpower the rogue's escape attempt and the Redbrand slams into the ground.
"Hey! Come back you big blue doofus!" says the eye-patched ruffian. The mouthy one suddenly is taking the scuffle a little more serious and scrambles away from Ronk.
(OOC: LoudMouth takes the disengage action and moves away from Ronk 15 feet, then uses the rest of his movement to stand up.)

With LoudMouth falling back, reinforcements approaching and a suddenly invisible firbolg somewhere in the vicinity, EyePatch loses his nerve to press the initiative on his own and instead bolts across the road and out of view behind the shed to the south. (OOC: EyePatch takes the hide action: 7)
GreenTeeth chuckles as Vanzaren's dagger thunks into the wood at the corner of the shed near his face. "Some circus performer you are...more like circusfreak!" he goads as he runs towards the wizard swinging his blade wildly back and forth, more for show than in any sort of realistic offensive maneuver.
Multi-attack #1 - Shortsword: 7 vs. AC 15 (Vanzaren), dealing 4 piercing damage on a hit.
Multi-attack #2 - Shortsword: Unable to parse dice roll. vs. AC 15 (Vanzaren), dealing 9 piercing damage on a hit.
(OOC: Vanzaren casts shield adding +5 to his 15 AC, for a total of 20 AC until the start of his next turn, causing both above attacks to miss.)
Marcon almost hesitates; but, seeing two of the punks flee, and fearing the worst, the man redoubled his efforts to catch up at least to the one still on the road. "Yer not gonna get away wit' dis, ya punk! Not on my watch!"He barks out as the distance shrinks to only a few feet. Then as he practically slid into place to block off Loud Mouth's immediate escape path, out comes the spear. "Now I ain't gonna tell ya twice, man! Ya best drop all you got and get on the ground fer I stick this thing here some place unpleasant."He demands, burying his nervousness behind bravado.

Ronk grumbles a bit, looking like he wants to finish the one Marcon has at spearpoint off himself. Instead, he takes off after the one in the eye patch. He catches up with the thug and thrusts his sword at the man's gut, then following through with a headbutt.
Action: Shortsword attack on Eye Patch: 12 Damage on hit: 6
Bonus Action: Unarmed Strike on Eye Patch: 14 Damage on hit: 6
The last thing to go through the ruffian's head was...Ronk's head. The bugbear's skull is nearly three times the thickness of the man's and the grisly spectacle of Ronk slamming his goblinoid cranium into the thug's frontal lobe conjures up images of an finch's egg being struck with a ball-peen hammer. The thug's blade instantly drops to ground, followed shortly by a bloody heap with a disfigured arrangement of hair, teeth and cartilage in the location previously occupied by a head with a face. (OOC: for the sake of making it official, the DM can confirm that EyePatch is thoroughly deceased.)
Seeing this, LoudMouth begins to look for a way out..."Our fight's not with you boy," he says to Marcon who has suddenly appeared next to him with spear in hand. "That bugbear kicked my dog! We're just tryin' to settle things like men...why don't ya run along, huh?" The ruffian is wheezing and bloody, but still maintains a firm grasp on his shortsword.

Vazaren traces the shape of a shield in the air as Greenteeth tries to hit him. "You see," he says, as the blows land on the shield and not him. "That's not the only trick up my sleeve."
Reaction: Cast Shield to add +5 ac for those 2 attacks
Holding up his hand again like he's about to throw invisible knifes. "Can you catch these for me?" He asks, flicking his wrist as all three Magic Missile at GreenTeeth.
Vanzaren's invisible shield flashes briefly as the thug's theatrical sword thrusts strike it and not him. Dumbstruck, the man look's down at the wizard's hand just in time to catch a glimpse of the three motes of force before they are projected into his face. As each arcane dagger lands, the outline of the thug's cranial and spinal bone structure can be seen within his body. He is already dead when the third one finds its mark, blasting the foul-breathed attacker off his feet. As the body come to rest on the ground a few feet away, dark ash falls away revealing a blackened skull, with exception of a few craggily green teeth.
"Alright! Alright! I yield..." The thug throws down his sword and falls to the ground clutching several deep wounds.
Just then, the small dog whose injury had sparked this battle in the first place limps out from around the corner of a building. Seeing the Redbrand, the pup bears his teeth and growls, but then winces at the pain in its ribs...deciding to steer clear of the man the dog walks up the lane stopping to inspect Garet with a sniff. His tucked tail gives a slight wag as if to indicate he had judged Garet as a friend. The dog sits next to the firbolg and tries to scratch, but it struggles to do so without obvious discomfort.
Vanzaren spots Spit and Stopit on the lawn to the south engaged in a vivid recreation of the battle complete with "air" swords and "make believe" magic missiles. Together they announce "I yield! I yield!" and then burst into laughter as they point mockingly at the defeated ruffian.
Ronk marches over to the Redbrand, wipes some of Eye Patch's... Matter from his forehead and flicks it in the survivor, and squats down to glare at the man as the others join them.
Seeing reinforcements quickly approaching, the arrogant leader of this small band of street toughs loses his temper and attempts to wrestle Ronk to the ground:
Loudmouth's Grapple Attempt: 8 vs. Ronk's Grapple Resist: 17

Rigel falls back badly wounded. Stumbling back towards Ronk he disengages the two thugs.
