Zubin isn't sure exactly what's going on. "Sinsil," he asks, "why exactly are we here?" Looking at the unfolding scene, the only possible target Zubin sees is made of water, which isn't likely to be affected by a bowshot. Instead, he activates his ring of animal influence.

He will put himself between the creature and the others. But will hold his action until/if the creature or lady attack.

Before anyone can answer he unleashes a bloodthirsty grin. "A damn good fight, that's what!" and throws his axe at the figure in the water.

Hit: 9 piercing damage plus 4 lightning damage. Bite 2. Melee Weapon Attack: 17 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 piercing damage plus 5 lightning damage.
Larry ... Larry takes the dodge action.
Sinsil Fwoks ... Skeleton attacks the eel... 17 to hit, 6 damage. Sinsil spots the woman in the water after casting the see invisibility spell.
woman ... she attacks Sinsil.
Blinding Acid. Melee or Ranged Spell Attack: 12 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 30 ft., one target. Hit: 15 acid damage, and the target is blinded until the start of the nereid’s next turn.
The woman is still invisible to all except for Sinsil, though Sinsil might be blinded by this point...
Sinsil uses her reaction to cast absorb elements and gain resistance to acid damage.
She'll then (uttering the name of the Neirid, Dasa Zotz to activate Resonant Utterance - Sympathy) cast bestow curse on her. (Choosing the third option in the spell entry)

Shieldbiter was holding his attack for when the eel attacked someone...little did he know he would be first.
Standing firm and ready with his sword and shield, Shieldbiter took the first bite but was able to deflect the second attack off of his shield. As the eel was deflected off the shield, he was able to get in a quick stab and slash.
Attack: 23 Damage: 9 Attack: 28 Damage: 15
Then he would action surge another attack.
Attack: 23 Damage: 7 Attack: 19 Damage: 9
(OOC Shieldbiter is resistant to lightning damage, so how much am I taking total?)

While he's talking, he has taken the bottle of ink from his pack and uncorked it. He tosses it into the pond as close as he can to the point the attack on Sinsil came from. The ink swirls in the water; its tendrils move in response to movements in the water around it. (hopefully)

Larry assumes that he knows about where the women is, even if he can't see her as she cast a spell and gave away her position. If this is the case the toll the dead is directed at her. Otherwise at the water creature with the trident...
