"The charm is magical." Bree warns the others. "Let me study it for a bit and we can determine what it does." She will pick up the charm and take it over to her bedroll, where she will take some time to study it.
(OOC: I believe it only takes a short rest to identify a magic item... From the DMG: Alternatively, a character can focus on one magic item during a short rest, while being in physical contact with the item. At the end of the rest, the character learns the item’s properties, as well as how to use them.)

The charm is a nasty curse created over 1,000 years ago by a necromancer. It basically traps the wearer's soul in their bodies and prevents them from moving on. They become a snow maiden like the one you just killed. The only way to remove it is to kill the body and incinerate the flesh. Her body crumbled because of the age of her flesh, it was basically dust after centuries as a snow maiden
While running away the mean little guy shouts more insults at Red Arm 2, the trauma making him burst into tears as he runs.
As Tibby moves toward the stairs to the Damsel in distress, an arrow whizzes by his head and imbeds itself into spine of Red Arm 2. His bad day has come to an end as he falls forward into the moss covered gravel 10' from Skip.
After a few moments to collect himself. Tibby begins to suspect Yessica isnt the old lady that lived at the mill for which they came here to warn. He also, seems to recall a statement by the last red arm as too advanced payment of some sort..
After having used the powers lent to him for the first time, a bewildered Jaeson falls back, only just catching himself on one knee. The only thing that keeps him grounded in reality is the pain coming from the wound he received earlier, though by now it had healed, and only a memory of that pain remained. Looking at the grizzly remains of the Red Arm who lay dead before him, he then looks at his hands, wandering about the power that he now held. He would give a sideways glance to Skip, momentarily, before returning to his feet. It seemed he had powers of his own, with his trusty spoon. Something to inquire about, later...
Jaeson made his way over to Tibby, and looks at Yessica. "I...I take it that was all of them, then?"
Noa was taken aback by the smile on the undead's face before it disintegrated. "It looked like she was relieved." he said. It took a few moments but it hit him like a ton of bricks: she was a doomed soul that they saved by killing her unholy visage. It took all of him to stop shaking in anger at the thought of someone doing something like that. If it weren't for Perzy'S and his compliment, he might start overthinking.
"Your proficiency with your bow is most commendable. Remind me not to get on your bad side will you?" He chuckled before looking to Bree.
"And you! Hahaha!" He moved forward to give Bree a manly one armed hug. "I don't know what it is with you halflings but you never fail to surprise me! I'm glad you're on our side."
Upon inspecting the remains of their foe, he motioned for Bree to stay back before picking up the charm, noting that it might be cursed and used his spear to take it until she simply took it for examination. He was no fool but he knew well enough to steer clear of things that came from undead.
"I'd keep that thing at a distance if I were you Bree. It could be cursed... Or maybe it's an ancestral item from the thing's past? OR! It's valuable and we can sell it for money for supplies? I know a few people that might be willing to take it off our hands for a good price."
((Noa's ex-militia side and criminal contacts are starting to show. XD))
Skip would grab hold of his spoon, using a bonus action to make it glow a little bit brighter as if a slightly more powerful light were active. He would then place the spoon back in his belt. Then looking to Jaeson and Tibby, he would let out a relieved sigh. "Well we all survived.. so that is a plus" The halfling would say as he adjusts his chef hat. Then looking to Yessica, he would give her a slightly confused smile. "you don't look like an old woman... Did you happen to see an old woman in the mill... we came here to warn her about a dragon in the area and bring her back to town..." Skip would say as he rubbed his sideburns with his left hand. "It looks like there are more threats around than just a dragon though.." The plump halfling would say motioning to the dead bodies with his free hand. "I say we search the mill for the old woman and let her know what just happened... then we should search these bodies before giving them a quick burial. Then I say we head back to town. Perhaps it might be best if we stay the night here and leave for town in the morning... I can make us a hardy dinner once the bodies are all taken care of if ya like." Skip would say with a large smile. Skip would pause a moment, looking to the other bodies nearby. "I guess we should bury them as well." The halfling would say as he places one hand on his glowing spoon and points his free hand towards one of the lump shaped like a beast. He would then cast light on the beast shaped figure, as the light continued to still shine from his spoon.
(OOC: Here is part of post #67 on page 4 describing the mill: While you cant see any details you can see that the windmill has a partial fence around it. What appears to be some old grave stones. As you get nearer you can see dark lumps strewn across the yard at various distances from the house. Most are roughly human shaped with one shaped like a beast of some sort...
(Also, my spoon has the ability radiate light and I can also cast light so that is how I can have light going in two places. I am not really casting it twice. )
Searching the bodies of the RED arms, you find each has a small pouch with 25gp in it. The squad leader (female red arm) that attack Yessica directly also has a small opal, a tooth with a gold filling and a wanted poster with a crudely drawn picture and words Raven's Omen on the bottom in an elegant script.
If you decide to search the mill you will need to roll perception or investigation
As you shine the light on the beastly corpse in the yard, it appears to be a lion with a man's face and with birds wings and long tail with nasty looking spikes. The corpse is badly damaged, with scorch markes across its hide, multiple arrows and two spears still stick out of it. The humanoid corpses the surround it must have been adventures, probably on the same quest as you were. One body does stick out as not fitting in with the rest.
"Just so you both know, don't put this thing on, ever." Bree tells the others before she turns in for bed. "It will turn you into a Snow Maiden, just like the one we just fought." She yawns into her hand as she tucks the charm into a pouch. "Need to figure out a good place to get the thing destroyed when we have time..." She then turns in, going to bed.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Skip would collect the coins and other items, putting them in his pack before dragging them slowly into the graveyard. Once there he would search the other corpses and drag them close together as well. He would also search their bodies and collect anything of value. Once that was done he would get to work on burying the bodies. All the while he would reply and talk with his companions if they wanted. Once the bodies were buried, he would then make his way into the house and begin looking for the old woman. "I thought it might be best to clean up the blood and bodies before waking the old woman..." Skip would say to the others. "Don't want to scare her more than we need to." He would say with a small smile.

Ooc can we have like a heavy metal montage for the burial
Skip searches the mill's first floor utilizing the magic spoon flashlight. He finds lots of remnants of dried and crush herbs. I finds where the first Red Arm he killed had found the potion of healing. A small workshop area with a sturdy table some beakers and a small distillation apparatus for for making potions. There are 3 stoppered bottles filled with a red colored liquid common in healing mixtures and one filled with a green liquid of unknown origin and effect.
Do you show any particular items to the others before stashing them for later?
Tibby uses his bardic magic tricks to tidy up the blood and bodies littering the first floor of the mill so as not to freak out the old lady who lives here. He asks Yessica who the heck she is, if she isnt the lady that owns the joint and maybe inquires why the Red Arms seemed to have such a special interest in her.
Hearing there is a flying lion-man beast dead in the yard he of course has to poke it and see it for himself.
( to try and loot and bury all the corpse in the dark will take a long time and effort, you might want to focus on the mill and getting some rest. It is now past midnight on umbrage hill)
Yessica will introduce herself to you all ( I will give her some time before I fill in some blanks)

(OOC: Did the dead bodies of the adventurers outside have anything of value on them? What about the one that was different than the rest?)
"Hello!?" Skip would shout looking around the mill as he picks up his crossbow bolt from the ground. "Anyone here? We came from town to warn you about a dragon..." The halfling would continue. "Did you know that you were also being robbed down here?!... But don't worry! We took care of it!" He would quickly add, looking around after having finished collecting anything he wanted to take with him if the old woman happened to have been killed or had abandoned the mill. "Is anyone here?" The plump Chef would add as he made his way upstairs.
If you took time to check out the body outside that didnt belong, youndiscover it is an older woman an dnit an adventurer she has three large spikes through her chest. The remnants of the herbs in the mill are no longer good. The bodies you were able to search have been already looted by others as they have apparently been in the yard for several days now. There is a little table in the corner with a burnt out candle, and mangled quill and dried up ink pot. On the table is note, looks like a receipt for an order. Apparently the old lady paid good money for a rare recipe from a world famous adventurer known as Donkee Hoetay. It doesnt say what the recipe is for. But it hints at 'magical' flavor. It is due to be picked up tomorrow at a shop in the town of Conyberry up east on the triboar trail
"Hey Skipper! Is this old lady with all the sticks through her body the woman we are suppose to talk to?" Tibby asks while poking the old lady with the same stick as the lion monster thing.
Tibby, then walks up to the mystery woman and pokes her with the same stick, "So who are you, and why are the thugs after you, and more importantly, do you have any glowing dinner utensils?"
