After ensuring everyone is settled in well with the newcomers, Perzy'S makes a quick check on the goblin soldiers. They still seem pleased and eager to be with us so he heads to the group to try out the wonderful food being prepared by the halfling. He will fill them in on the village assault and the task before them at the Shrine. Once Noa returns with the initial scout report they can formulate a plan. Perzy'S will pay special notice to Yessica, though he wont say anything about her resemblance to the woman on the wanted poster looted off the bugbear.
The fog swirls around you as you creep towards the shrine. You can see the glow of several fires in four places around the shrine. The Shrine itself is surround by a wall, that has crumbled in a few spots, to include almost the entire western side. Each corner has a turreted tower an the north side has a gatehouse. Some of the towers have gaping holes in the walls and can be entered from the outside. The shrine itself is in pretty good shape with intact roof and a tall bell tower with the bell still in place. You at least one orc on top of a tower, you count two patrolling the western collapsed wall. The two fires you can directly see coming from the west are attended by an Ogre at each one. The other two bonfires are on the opposite side of the shrine and you are not likely going to risk sneaking a peek alone.
As you peek around the outskirts of the crypt. You find some stepping stones leading off into the woods a little ways. They have strange letters carved into them
@ Daishi
As you push on the stone lid, you hear a click and then the sound of a stone weight falling somewhere you cant see and then a stone door slides into place, blocking the entrance you came into the chamber from. For the first time, you notice several aged humanoid skeletons laying in various positions throughout the chamber. They all appear to have died fighting and are all wearing old rusted armor and broken weapons. A greenish glow emanates from the sarcophagus and you hear a commanding voice say " the only way out, is through..."
"If I am going to be any use tomorrow I need to get some sleep." Bree says as she covers a huge yawn. "Sorry..." She says when done yawning. "Going to find a place to curl up and get some sleep..." She does just that then, moving to a corner and, after doing some tossing and turning, going to sleep.
At the mention of being wounded, A sincere look of concern would spread across the halflings face. "You are injured.. well you should have said so! Please sit, sit and eat." He would say before sliding a small wooden box next to the sitting giant. The plump halfling would then stand on the box and place his hand on her shoulder. "Now trust me, I am not trying anything funny here.. you just eat and you should feel better in no time." Skip would add as light radiates from his hand as he casts cure wounds. once everyone was done eating. Skip would clean up his cooking and brewing supplies before curling up to finish his long rest as well.
The dark moonless night works in Gotemash's favor as he and his gnome Chronicler Sleepy Pete sneak away from the raiding Party's celebration deep in the hills known as " The Crags". Becuase of the gnomes short legs and the need for speed, the powerful orc ranger hefts him up onto his shoulders as he runs, hoping to make it to the cover of the Neverwinter forest before the new Chief or others take notice of his absence. The loss of honor in the new direction the clan was taking is too much for Gotemash to bare. Killing of the women, children and elderly in raids is against tradition especially when those villages belong to potential allies in wars against the races of man and dwarf. Gotemash sensed the newcomer was trouble soon as he came into camp. The power he wields was too much to resist for the former Chief and came as a shock after a month of living with them that he challenged the old Chief Thorc for leadership. It was a spectacular and short battle with little left of the former chief to properly bury. They called the new Chief Blood Eagle and it is an apt name for this monster.
Sleepy Pete doesnt mind riding on the Orcs shoulders. It give him a better view of the action and the orcs smooth gate makes it so he can write as they run. This is some exciting stuff an donce published will put the name Sleepy Peter on the map of anthropologists most renowned.
Noa has been out longer than the agreed upon hour and you all start to worry that he was captured or worse. Just when Perzy's was getting ready to go look for him, he enters the building. He ad stopped in to check on the goblins and they informed him everybody else was over here with the new friends. the goblins told him they were setting up a watch schedule and would get some sleeps so they would be ready for battle. They said earlier Clamshell, the least experienced of their group thought he saw a giant rat snooping around that was walking around like a man. They slapped him good for telling lies the goblin Sergeant Shrank reported. Noa hastily drew out a map and what he could see.
Inside the sarcophagus is a casket made of finely polished mahogany with the inscription in an old dialect of common, " Sir William Marshall, Flower of Chivalry, Knight of Knights, peerless warrior, and scholar."
the green light/mist is emanating from inside the coffin and as you search for secrets inside, the coffin itself begins to shake.
Running... through the broken gate and towards the path leading out of the clearing
Running... for the last time from the foul goblin who sundered his tribe's honour
Hold on, Sleepy. I'll run til we get to the road, and then see where we are at. We may run to Conyberry, or we may hustle, depends. And then we'll figure out what to do about that goblin scum Blood Eagle. Make his feathers all bloody, hey!

Your a long way from the shrine, you are running for the safety of Neverwinter forest. Here is the map so you can get your bearings. Will also be helpful to everyone else.
Sleepy Peter is wide-awake. Perched atop Gotemash's shoulders, he masks his nerves by taking copious notes on what he just witnessed in the camp, as well as on their hasty escape.
"Your speed is impressive, my friend. But please avoid too much jumping, if it's not too much trouble. You're jostling my quill. Your neck, on the other hand, makes a very fine writing surface."
He periodically takes his eyes from his notes to scan their surroundings with his darkvision. He fears for their safety, and is worried they could have been pursued. Perception: 9
The stripling Ranger smooths his stride out for a long run South and to provide stability for Sleepy Pete. He looks South West trying to estimate the distance to Mount Hotenow as best he can in the night.
I will see what I can do about a smooth run. And I want to get stronger, too, so I can squish Blood Eagle's head like a pimple! That would make for an even better writing surface, yes? But getting stronger will take time.

Noa made sure to take note of everything he could see and took a little more time to take in the details of the area. This led him to see some possible points of entry should they begin an assault on the shrine. When all was said and done, he had made his way back to their camp where the goblins told him of his party's whereabouts and was about to approach when he found Perzy'S about to go out.
"Awww, you were worried. I'm so touched." Noa grinned mischievously before introducing himself to everyone else present.
Hastily drawing everything from memory, Noa made a particular emphasis on key features he found. Namely the orcs placed strategically on an elevated position, the broken down walls to the west and the holes in the towers.
"Ah, there's one more thing though: they have ogres. Two of them. One each bonfire here and here respectively. Two orcs patrol the western wall. Well, what's left of it anyway. From what I could gather, it looks like they're planning on staying for a while. I didn't notice any patrol patterns or traps around the place but we should assume they have. As for suggestions, I think we can take out any opposition in the towers just so we have the higher ground. Any other ideas would be nice."

The letters are from a long lost language and are not decipherable unless you are in the anthropology background.
