After her turn, assuming the beast sees her, she will move towards the manticore and find cover. Otrov will then bonus action hide. If the beast does not see her, she will just make sure she is still within range and bonus action hide.
Relgalyn would let the image disappear as soon as the creature moves to attack it and strum a different, though still discordant, tune and release magic to try and affect the creature directly.
The manticore is still 100 feet away, when it swings his tail and three spikes fly at the elk. At the same moment as the spikes pass through the illusion, you hear Otrov releasing the crossbowstring (7 for crit hit). Realising that the manticore may not come closer, Dain also shoots his crossbow.
Two bolts strike the creature, one hits an eye, the other one hits his leg. The manticore screams in pain and pulls up into the air. He is now 100 feet away from the forest edge between you and the windmill 60 feet high up in the air.
Relgalyn, he is to far away for you to cast that spell.
Next round of combat, what do you do ( in PbP i work without initiativ. Who posts first, acts first. Your innitiativ has some influence behind the scene, but more so in a group fight.)
If you land a critical hit, just to reroll the damage dice (1d6+1d8 in this case) and add it to the damage. To save time i did that for you here, so you did a total of 14+7 damage.
Every damage dice that is directly connected to the hit gets rolled twice ( smite, sneak attack or extra rolls from magical weapons). You don‘t reroll damage that has a diverent target, a seperat saving roll (most poison damage) or a time delay ( delayed booming blade damage)

As Dain would ahve to roll with disadvantage to hit the manticore, he steps out briefly and taunts it.
"Come on ye big brute..." He yells up at it. "gonna just fly there all day or what?" He then steps back behind a tree to have full cover from the manticore unless it comes closer. he readies an action to shoot if it comes within 80 feet.

"Well we bloodied da beast a bit, but naught more than dat." Dain says with a frown. "Gonna have ta take da battle ta da beast on its terms me guessing..." He glances to the others. Moving to the edge of the trees he sends a crossbow at the manticore.

Otrov should be in range as well, so she will send another bolt at the manticore. (Does that stealth roll hide me? I will shoot again as if I am hidden. I will also use sneak attack as well. If this is not right I will edit it properly).

Two more arrows hit the fleeing Manticore. It doubles its effort to get away and is now 250 feet south of you, a good distance away past the windmill. The hill gives it 1/2 cover.
"Mayhaps da beast be going ta flee." Dain says with a grunt. "Let's be getting ta da mill fore it turns bout..." He then will dash towards the windmill. If the manticore turns back Dain will have a readied action to drop prone, giving it disadvantage on any ranged attacks.

If you hold an action, you can only have 3/4 cover at most. After all, you need to see to trigger the action.
