Quote from AmazingAmazon>Volkher can combine with his poisoner's kit and proficiency rolls can make 6 applications to be placed on blades or projectiles with this amount. To be imbibed the application is more like 10 doses.
(Do I need to roll anything for this, or just go make them?)
Volkher will see the others and curiously move over to see what they’re up to.
OOC: Yes, when he sits down with the kit and makes the poisons. There's a potential for failure, for weak poison, or really great applications. You're creating it from scratch.

Landrae returns Ulgar's smile. "They look impressive indeed, well built, clean, excellent examples all round... and the armour suits them too. It warms my cockles to see you in such a fine mood friend Ulfgar." Landrae follows Ulfgar to the back of the line, and offers a sly wink and flirtatious smile at the guards she passes.
Moving quickly through the line Ulfgar is approached by several acolytes of Sune. They are beautiful and young but all human.
"A...a dwarf? How? I thought Captain Vivian was joking," one boy says chuckling as the others just look curiously at Ulfgar.
"Hush," an older girl with elaborately braided hair decorated with gold rings and dusky skin says to the boy before flashing Ulfgar a brilliant smile. "I think he's quite handsome and our Lady would too," she adds curtly. "Certainly must have better manners, than anyone of you lot," she growls next as her companions grumble before filter off attending other bathers. "Hello," she then says cheerily to Ulfgar and nods a head at Landrae. "May her light be upon your face always....sir," she looks at Ulfgar curiously for his name.

Speaking to Brace, "Why don't you go and see what his sister can do for you in regards to the sword?"
Turning back to the dwarf he smiles pleasantly, "A family business, I approve. We are staying over at the Gnawed Knight and they had nothing but good things to say about the vendors in this area. I and my friends are looking to purchase some mounts for a trek outside the city, maybe four horses and two ponies and the accompanying equipment. Maybe also a donkey to carry our other little pieces like tents and what not. What can you do for us."
Landrae chuckles to herself as the girl appears to be quite taken with Ulfgar, desperate to see what happens and be ready to lend a hand she starts composing ballads of Ulfgar's deeds in her head... Though that amounts to a ship voyage and a night drinking at the Knight, which Landrae decides aren't the greatest endeavours to be turned into song.
"I'm sure I could help fellow Wastelanders out," he nods at Keth. " I'm Alaric and sister's name is Selwyn," he says, "welcome to Ironfist forge and livery," he adds. "Your welcome to look at what we've got in the stables at present. Six strong mountain horses and a fine set of ponies," he adds. "There's three pack mules available too. All for sale or rent but the contract is binding. You must return all beasts in the condition you find them and on the day your party sets the contract too if renting be an aim and coin is....light," he explains. "It's 85 gold pieces for each horse fully fitted for sale or 15 gold per day sun up to sundown fully fitted," he adds. "We also board here too for 10 silver per day if buying is your aim," he offers. "Penalties apply for extended contracts and dead or damage to the steeds," he finishes.
In the forge Brace finds a soot covered dwarf hammering away on what looks like a ghastly hooked weapon. She concentrating hard and doesn't look up.
"Can I help you," a elderly voice emerges from a old human woman who comes from a store front. "Sales through here dearie," she adds with a smile beckoning Brace into the shop.
Ulfgar bends to a knee as he grabs her hand and kisses it. Ulfgar Trueblood.. paladin of Sune, admirer of all beauty. May the goddesses' light forever shine down upon, lady...Ulfgar does the same thing as the lady, looking curiously at her for her name.

"In regards to renting, is it money up front? Also, how much for the pack mules?" Keth asks while he looks to where he can see the animals. He has some skill with handling beasts and would want to look them over.
"Forgive me," she begins, " Delilah Vandrie," she replies. "Let's say you want yourself and your companion wash in and out I think," she says smiling. "All through here and free of charge," she adds another brilliant smile pointing into the garden gate where acolytes and parishioners alike pass through to steamy baths ahead.
At the gate it's two channels, one for men and one for women. This is where Ulfgar and Landrae part ways. Every worldly possession is asked to be surrendered without option given and you are handed a robe t change in a private area. People are stripping off they can see as acolytes take gear by basket full with another logging items by name, do they proceed ahead?

"Ah yes up front. Three days at how..how many do you need?" He asks. "Mules are 45 gold pieces and rent for 10 a day," he answers.

Livly pulled Keth by the sleeve and when he bent enough whispered to his ear: "It's embarrassing but I know nothing about horses. Can ride a bit, but that's all. All choices on you here. But what I do know, is that if one of the horse gets so much as a mosquito bite, we will have to pay full price anyway as a compensation AND loose the animal. And we do not know how long would journey take, do we? I say we try to buy it off. If they are good, of course."
She turned to the dwarf: "And ponies? Also 45 gold?"She even went so far as to wink. "We need four horses, two ponies and a mule. A lot of animals off your hands. Do you think you can lower the price a bit?"
Continuing the amusing huddle with Livly, "You are right about the contract being a stiff bet but as of now we are almost at five hundred gold for the mounts. I am not sure we could convince everyone to part with almost all of the up front earnings."
"Each...." Alaric replies. "Wastelanders," he sighs stroking his beard, "four horses full price and I'll throw in the ponies and mule for free," he says winking at Livly again. "That's fair," he adds with a cocked eyebrow. "Anyone on in heavy armor I suggest a horse however," he explains.
"Deal!"happily exclaimed Livly immediately stopping bargaining and shining like a new coin. "Right? We are taking it, aren't we?"she looked at Keth meaningfully.

Landrae nods her thanks to Delilah, and says to Ulfgar as they start to move separate ways, a little louder than is strictly necessary, "I'll meet you on the other side Ulfgar. You could probably get some assistance in de-robing, should you like." then towards Delilah, she adds "Should any of our things be, ah... accidentally misplaced, they could be returned to us at the Gnawed Knight." Turning in a flourish, Landrae almost skips towards the changing room.
Having known she was coming for the baths, Landrae would have kept her possessions limited for the trip, no purse, lute, or weaponry. So she happily divests herself of her clothing to get it washed (OoC: unless that needs to be done ourselves). Landrae takes a moment to see whether the baths are overly attended by 'Wastelanders' or refugees. She'd like to keep an ear out for any interesting conversations once she gets into the baths, or any folk who are secreting themselves away into steamy corners.

Landrae only sees women in her bath. A mix of humans mostly she's not the only elf but there's not many others. She as well as the other non-humans are novel to the humans dominating the bathes. Same with Ulfgar who's the only dwarf bit he spots a few elves. Through the bathes and their clothes as well as armor cleaned the two emerge smelling like exotic flowers and spices with their clothing cleaned and mended. It's about an hour this spa experience takes and at the end they exit seeing each other as well as acolytes holding out donation baskets where they see other patrons places alms.
"May her light shine on you always," they say nodding at each gift.
The exit is near but the acolytes are position to be passed upon exit.
