"Aera, my dear friend, find a way out for the others, yes? Be fast, I beg you." Then to the rest of the party: "You all, follow her!"
Activating the power of Windborn, Oorr flies at all speed toward the gigantic demon ooze, preparing to dodge.
Aera Perception check: 22
Oorr prepares to sacrifice everything to get his friends out. Aera, dutiful and brave, flies ahead quickly to scout the path. Unable to see clearly as she leaves the light caravan, she is suddenly enveloped in the dim light of faerzress. Unwilling to fail, she feels the air currents and looks ahead in the darkness to discover that there are several branching tunnels merely 180 feet ahead of the caravan. Any one of these could lead to a dead end, or a way out...
She turns back to the party, and lets out a series of squawks to call them to her.
The rest of the party watches as Oorr confronts Juiblex face to.... well, amorphous blob. You hear a squawking as Aera calls out from down the path. Maybe she's found a way out?
Grimnir sees this huge pile of slime moving slowly toward them. This monstrosity seems too powerful, and Grimnir looks out for an escape for his companion and his fellow soldiers. His mind wanders, assessing all the possible tactics, when suddenly he sees Oorr rushing towards the demon.

Acid Lash at Oorr (Dodging): Attack: 21 Acid Damage: 21
The ooze lands in the middle of the trench. Brox, Belwar and Grimnir, along with a few other of your entourage are on the forward side, now cut off from the rest of your caravan behind the demon lord. Without warning, three pseudopods lash out at the closest targets.
Acid Lash at Brox: Attack: 32 Acid Damage: 26 Acid Lash at Zhentarim Thug: Attack: 30 Acid Damage: 19 Acid Lash at Lord's Alliance Guard: Attack: 31 Acid Damage: 17
Gargathine Truesilver just happened to be directly in the path of Juiblex as it landed. The pseudopod lashed out at her, muffling her shocked scream. Her lifeless body is sucked into the huge blob of Juiblex, where you see it floating amidst the orange and red eyes in the swirling blackness. Acid begins to eat away at the corpse.
The others hit by the lashes suffer damage, but remain intact. Eyes widen as the troops panic. Some start rushing towards the cries of Aera. Others stand stunned in the tracks. Some of them try to attack, but their weapons are useless against the slime as it just absorbs their weapon attacks.

DC 16 STR Save vs Storm Sphere: 17
The Storm Sphere covers the trench, as Belwar beats a hasty retreat. The shield guardian scoops up two companions and begins dashing just behind.
With Oorr in the air, Grimnir racing down the trench, and Belwar and his guardian dashing away, Brox is left standing amidst the storm, with Juiblex bearing down on her.
Your other companions begin to flee. Another lash of acid stretches out to attack one of the fleeing members of your party.
Brox watches almost stunned as Jubilex darkens the sky above them. She can feel the hatred Dawnbringer is sending out. Her sword wants nothing more than to kill this monstrosity. Every fibre of Brox's being wants the same. This demon creature shouldn't be here. It's the wrong place for it.
But she can also feel, that they're not strong enough. Their companions don't have good enough weapons and do no damage to a foe like this. Brox suppresses her first instinct to fight, and instead tries to help the people around her flee.
She prays to Silvanus, holding up her holy symbol [Turn the Faithless - As an action, you present your holy symbol, and each fey or fiend within 30 ft. of you that can hear you must make a WIS saving throw (DC 15). But right now, I am not strong enough. Right now, please help me save my people, we need to flee. We need to join more people and prepare better weapons. We will see this foe again, but today is not the day we fight. Please, Silvanus, help to get us all out of here!!!
She walks as much as her movement allows towards the direction indicated by Aera and gestures to Oorr and their followers to do the same.

Juiblex gurgles and rumbles, his form undulating as it draws closer to those running away. Brox’s prayer at first seems unanswered, but then a small object can be seen falling from the blackness above. It floats and drifts from side to side, and as it drops closer, Brox instantly recognizes it as an oak leaf. The leaf falls directly onto Juiblex, and a faint green shimmer erupts throughout the fiend. The demon lord halts his advance instantly. He writhes, thrashing against the sides of the trench, but makes no move to get closer to Brox. Her prayers have been answered, but it does not look like it will hold him long.
Brox sees Oorr engaging with the enemy again. She shouts out at him and at their followers:
"Now!!! The time to leave is now!!! Everybody, follow Aera and get out!!! Oorr, fly away now! If you want to protect us, you can take up the rear, but start moving away immediately!!! This won't hold long! We're not strong enough, get out!!!"
Grimnir is relieved when he sees Oorr retreating, but as he glances over the creature one last time he notices that a few of the soldiers are still in proximity of the demon Lord. He drops Rocky from his arms... "Run and stay with Brox, Rocky. I'm coming back in one minute..."
The master of spore then runs opposite to the remaining soldiers, casting chill touch to draw his attention. (Hit 21 ; damage necrotic 13) . To add insult to the injury, Grimnir shouts "Oy ! SlimeFace. We've met your friends Demogorgon and Zuggtmoy, but I must say you are the most boring lord demon, nothing exciting about you..." He looks then at the remaining soldiers on the fields and tell them to run. Using his inner-ki, Grimnir prepares himself for a possible retaliation and uses Patient Defence (1 ki point, dodging)

Brox's divine favor has granted a short reprieve, but it is fleeting. Juiblex covers the walls and floor as it moves away from exits that Aera found. It hesitates though, and starts to turn itself back towards the fleeing companions. Grimnir's voice shakes those companions from their stupor and they begin to run. A single lash of acid shoots out of Juiblex, towards the back of Nero Kelvane, who lags behind the rest of the Zhentarim.
Acid Lash on Nero: Attack: 24 Damage: 26
Nero screams, but keeps running, acid burning on their back.
The gashes made by your attacks seem to heal slightly as Juiblex regenerates.
With the whole party clear of the demon ooze, you all follow the screeching of Aera as she flies on towards the myriad of exits from the trench. Juiblex recovers from its momentary lapse from the prayer of Brox.
The cave exits aren't far, and you are all much faster than the slow moving ooze. Grimnir and Oorr are the first to reach the tunnels, with Brox, Belwar, and the rest of your group lagging behind. Now to pick which tunnel, and hope it takes you far from here. Choosing the wrong one could lead to a dead end, or more demon lords...
Oorr and Grimnir, as you pause for just a moment to consider which path to take, you hear a voice in your heads. "Quickly, enter the.... fourth tunnel... on the lower side.... we will delay the... amorphous one."
Behind you, the others start to catch up, but Juiblex is not far behind. A blob of jelly shoots out from Juiblex like a cannon, flying towards Nero, who is coming in behind everyone.
((Eject Slime: DC 21 Dex Save. Automatic fail, as the highest Nero can roll is a 20... so they take 55 damage.)
The ball of acid dissolves Nero and everything on them instantly. You all look back in horror, as you lose yet another member of your team.
Grimnir witnesses with horror one more companion disappearing, he will come back and destroy this Lord Demon. Then this voice...He is not sure...But it sounded friendly. He shouts "Fourth tunnel ! Let's move"
Spurred on by the shouts of Grimnir, and Aera's squawks, you soon outpace Juiblex, making it to the tunnels. Upon taking the 4th tunnel you are confronted by a strange and disturbing site. Dozens of oozes, pudding, jellies, and cubes, line the corridor. They are moving slowly but surely towards you. A calming voice speaks into your minds.
"It's okay, they... are with... me."
The menagerie for gelatinous substances passes you by, heading out into the trench.
"We will slow the... amorphous one down. Follow... the path."
At this point you notice a stretch of lichen along the ground. It glows with an emerald light that pulses and moves down the length of the tunnel. You follow it for several hundred feet, more oozes passing you in the opposite direction as you go. When you reach the end of the lichen, you find yourself in a wide cavern. Towards the center is a strangely familiar looking gelatinous cube. It council with it are an Ochre Jelly and a Black Pudding. When you approach, each of them greets you telepathically.
"Hello friends of Glabbagool."
"It is a pleasure to meet the saviors of the Oozing Temple."
Glabbagool greets you as well. "It is good... you have made... it. We should... not linger. But please, let us catch... up as we... move."
Your cubic companion begins to travel at a quick pace towards one of the edges of the cavern where a tunnel exits. Words of encouragement follow after you.
"Do not worry, we will stall the chaotic lord."
"May no crack keep you from your destination."
In the distance behind you, you hear the odd sounds of an ooze battle. You count your blessing, and follow after Glabbagool.
