Turning to Sarith: "I know you are confused right now. We are all coming back slowly to our senses. But you are a friend, you travelled with us. Stick with us, let's put some distance between us and ...this demon... Everything will become clearer in a while, I'm sure"
The drow looks at you funny. After a short pause, "I don't know why I'd be a friend to this strange group of mostly overlanders... but I can't go back to where that thing is. So I guess I'm stuck with you until I figure out where I should be going." He seems resigned to continuing with you.
Valrish sits down for a moment and tries to leave Stool standing. "I think we'd better go at Jimjar's place..." He says. "Are you okay, buddy?" He asks Stool, not sure how to check a myoconid's health.
Stool continues to shake, but let's you know he is otherwise okay. He seems rather calm for being unable to control the tremors that periodically run this his body.
Oorr can't believe they escaped that madness. He pauses few minutes to catch the breath he lost totally during the escape.
"Does anyone know which way now?"
Hemeth, the Duergar you freed form the Kuo-Toa speaks up. "I can't repay you enough for 'elping me out back there. The least I can do is get you to Gracklstugh, home of the Duergar. If I recall, we're heading the right direction, but it would not be a quick journey. Not by a long shot. At least two tendays of travel. You might find more supplies there, however, and we see our fair share of surface-dwellers coming through. You might even find someone who can tell you how to get home. It's on the way to the Neverlight Grove, if yer thinkin' of taken that small thing there." He points to Stool as he says the last words. "Not gonna survive long on what we got though. Hope some of you are good at picking mushrooms,"he smirks, and then turns to get his bearings on a direction before deciding on a large opening in the Cavern to the West.
Oorr gives a look a Stool: " We will do whatever we can, good dwarf."He continues toward the entire group: " It seems Grackstugh is our best option, considering we are still ill-equipped. I suggest we go there. "
Valrish raises his hand. "I'm a'ight with going to Gracklstugh, but I don't care about equipment, I just wanna get outta this massive shithole." He says, waving his hands towards the cave in general.

"Gracklstugh it is then." "I am Grimnir by the way, welcome to our crazy little party"
OOC: Can I try to read him ? do I feel a good vibe from him ? Duergar are evil by nature, I prefer to keep an eye on him Insight: 18
Studying his manner and his words, you determine he is at least being honest about taking you to Gracklstugh, with no hint of an ulterior motive. Though evil by nature, Duergar do have their own code of law, and your assisting him in escaping a grisly death has created a tenuous bond. He is genuinely grateful, but you may want to keep your guard up.
With a decision made to head to Gracklstugh, you gather your belongings, and strike out once more into the Underdark, putting the madness of Sloobludop behind you. You are carrying some supplies that Ploopploopleen had given you, but you are aware you'll have to find shelter and forage for food before too long. After a quick pace to get away from the carnage, you slow down to take stock of your rations.
(OOG Let's have everyone do a Survival Check, DC 15)
Within a few hours of leaving, Sarith's memory returns. He claims his headaches are getting much worse, and the red spots around his temples are noticeably larger. Bupiddo also calms down, and Stool stops shaking. Everyone seems to be more or less back to normal, though shaken from the experience of witnessing the Demogorgon. Belwar, you recognize the effects of madness in your comrades. (OOG Belwar only: Roll an intelligence check, with advantage)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Valrish also lights up a torch, moving to the back of the group to provide light in a wider area. He doesn't want any weird cave-thingy sneaking up on them.
Survival: 9
(OOC Aaaaand he failed again!! What will the prize be??)
You're becoming much more familiar with the underdark and the sustenance, what little there is, to offer. Most of you gather a good supply of food and water from the natural fungi, which should keep you fed for a normal pace for the next few days. After traveling for most of the day though wide open caverns you find a place to make camp for the first night. As everyone is settling down, you hear the noise of something skittering towards you from the cavern beyond. Yet again, a creature happens upon your small camp, worm of sorts with multitudes of legs, with a saddle along its back. The sight is so strange, you're not sure if it's the same creature you saw before or a different one.
Griming stands up and approaches the creatures slowly. Tempting to calm down the creature, taking slow steps and giving to it a portion of my ration. Animal Handling9
Does a Perception Check can confirm it's the same animal ? (Perception: 22)

Valrish sees the creature and remembers the one the encountered after escaping the drow. "Is it the same one from before?" He tries to approach it alongside Grimnir, trying not to scare it. Animal Handling10
