Lem, you let moon fly around the room a bit to see if you can see anything amiss. As moon flys, she goes up to the top of the room, about 15 feet up, and off into that back room area. There she/you see a kobold figure, huddled on the ground, not moving, along with some mining and tunneling tools. She continues to fly, and she is small enough to fly through the bars of the portcullis. As she flys by, through her eyes you see three kobolds with slings, waiting around the corner. They notice Moon, and any element of surprise you may have had is lost.
Zashier and Raddunth, getting bolder, maybe tired of waiting, venture forth to see if they can manhandle the portcullis into a raised position, but as they attempt to move around the corner, getting extremely close to the pools edge, the liquid in the pool rises into an amorphous blob, half of it still in the pool half morphing up into the air, and it begins to reach out for you.

"Three slinged kobolds to the right!"Lem blurts out to the group, and snaps back to himself. He's about to try to do something about them, and then he sees the blob rise up. "Zashier! Radish! The pool!"
He steps forward in front of Yokini and raises his mechanical arm up. With a half grin back at his friend, he makes a repetitive motion on it with his good arm (cocking it) it and opens the metal palm, sighting his good eye right down the forearm between the fingers at the blob. A bright light gathers in the open palm, and then a dart of flame arcs right at the blob thingy.
The blob ignites, taking some fiery damage but it is still alive and...blobbing?
The kobolds stay at the corner. They dont move. Its as if they are waiting for something - possibly the liquid. The one in the room at the back - you dont see him, so you are not sure what he does this round.
Cussing in elvish*, Thistle draws her saber and steps into the room, moving towards the south side of the pool, eyes scanning the creature within before she stabs at it!
Move: She moves 30’ towards the south end of the pool, up next to the pool. Eventually she’d like to be able to see all the directions enemies might come from, but this round just towards the pool critter at the south end of the pool.
Bonus Action: Insightful Fighting on the pool critter, Insight of 9 vs its Deception check.
Action: slash at the pool thing, 14 to hit, for 11 slashing damage. If Insightful Fighting worked, add 12 Sneak Attack damage.
* If anyone speaks elvish, read this...
Her elvish insults are kind of childish, as elvish goes, like she learned them as a kid and has not had much opportunity to refresh her lexicon since then.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Lemmy's yell startles Yokini. She looks up, pulling her bushy hair out of her face with her empty hand to take in the scene. "Yuck! What is that mess?" she asks. She raises her seemingly empty crossbow and jerks her wrist, the end of the weapon flying upward and then leveling out again. A glowing bolt now rests in the groove. She pulls the trigger, sending the projectile at the blob.
After Lem lights the blob on fire, Thistle moves up to the pool - studying her opponent as she moves - her lightening-fast reflexes attacking with a dowward slash for a direct hit...but, while studying the massive form of liquid, you notice it is not as viscous as water...it seems more ooze-like.
In fact, after your slash, with your natural insight towards fighting, you get the feeling that your slash didnt do any damage to this ooze...to your amazement, where you slashed at it, the ooze begins to slurp and schlorp into two different pieces (new ooze piece initiative: 1).
As you attacked, part of the ooze splashed back on you. Thistle takes 2 acid damage, and you notice your weapon still has some of the ooze dripping from it...and it starts to eat away at the metal of your weapon...It now has a -1 penalty to damage rolls.
MetaMoment - your sneak attack damage would mimic the weapon you chose to attack with, so since your weapon did no damage, your sneak attack damage would not apply.
Zashier you are up - there are two blob//ooze pieces next to you.
Yokini, not sure if the newest development with the ooze changes your prepost....but I want to allow you to create a new post if you would like, after seeing what happened to the ooze after Thistle's attack.
"Well that's a spot of misfortune on two accounts, if'n I say so myself."Zashier responds, still seeming nonplussed about the whole issue. "But not to worry. I have the perfect for any situation on hand as always." As he says that, the he manages to hook his axe back onto his person and cracks the knuckles of his free hand. After which, his hands began to glow a dull orange. "This hand of my glows with a most righteous power at times, yah? And it's tell'n me to not hold back. Leave'n the right ones to ya, Raddunth!"He punctuates his point by slamming his fist into the nearest puddle of ooze.

Zashier reacts to the Ooze - well, as much as Zashier reacts to anything - and as he draws his fist back to strike the ooze, it begins to glow. The pseduopod of ooze that had been moving towards him seems to hold in midair. Zashier leans into the punch, strking the ooze with a blast of radiant energy.
Ooze takes 10 points of damage, and it does not look very happy - if ooze could look any unhappier...
Zashier, as you pull your hand back, it has some ooze on it, and you can feel a burning sensation as you take 5 acid damage.
2 Oozes, 4 kobolds...what will happen next!?
Yokini is up - I know she pre-posted, but a lot has happened since then. I will give DDP some time to see if he wants to edit the turn.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
ok, we will assume that Yokini's plan stands, and that she would have attacked the Ooze nearest Zashier.
Her arrow, appearing out of thin air, is true to its mark, piercing a hole right through the Ooze.
Ooze 1 takes another 10 damage, small pieces of it flying off as its mass dwindles
Raddunth, in a rage, calls out "Demon dogs! Foul slime! Your dividing, coin-evading tricks will not stop Raddunth's fury." He pulls a Javelin from his pack, and makes an expert jab at the Ooze. As he pulls it out of the ooze, small fragments of the Ooze come with it, reducing its mass even further (by 11 more damage), and it looks like a fraction of the massive blob you started out facing.
Some of the Ooze splatters on Raddunth, causing 4 acid damage to Raddunth, burning his skin. There is also some ooze left on your javelin, and it begins eat away at the weapon, causing it to have -1 penalty to all future damage rolls.
The ooze, though slow, seems urged forward in some way. Its pseudopods raised in the air, it focuses in on Zashier and Thistle, swinging its arms of ooze with reckless abandon.
The first ooze swings at Zashier (18) splattering on him for 4 bludgeoning damage, and as it coats your body, you begin to feel it burn your skin, causing 13 acid damage. As it eats away at you, you also notice it eating away at your shiftweave and your shield. Your shield did not get enough on it to cause any sort of AC penalty, but you fear that more ooze could cause permanant damage to your shield.
The second ooze raises a dark, swirling arm of ooze, and hurls it at Thistle (15) but Thistle is able to dodge out of the way of the flailing ooze.
Lem (and Moon) you are up!
Two ugly oozes in front of you, attacking Zashier and Thistle. The one attacking Zashier looks like it has so much reduced mass, it is barely clinging to life (or consciousness? not sure about oozes...). You also know that there are kobolds waiting in the wings, but they are not visible to you at the moment....you wonder why they didnt attack, what were they waiting on? perhaps they were waiting on the ooze to attack and distract you? maybe they were scared of the ooze?...
Anyone watching Yokini's glowing bolt would see it soundlessly explode into a cloud of sparks that almost immediately burn out as soon as it pierced the ooze.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lem growls as the ooze attacks Radish and Thistle, with the barbarian looking hurt.
His hands come together, fingers tracing an empty globe shape and then his good arm comes up, three fingers pointing toward the oozes. Two darts lance out of two fingers at the ooze in front of Thistle and one dart from the third finger speeds toward the remainder of the ooze in front of Zashier and Raddunth.
Lem hopes he's calculated correctly and can finish off the decimated ooze with 5 force damage, and 6 force damage to the larger one.
(EDIT: whoops this is indeed magic missile, because sometimes it's better to say the spell you're casting instead of leaving it up to the mysteries of arcana for the DM to guess...)
And Moon, on the same turn, will fly just outside the passageway near where she saw the four kobolds are sitting and use her action to mimic what she heard the kobolds outside the manor say to Zashier, "in a high pitched voice with broken common: Get out of here. Leave at once. If you value your life, turn around and go." She's trying to project this around the corner AT the other kobolds, and not be seen by them. Attempted chaos bomb to throw them off their game.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I think speech and enunciation is a bit beyond Moon, unfortunately. Maybe she grunts at them, attempting to mislead them in some way. Deception for Moon: 8
Ok, so the Kobolds around the corner at the stairs now think there is a random kobold already there! Where'd he come from?
