Quentin shares what information he knows before saying, “Could be a proxy or a fake name he’s using. Once I figure out this spell any name that has any sort of Legendary connection I can find information about. It’s a bit pricey of a spell. I’ll need 250 gold worth of incense every time on top of the ivory I’ve already bought.”
There's not only one guy. Indri'in in charge, still could be lots of layers, lots of players. Annie Bracken, I think, is Greyelf's boss, maybe she's the chief hag or maybe there are more between her and the top. Maybe she's 'Auntie', maybe 'Auntie' is a few levels down - probably the big boss didn't make pickups from Original Flavor Barleyman.

Elwin shrugged. "I suspect Del is right about "auntie's" position. Hopefully we can find enough incense for Quentin after this tournament. Speaking of which, I'd probably better go get ready. " He sighed. So much to juggle at once. "I'll see you all afterwards," he finished. Leaving the others, he headed in search of Rokkeek, to find out where and when he needed to be.
The morning is taken up with a buzz of last-minute preparations, and informal competitions between the squires. The festivities of the day officially begin with the welcoming lunch. Hundreds of the most respected warriors in the Westwoods assemble in the dining hall, along with noble guests, their retainers and followers filling pavilions out in the courtyard alongside excited locals. Sir Elwin, the guest of honor, is seated beside Sir Rokkeek at the head table, with the officers of the knights of the Hall, and some older knights who are going to act as judges for today's trials and games, and a few other VIPs who have come to watch the games. When all are seated, Sir Rokkeek stands.
"Knights and guests, please welcome our new brother, SIR ELWIN COLD, Knight of Order of the Hall, Champion of Lomalos, Defender of the Westwoods!"
The knights stand and salute, the other guests cheer. They look expectantly at Elwin, clearly waiting for a speech or acknowledgment of some sort. (Add a performance roll!)

Elwin stood, and thanked everyone in attendance, along with Sir Rokkeek, for their trust and approval. He also promised to do his best to uphold the honor of their hall. It was a bit awkward, with a rather abrupt ending--Elwin was clearly new to public speaking, and trying hard to not sound too much like a street rat.

Sir Elwin's speech is recieved with reasonable applause and good-humored cheers. It was not inspirational, but at least you didn't insult anyone accidentally or have stains down the front of your armor.
"Well done," says Sir Rokkeek. "Spoken like a true knight. Now, about the jousting. You will, as the guest of honor, naturally tilt in the first joust. After that, it's up to the results and the brackets. Nobody wants to see a new knight unhorsed in the first round...well, no, that's a lie, half of them are hoping for it. But anyway, you will be matched against Sir Fetherwaite of Longbough. You will use the practice lances that are provided, and must declare any magical equipment you will carry into the lists. I'm sure I don't have to tell you not to try to sneak anything by the judges. We've already had to throw someone out for trying to smuggle in a Saddle of the Cavalier. It will be a stain on his honor from this day, not that he had much of a reputation to sully."
After breakfast you all check the schedule of events, and are pleased to see that you are scheduled at different times, so you can all watch your friends. (We'll try and run them concurrently, though, so everyone doesn't have to wait for the others to finish.)
Clerics and healers stand by laughing and joking about how much work they are going to have to do today, many of them wearing bandoliers of potions strapped to their bodies.
Mindartis is taken to a small arena, where his first opponent is a mighty half-orc in plate, carrying an enormous hammer. (You may roll initiative any time.) Sir Rangot init: 3
The Melee is run quite differently. An area of light forest has been cordoned off, and the fourteen combatants are dropped off at different points on the permimeter, out of sight of each other. Raven is told that she is to wait until she sees a flare go up, and then take whatever action she likes. Nothing is forbidden except for leaving the area, continuing to attack a downed rival, or re-entering the combat once you are declared down. You must wear an amulet that will allow the judges to scry on your activities and display your actions in illusory projections. (Hunger Games, whee!)
Lord Quentin will fight on a tower top above the Hall, while the rooftops and other flat surfaces are crowded with spectators. Del learns that the Battle of the Bards will take place in the evening, at the celebratory supper where the winners will be announced. You will take turns playing with 4 other bards. Each of you will have three rounds to play. There will be a prize for the best overall performance, and once for the single most popular performer of the night. Draw lots to see where you go in the playing order. (1d4, if you roll a 1 go ahead with your performance.)
The jousting is the main event of the day. As the archery tournament goes on, practically unwatched in the background, crowds of cheering locals, knights, visitors, and even quite a few of Quentin's fools fill the bleachers, watching the knights mount up. Standing in place of a squire, Skizziks hands Elwin his practice lance, and whispers, "Good luck, Sir Elwin!" At the far end of the lists, Sir Fetherwaite sits astride a buckskin warhorse, awaiting the signal.
The knight officiating drops a red handkerchief and scrambles out of the way. As soon as the cloth hits the grass, Sir Fetherwaite spurs his horse forward to meet you in battle!
