Frustrated and watching Lycosa punctured with darts again, Henreid calls to her. Holding his pinky and thumb up, Henreid hisses and points at the ceiling. Lycosa lowers her head to the floor and points her spinnerets upward, coating the ceiling with thick spider web. Her multiples pairs of eyes lets Lycosa watch Henreid guide her while still looking at the ceiling herself for the dart holes.
[OOC: if the dark holes can't be seen, she'll just coat the entire ceiling.]
Malbor nods and puts the trap into the ground, making sure to be quick so that none of the traps will have time to reset. He will begin to move down the stairs while making sure to be ready for a fight.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Once Malbor has set the affixing spike, Henreid waits for the party to pass, then sets the trap. He camouflages the trap in the center of the step, hoping that the unsuspecting victim is looking around the curve of the stairway instead of their feet.
The undead above are not pursuing but remain at the entrance.
Lycosa can see no holes that immediately give away the traps location. They are too well blended with the carved murals above and below. Henreid finds nothing in the stone passage.
The party the hears the trap reset as the same rush of air hits them.
OOC: Move or roll DEX saves.

Valar will greatly encourage the party to continue moving farther down, "Looks like we're still not out of the trap zone. UNdead's staying there so let's go that way,"

At the bottom of the stairwell there's a large open space with high pillars carved out of the same black stone. Its large space darkness pressing it on the party from all sides makes the party feel very small in the massive space around them.

Malbor will move forward slowly while still making sure to stay close to the party. As he walks his weapons will be in his hands and at the ready as he knows that undead are behind them. "Let us move forward and find the children as soon as we can..."
Valar with a quick look around in the light for enemies, Valar pulls out his dagger and chipping away a small piece of the black stone from a pillar, "Does anyone see a door we can proceed through?"

Requilary moves to the walls, shining the light and running his fingers across it, both to see if there is any art or symbols and to check for secret doors.
"Anyone want to take a gamble on whether there are traps in here too?" Henreid asks his party as he fishes out a "lucky" gold coin from inside his armor and tosses it across the room.
While he has Lycosa attach a web to his back, she climbs above the doorway from which the party entered. Henreid then uses his keen sense of survival to look for the children's tracks, more grease, or any other signs of life. Finding the tracks of children who aren't hiding them should be a simple task for a veteran tracker & guide (if they were not masked by their captors), but Henreid takes his time hoping to see or sense a trap before he engages it. If Henreid does set off a trap, hopefully Lycosa should be able to pull him out of harm's way, or at least close enough for his comrades to assist.
Henreid squats down and places his hands lightly on the ground like a halfling version of a frog. He stares intently at the ground, searching for the tracks he feels sure are there, but also sure they have been hidden. As he searches, Henreid talks to no body in particular about tracking children, getting lost in the woods as a child, animals that are difficult to track, using Lycosa's web for spelunking, and so on. While his one-sided conversation has no aim, Henreid is slowly making his way toward his lucky coin.

Malbor move a bit more info the room, looking for signs of anything that may have recently been through the ruins. At best he expects perhaps some kind of vermin or based on what you owe they had seen undead.
Henreid finds more grease trails that disappear into the darkness across the vast room.
Malbor finds very little but notices drag marks in dust at their feet as well as the party making their own tracks in the dust on the floor around them.
