Killian turns to Tanakir and Rycider. She looks strong and healthy, but her armor is scarred with new lines, and her bandaged body covered in dried blood. As well as the fresh blood of this latest foe. She wipes her sword and sheathes it.
”I met a spirit who chastised me for not working together with you others, then gave me entrance to this room,” she says without preamble.
Walking to the wall, she puts a gloved hand out to touch it experimentally. She is ignoring her thrall, leaving it to stand there, a tool.
Tanakir sits down on the ground with a heavy thud, letting out a low chuckle, "So was that the test? To separate us with magic and then criticize us for not working together? More of an obnoxious puzzle than an interesting one, I'll say."
Killian smiles at Tanakir, "I had those very words with the ghost before joining you. This has been a puzzle as much as a fight, for me, to this point. A maze of corridors, traps, a dead body, and some very alive hobgoblins, the leader nearly did me in. The apparition said that one of us had already fallen, and showed me the two of you, and Gruun and Hox. You were beset, and the others seemed merely puzzled by something, so I chose to join you."
"I was not shown Aradurk," she adds, examining the wall she came through.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Tanakir struggles to his feet, placing a hand on his chest and using the rest of his Lay on Hands on himself, "If Aradurk is in danger, there's no time to rest. If we can't get out the way you came in, then we must push forward."
”We have a good while, most of a day,” Killian replies, glancing at her creature. “But then, yes. It’s not like the kind of commanding spell you might be familiar with though. This is complete control. I could send it into the sunlight, if I chose to.” She looks around at their situation. “If there were any sun.”

Tanakir speaks up, producing the javelin from earlier from his pack, "We found this, do you think you can make heads or tails of it? We'll keep the... undead for now, it may serve useful in the immediate future. We'll destroy it before it can break free from your control. In the meantime, we must push forward."
You turn back in the hallway and reopen the door leading to the invisible voice. Oddly, when you open the door, you see that the room beyond is devoid of rotted apples; the room is devoid of anything but the other door at the opposite end. Judging by the silence that follows Gruun's question, the invisible voice is also gone.

The walls feel solid to Killian's touch, even though she stepped out of them mere moments ago. The only openings in the wall are the two doors in this room; one leading to the altar where Tanakir discovered the javelin, and one exiting the room.
Backtracking is not difficult; the two of you have not experienced many intersections in this place, providing an easy path back past the fallen net trap, arcane symbols, and tiles that you passed along the way. After ten minutes of traversing the corridors, you find yourself at a T-shaped intersection, with paths to your left and right.

Facinating. Ricky comments to no one in particular. She holds a kerchief to one of the many holes in her neck wondering if vampires produce an anti coagulant in their saliva.
Hox sadly heads back to the room with the voice and apples.

Gruun grumbles and walks back to the room with the Voice. He takes another torch out of his pack as they walk.
"We need your help to get back to our pack. What will it take for us to return to them?"
Tanakir struggles to his feet, placing a hand on his chest and using the rest of his Lay on Hands on himself, "If Aradurk is in danger, there's no time to rest. If we can't get out the way you came in, then we must push forward."
Killian pulls the curious pipes out of her small pack. "These might be better handled by you," she says as she hands them to Rycider.

Rycider, having a closer look at Killians now passive charge, takes the pipes with thanks.
Are we going to have problems with this... thing once the mesmer wears off?

Slapping the wall to emphasize its solidity, Killian turns to the others. “What was your name in life, creature?” she addresses the vampire spawn.
(We can do that conversation as we go, but in the interest of expediency...)
She tells the proto-vampire to go open the door Tanakir and Rycider did *not* come out of.

Gruun will continue backtrack until they find a route not yet taken. Periodically he'll shout for the others like he did when finding Hox.
Hox shouts out as well, mostly saying Hello and Hox is here.

The vampire spawn stands waiting, listless and spiritless. Tanakir's question elicits only a slight noise, a low, quiet growl.
