As Ander dispatches the remaining undead creature, Anearis notices a bobbing hooded head behind the hedge south of him. One of the robed figures, surely. He had proved to be dangerous as he had summoned more enemies to battle.
Trying to catch up to him, Anearis ran south alongside the pond of murky water and through the branches of the hedge (1 step SW, 4 steps south and 1step west). Once the cultist was within reach, the elf sent a flying kick to the upper body of the cultist.
Unarmed Attack: 17 Damage: 6
The first kick was then followed by a second spinning one to the figure’s lower body.

The undead spectral skeleton spirit moves, almost floating, toward Anearis and lunges a bony claw at him. Attack: 13 Damage: 11
Anearis Wisdom Save: 12
Nik rushes to retrieve his weapon's from the unmoving corpse of Z2, then uses disengage to retreat back out of the spectral skeleton's reach, to the spot just north of Viilgahan.
The black robed figure moves in to the opposite side of R2, from Anearis. He can see that beneathe the hood is a tall human female, and beneath the robe, which is actually more of a cloak, was a set of chainmail armor "Not sure who you are, but I am helping against these undead," she calls to Aneairs as she shoot a magical blast at the robed summoner.
The robed figure flies into Anearis, and falls to the ground. As it does so, the two spectral skeleton's immediately dissipate, leaving no trace that they were ever there.
The creature had severely injured Anearis. He had begun to look for a way out as he was stuck in between to enemies. Until the robed figure appeared on the other side of the hedge. The blast of magic had made short work of the cultist and the spirits he had brought forth from the beyond. Anearis moved to the side to avoid being hit by the corpse. The robed figure revealed herself to be a woman. Still on his guard, Anearis sized the newly arrived fighter. "Thank you for your assistance. Who are you, though?"
Pulling the hood back to reveal shoulder-length auburn hair, Austin nods in greeting. "My name is Austin Ashton, I am a bounty hunter, and I have just arrived here, tracking my quarry to these very ruins." She glances around the area with emerald eyes. "Any more of those undead around, or was that the last of them?" She holds a rune-carved quarterstaff in one hand, and wears a black cloak over chain mail armor.
Uthal brings his spectral hammer over to himself and watches the newcomer warily. "Being against these things is good. There was an archer with them who retreated, the pansy."
Austin glances back over her shoulder. "Would he be a man with a dark green hood and cloak, with a black bow?" Austin asks the group as she turns back to them. "Pretty sure that is my quarry... He ran into the keep as I arrived."
Uthal nods. "That sounds like him. He ran cause he sucks with that bow and we were giving him a good beating. Does your bounty require him alive? Because I would like to continue that beating."

Ura returns, walking back to the others and hissing as she pokes at her wound. Not too bad, but she's still annoyed that the archer got away. "Who is that bow-wielding ******* anyway?" she asks Viilgahan. "He's got to have a name. And I've got to have his gods-damned bow now. It's like a gauntlet was thrown!"
She eyes the newcomer skeptically, then gives the woman a measured nod. "Good work killing that bastard there. We could use a strong arm like yours in this dungeon we're going into. But you know... I told that guy about D'Armes, even showed him his face. I got the feeling we better move faster than we were before, if we want to save him. Damn it,"she swears under her breath.
The battle over for now, Viilgahan left his upper robes tied about his waist, looking over the courtyard. ...a newcomer, how delightfully sweet... He lightly snapped his jaws at his right shoulder, the shadow he saw there retreating back to being just a shadow once more. He turned his head and watched for a moment as two children played in the, what was once likely, water before blinking them away. The phantoms vanished but the sound of laughing children lingered in his ears for a moment after. They were of no concern now, more pressing matters were at hand. He eyed the newcomer carefully, the woman, revealing herself, seemed capable at the very least. He sighed, his lack of sleep troubling his own magicks just moments ago, grinding his teeth in mild frustration until Ura's voice snapped him out of his melancholy.
"Hmm?" He blinked twice before answering her. "Ah...Viggo. Shame he has chosen death should he stay, this could have been avoided." He shrugged, turning towards the dwarves. "Master Nik? Everything alright?"
"I would prefer him alive, but it is not always possible, or practical." Austin says with a shrug. She grips her quarterstaff as she meets the group. "Do you wish to follow him now then or give him more time to get wherever he is going?" She asks with a raised eyebrow. "If you are ready now, we can follow him into the keep..."
“Same as before,” the dwarf said to Viilgahan, while propping up his unconscious brother. Returning his weapons to their place among his equipment, he pulled out a series of leather straps, and began weaving them between both his and Nack’s packs. It took several minutes to complete, but Nik moved with purpose and precision, as if something that time and time again had engraved the actions into his muscle memory.
With a large grunt, Nik heaved the combination equipment/human pack onto his shoulders and back. ((Think baby bjorn / Master Blaster type situation.))
”Not tha first time ‘round.” Nik slowly but steadily walked over to where members of the group were greeting the newcomer. The dwarf walks up to Austin, but can’t exactly look up higher than her torso, given his stature and current situation. “Ya say tha bowman is your quarry. So if we all are ta go in there, you be less interested in plunder and treasure, right?”
"I'd expect my fair share of anything the group finds while I am with them." Austin says with a frown. She runs a hand up to tuck some of her auburn curls behind one of her ears. "If you have something you have prior claim to, then I will have no problems with that, but general treasure I feel I can offer enough in way of aid to you to get a fair cut of that." She whirls her quarterstaff, the runes glowing softly, then thuds it back to the ground.
"Most of the things this group finds are death and misfortune, so if you want to lighten our load by sharing the burden, I'm all for that. A little hazard pay doesn't hurt while you're mitigating our bad luck," Ura says companionably. Her slight smile drops immediately however, when she looks at the others. "Do we need to stop and rest for anyone? Ander, you ok there? Otherwise, let's get a move on,"she says, her impatience almost visible. She pokes Anaeris. "You think you can track this Viggo guy from where he jumped off the wall?"
As the group gathers together, Ura concentrates and taps into her newly-formed well of magic. Behind Nik, her invisible mage hand manifests itself, and starts digging through the pocket where she thinks it's most likely that he hid her coin.
“Juss’ an agreement that we get final pick on looted pieces of interest.” Nik pointed to himself and the other, unconscious, dwarf strapped to his back. “Long as you can live wit that, we’re good.” Nik shifts the carried weight, as he swats at the air next to him. Having thought something was smacking about his pocket, but finding nothing there, he walks over to Uthal.
”Hey Biggins. Not sayin’ I cant do it, but I’d kick myself later if it turned out you woulda.” Nik points his thumb to Nack. “Any chance a’ you carryin sleepin’ beauty til he wakes?”
Having finally cleaned the black sludge and decaying flesh from his blade, he to, turned towards the new potential companion. Ander joins the group near the south side of the garden, seemingly having something on his mind as he moved. “I’m fine, but I agree we should decide our next action,” he says to Ura, before turning to the black cloaked woman.
”Well met, and our thanks.” “Sir Ander of Whitehall,” Ander introduced himself and put his hand out towards Austin.
"I understand your want to settle things with the ranger. However, I think we should find Ser D’armes before something bad happens." Anearis said with a resolute expression. He pointed towards the large entrance on the side of the castle. This seemed to be a promising route to him. "We have an entrance over there. Hopefully, we are not to far behind him."
He turned his attention to Ura. "Knowing our luck, we will run into him again."
Now that the fight is over and things seem to be calmer Uthal lets his adrenaline slow a bit. He leans heavily on the handle of his hammer. "Aye dwarf, I can carry him. Well, let's get on with this. Our death awaits." He walks over and lifts the sleeping dwarf over his shoulder, once he's been unstrapped.
