Austin follows to the East, her quarterstaff held in both hands to keep the metal end from thumping on the ground as they continue. She still clinks as she walks though, her chain mail rubbing against itself under her black cloak.
Choosing the eastern running tunnel, the party continued, though it didn't take more than a few steps to see the tunnel's end. About 70 feet from the split intersection, there was a door. It was closed, however the main noticeable difference between this one and the large open doorways with the Arbitrator-like sword in a pedestal, was that this doorway was not part of the existing masonry. In no way, was the door, or the wall, part of the original construction of the tunnel. The door was wood and framed into a wooden wall that itself seemed to be crudely constructed into the tunnel. If anything it served more the purpose of a makeshift barricade.
The door was the approximate size and shape of any door the members of the party had experienced in life (sevenish feet tall, three feet wide). There was only a simple pull ring, with a key hole above it.
((Goes without saying, but)) Ura easily concealed herself in the shadows. This was especially easy considering the only light source even in the tunnels, was the dim glow of Viilgahan's magical lantern. For this reason, Ander had been following especially close behind the dragonborn.
Uthal looks at the door. "Well, that's different. Think our friend with the bow or someone like him put it in?" With that he attempts to peer over the heads of those in front of him, trying to see if the door is locked or trapped in any way, providing suggestions based on what he sees.

"We want to knock or just make our own way through?" Austin asks in a quiet voice as they reach sight of the door. She would let those with the skill to check the door past her and wait to see if the others are going to knock or just open the door somehow themselves.
Ura takes a close look at the door to make sure it's not trapped, and also to see if it's locked without setting off any potential alarms. She gives a thankful nod to Uthal for his help.
Hearing Ura's explication Uthal decides to do what he always does. He puts the dwarf on the ground beside his brother and makes his way to the front of the line. He then takes his hammer and uses it like a battering ram to open the door.

Ura pales and holds out her hands before Uthal can swing again. "Wait! Wait! You didn't break it on your first try! This must be a magic door! Viilgahan - can you take a closer look at it? It could be dangerous!"
"How about we try this instead?" Austin asks, pulling a crowbar from her pack. She moves to the door and attempts to open the door with it, figuring the hammer blow had made their presence already known.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Perhaps from a poor grip on the hammer, perhaps in the dark Uthal misjudged the distance; either way Uthal's attempt to smash down the door resulted in an audible 'tink' from the hammer's head lightly tapping against the ring on the door.
The door stood as it was, unscathed.
However, it didn't remain such for long. Using the crowbar, Austin, with minimal effort, pried the door, and braking the frame. The door cracked and leveraged it away from its position. The door was no longer locked, and any attempt to re-lock it in the future, for any reason, would likely prove fruitless.

While unable to necessarily see it, due to the limited illumination, Uthal and Austin in close proximity to the door, definitely felt a sort of misting spray as Austin popped the lock on the door.
While Austin seemed uneffected, Uthal seemed to have received the heavier dose, and suffered 1 poison damage.
Austin lets out a colorful curse as she waves the air before her face. "Being a bit too rash there I guess..." She chides herself as she glances over to the others. "Sorry about that, should have known it was likely to be trapped somehow." She shrugs. "Whatever it was it doesn't seem to have been all that dangerous, I don't even feel hurt at all." She pushes the door open with a foot, glancing inside.
Viilgahan had turned to face the way they came while the others worked on the door. At the use of his name he turned back, almost forgetting that he had indeed given the elf Ura his actual name and surprised to have heard it. He was about to open his maw to answer her, watching as at that exact moment the human Austin procured a crowbar. A small amount of leverage and a puff of something later and the dragonborn winced. An image of two slaves trying to open a tomb and being hit by pressurized salt came unbidden to his mind. Whatever it was that hit them, he was suddenly very glad he wasn't the one opening doors.
He shut his maw and gave Ura a slow blink and a slight tilt of his head. Regardless of what was already done, he did take a moment to inspect the more recent addition to the tunnel. "If you suspect anything like a trap..." he paused here, Viilgahan's head tracking as if something had entered from one stone wall and exited through the other. He blinked and continued. "...might I suggest just burning through. A controlled flame may take time, but the results are safer."
Pushing the door yielded no results for Austin, however easily deducing the alternative, it opened with ease, as she pulled it open to peer inside.
No sooner had she done so that a voice rang out in the darkness. “It's about time. We've got to pick up the pace if we're gonna finish on time, now help me grab the last one cowering in the back of that cell."
A human man with an unlit lantern was on the other side of the door, walking away from the party, towards a row of iron bar doors on the eastern wall. The man had long hair and wore very frilly noble clothing with many folds and overlaying fabrics. There didn’t seem to be anyone else, so it appeared that when he spoke, he was directing the words towards the party at the door.
Viilgahan’s inspection of any potential magics around the door and wall provided him with the insight that they could be a trap and spell attached to the lock.
Uthal doesn't know who this man is or what he's doing but it's not the Arbitrator and everyone else in this place has been evil so he hedges his bets. He raises a hand and calls out to the man. "Brene." sacred flame

The noble had been attempting to make his way back to one of the cells, in the dark.
While Uthal was unsuccessful in his surprise attack, it at least required him to come into the room for a better idea of their surroundings.
The room is 70 feet north to south and basically 30 feet East to west. The southern most 20 feet or so (where the door enters the room), is actually 40 feet east to west. Immediately south of the room entrance is a descending stairway, but is stopped abruptly by a cave in, that blocks any further movement. On the eastern wall were four evenly spaced iron bar doors, each leading to a small cell-like room. The rooms all contain large stone slabs that can be seen through the doors.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“A fight it is then.Twas clear surprise hath failed to win the day, Now rise, lantern, shine light to guide my way" The lantern in the noble’s hand reignites. With the new illumination and the man having turned as a result of Uthal’s failed attack, the party can better see him, or at least Uthal for having actually made his way through the door. The man had olive skin and a brown mustache and goatee. The fancy noble clothes he wore, were bluish purple with red trim.
Anearis had no seen what was in the room yet. However, he heard a voice and saw Uthal cast a spell, which he assumed meant there was trouble. With this knowledge, he stepped past Viilgahan into the room, bow at the ready and as soon as he had sight on the target of Uthal's spell, he released the arrow.
