The haymaker just barely connects with the side of the half-orc’s head, but ‘barely’ was all it took. The half-orc is knocked back, and a small cut right above his cheek, draws a drop of blood. Bearett returns the favor, with a wide left swing at Uthal’s jaw. Attack 18 Damage 3
Bearett avoids Uthal’s attempt to attack his footing, and continues with the left handed attacks, that he’s been relying on this far. This time attempting to strike Uthal’s ribs.
Uthal’s attempt to pull such a maneuver proved to be a failure, perhaps due to a lack of hand-to-hand practice, or an underestimation of his opponent’s grappling handicap. The half-orc continues to attack the ribs again, with the mindset of having enough force, eventually something would probably break.

Rearing back from the blow to his stomach, Bearett moves in low and quick against the tall opponent, pushing off with his lead foot to perform an uppercut against Uthal, with hopes of connecting the chin and scoring a solid blow to knock him out.
Attack: 19 Damage: 2
He connects, but unfortunately Uthal’s chin turned out not to be made of glass.
Uthal's head doesn't move from the blow and he grins slightly. He decides to bring both hands together on either side of his opponent's head to stun him.

While multiple blows are being traded between the two men, nearly no time has even passed around them, and the crowd is still in a state of frenzy, at the two men, quickly exerting all energy. The half-orc, effortlessly ducking the goliath's attack, goes for the ribs, once again.
Connecting with the top of Bearett's skull, Uthal risked hurting himself just as much as the half-orc. It required a knock to the thickest part of the hard-headed half-orc's skull, for Uthal to deal some damage.
Whincing in pain, the half-orc looked as though his eyes were about to roll back into his head, as he crumbled to the ground. However, he uses the rush of anger and adrenaline to stay standing. Keeping with what worked for him he aimed once more at the goliath's ribs.
The final blow from Uthal is all it took, to finally knock the half-orc off his feet, knocking him flat on his face.
"Winner!" The Pit Master grabs Uthal's wrist and hold up his arm, half stepping on Bearett's back as she did so. The crowd cheers, and many shouts of support can be heard, cheering for "Uthal the Destroyer".
Still holding up your arm, and facing the surrounding spectators, she speaks close to you."Go ahead and get yourself cleaned up. Let me know when you want to fight again." The Pit Master turns back to the crowd. "A troubling upset for you home-town band-wagoners. But you can't win them all." She let's you go, and removes her foot so that a team of kobolds could remove the half-orc from the pit.
Uthal just nods and wanders back to where he left Ura, quickly strapping on his armour again and hefting his pack. He then heads back to the lobby to see if the others are there.

As Uthal approached Ura, and his equipment, a kobold was paying Ura the winnings, from Uthal's match. "You made me rich," Ur said to him, showing the 6 copper pieces now resting in her hand. "Here, for your hard work. Though I must say I'm disappointed in the number of knees left intact," she says with a wink. Ura drops 4 of the copper pieces in with Uthal's gear, as he re-equips it all on his person again; pocketing her original 2 copper that she used to make the bet.
The two of you make your way back to find the rest of the party still at the bar, talking with Valentina.
While Uthal and Ura are away, Anearis is having a conversation with Valentina. ‘’Not really looking for anyone in particular. Simple curiosity. The guards at the entrance that the royal family of Cathaan came through recently. Any idea why? I would have imagined they rarely left their city.’’
He took a puff of smoke from the coiling tube as she answered before continuing the conversation. ‘’We were heading to Korusant for a delivery of goods. You must see a lot of travelers like us. Anything to know about the road beyond Midgar? We heard rumors about this Castle of Aaargh. What do you know about it?’’
“I heard a similar rumor of the Cathaan royals, Anton Berossus and an entourage of guards; but if you’re asking if they came here, you’re definitely a foreigner. Nearly any member of that bloodline wouldn’t be caught dead in an establishment not owned by a human. Even the ones who married outside their race, manage to find non-human companions that share their exact xenophobic mindset and way of thinking.” She spoke of the royal family with disappointment in her voice, more so than disgust. “Interesting lot, the Baron and the Council, and just that whole family. If he’s out this way though, he was likely passing through on his way to somewhere else.”
As she spoke she pulled out a wine bottle, and three goblets, which she then proceeded to fill and place in front of Anearis, Ander, and herself. “On the house.” Leaning on an elbow, she sipped her drink as she continued talking with Anearis. “I’m assuming this is your first trek there? It’s a fairly easy route, when the west road turns north, just follow it all the way to Korusant. It’s a heavily traveled road; bound to see plenty of others, going both ways.”
She took another sip, and topped off her cup. “But if you truly are simply delivering goods. The old stronghold is something you will want to avoid. It’s remnants of a past nation that no longer stands, they say a kingdom of Dragonborn, built on the ruins of an even more ancient unknown civilization. The only ones that go out there are monster hunters, treasure seekers, and fools; sometimes all one in the same. As long as you don’t take the western road south, or decide to get lost in the woods, then you should have no worries about running into it.”
While she spoke, she still kept her head on a swivel, paying attention to the other patrons. She left her goblet on the counter to go down to the other bar, for someone that had been trying to flag her down. As she left temporarily to see to the other patrons, Uthal and Ura returned from the arena; Uthal looking a little worse for wear.
"Hey guys! Anything exciting happen while we were gone?"Ura said, sliding into a seat next to the others. "Uthal's impressive display of negotiation skills won us enough money to buy ourselves a napkin at this bar. Please tell me you've had a more productive evening?"
As the party reconvenes and begins spinning each other up as to what had just occurred with the split parties, the volume within the main tavern of the Maiden’s Bossom begins to die down. It is a slow progression, but eventually turns nearly to dead silence except for a single sound. Valentina was walking back to the group, reaching to grab her goblet, when she stops short and just freezes. Most of not all the other patrons within the place are frozen as well, staring straight ahead, listening.
Anearis and Ura hear it first, then Uthal and Ander soon after. It’s faint at first, the sound of a large low tone bell ringing; but it gradually increases as more bells seem to join in unison. It’s unclear whether the locals were all frozen in fear or anticipation, or even both, but Valentina, who was looking past Anearis, at the main entrance door, merely said, “Shit—“
