Moving over the remains of dozens undead, I. Such a short distance, Ura moves just west of the downed knight. Finally close enough to the knight, and able to actually devote some attention to him, Ura recognizes him as some one they had met only earlier that day, or at least the armor of such, as they never actually saw the man’s face. Through the caked on blood and ash, Ura identifies the knight D’armes.

Ura may not know how it happened, or how deep the knight’s injuries went, but one thing was sure; the knight needed medical attention, if he was going to survive. Utilizing the healers kit, she successfully stabilized D’armes.
Kel, finally feeling as if the strength returned to his limbs, moved to support the elf that headed towards the armored figure. He took a stance to the left, Ready to attack should any enemy present itself from the darkness. He kept his eyes scanning the mist, aware the beast was still nearby. "If he can move, we should get him and the dwarf to shelter."
(Ready Attack, Trigger: Enemy/Undead within range)
The giant bat’s disappearance but still audible movements seem to draw the party’s attention from what was still happening on the ground level. Either that or the single remaining undead was no longer considered to be a threat worth addressing.
U4 takes the opportunity to attack Uthal, while the rest crowd around D’armes. Attack: 21 Damage: 7
While a majority of the group swarms to bolster its position as a large group, the bat swoops down to pick off an outlier. It lands, directly on top of the dwarf, and digs his clawed feet around the dwarf’s chest, before attempting to take flight again. This time, with the unconscious dwarf, in tow.

Even in his injured state, Uthal was able to grab hold of the dwarf and pluck him from the giant bat’s grasp, as it flew back up into the black clouds above.
"I'm no good at the heavy lifting,"Ura tells the others, squinting at the annoying zombie still heckling the group. "Take D'Armes and get to some shelter! I'll be right behind you!"
Ura leap forward, sword in hand, and with a murmur under her breath, try to stab U4 with her booming blade. Attack: 8 Damage: 7 piercing + 1 sneak because of Uthal If U4 moves, it would take 8 thunder damage
Ura will use her bonus action to disengage and move out of the zombie's reach, waving her sword tauntingly at it and daring it to follow her.

Kel nods at the elf, slinging his weapon into his sheath and hoisting the armored form of the individual that was called 'D'Armes'. If he retraced his steps, he could only return to the embrace of the Maiden and the shelter of her walls. "If we make it there, we can rekindle your flame." he whispered as he began the trek. His path of intent would skirt the undead still standing (U4) and retrace his own footsteps from his previous position in the fight to the door of the Maiden.
Anearis sees the tiefling try to carry the knight to safety. He notices however that the one of the undead is still standing. To make sure their retreat is unhindered, Anearis will attempt to take out U4. With a swift motion, he sends a sweeping kick to the undead’s rib cage.
Action: Unarmed Attack: 22 Damage: 7
Following up on the kick, he extends his leg in a second straight kick.

U4 DEX Saving throw: 8 The bright flash of sacred light ignite U4, finally falling him. The party remains the only individuals still standing.
Through the black to the East, several figures emerge. They’re adorned in armor and recognizable to the party members. In a group of approximately five guards, leaving for the possibility of more still within the mist, two humans and three elves, wearing the same armaments of the city guard you all saw earlier upon entering the city.
One of the elves speaks, upon seeing you all. “Fear not citizens, the city guard has the situation under control”
“We can take the injured to a city healer.” The guard looked past Ura, at the rest of the scene. “You lot took out ALL of them?”
Thera no way of knowing what caused it; the retreat of the giant bat, the vanquishing of the undead, a matter of time, or something else entirely. But, you all notice that the black fog appeared to be dissipating. Still present, but it thinned enough that you could see nearly 15 feet in any direction.
To the south, the torches along the street, lit but some out of sight mechanic of the Maiden’s Bossom, were clearly visible. To the north, as it turns out that when surrounding the downed knight, the whole party practically butted up against the Arbitrator’s Spire. And the entrance to which, was directly behind the knight himself.
What was surprising though, was that the ground was not just littered with a few undead bodies more than the five dispatched by the party, but scattered around, primarily grouped into a ring around where you all found the knight, piled on top of each other, were the charred and rotting remains of nearly countless undead.

Anearis moved to assist Ura. He instantly recognized the knight and rushed at his side. "We need to get him out of here. This place is not safe."
He turns his gaze back to the sky and surveys the sky for the winged creature that could come back at any moment.

Ura‘s eyebrow twitches, but her need to level a sarcastic volley at the absentee guards is trumped by pragmatism.
“We‘ve got two men down in need of urgent care; is there a cleric or healer among you who can help?“
Uthal picks up the dwarf and begins making his way back to the inn. "You're a bit late. We had to handle this lot without you."
