Spry is now pretty badly wounded, and starting to worry about himself and his fellow adventurers. He sees Chotec's gushing leg, and steels himself against the sickness rising in his belly. He squints down the shaft of his arrow, and fires at the last dwarf.
(Spry's last arrow flies thru the air and nails the last Goblin right in the throat! The Goblin falls to its knees, clutching at his windpipe, then falls over dead.
As you all get your bearings, you look around the dark room. There's the hallway behind you from where you came, the Northern wall, where there seems to be some carvings on the wall, the Southern wall that looks plain, and the Eastern wall which looks to be covered in vines. The brazier is on a platform and is giving off some faint light.)
What do you do?
DMs note: If you want to look at something, please specify what and roll Perception or Investigation.
(Chotec walks over to the Eastern Wall and feels around the wall behind the vines. Thru sheer dumb luck, the first thing his fingers touch is the crevice where a hidden door reveals itself built into the rock wall.)
Spry dusts himself off, "Nice work everyone, even if it was a bit close for comfort."
"At least we... sorry... at least Chotec found that hidden door. In my experience hidden door get to more useful places than other doors. Anyone think we shouldn't go through it?"
Approaching the brazier, he says, "Hey, whats this funky stove?"
"Yes we were lucky in that fight and after but we once again need rest to heal and bandage our wounds Let's take a short rest here" Chotec replies while walking towards the carvings on the northern wall. investigation again 9
(Spry goes over to the Brazier and inspects it. It appears to be Bronze and has some dying embers in it, as well as small bits of meat the Goblins were using for food. Not much else besides the bedrolls and other things the Goblins used.
Chotec starts to investigate the carvings on the wall. The carvings are pretty large and seem to depict several different scenes that show what appears to be an order of knights in several battles. In one of them, the knights are shown defeating what appears to be an army of Goblins, led by a particularly vicious looking, larger Goblin. The next carving shows the knights standing victorious over a field of dead Goblin bodies. As you see one of the other depictions, they show a huge Dragon terrorizing a village, burning homes and killing innocent villagers with vicious fire. The next mural shows the knights slaying the Dragon. The knights are all shown with matching insignia on their armor and shields.
Chotec calls you all over to share her discoveries, pointing things out to you all. As the party goes along the northern wall, following and inspecting the murals, you see a large carving of a very regal-looking knight. His armor looks more intricate than the rest, making you all think he might have been the leader or founder. Underneath, the name 'Sextus Varius' is inscribed. Next to him, there is a further inscription that reads as follows:
"I pledge to serve law, protect the innocent, battle the agents of chaos, and never reveal the secrets of the Delian Order. My word is my bond, my life and honor is for the order, for this night and all nights to come."
This seems to be the extent of what is on the northern wall.)
"These engravings are pretty interesting but propably not something that we could use against the goblins. I really need a rest and to bandage my wounds so let's take a short rest."
DMs note: Short rest takes a half hour. That's fine to take one, I'll say you're all back to full health, no need to roll.
(After resting and treating their wounds, the party presses on. Spry opens the door you have found and you all go thru it.
Before you is a very large room that seems to have been carved out of a cave. The walls are natural rocks, dark gray, with 20 foot ceilings. About 20 feet in there is a huge chasm, over which a narrow stone bridge connects this edge to another edge about 100 feet away. The bridge is about 5 feet wide and looks pretty sturdy, so you all could probably all cross it at once if you all went in a line. )
I'm going to need Perception checks from all of you.

DMs note: Ilyandra has dropped out of the game for health reasons, hence the following:
Shy: 5
Spry: 16
Spry and Chotec look out at the bridge.
The bridge seems sturdy, so you're not worried about crossing it. The stonework seems pretty good. Nobody else appears to be waiting for you all on the other side.
As you inspect the bridge, you notice that about halfway across, there is a part of the bridge that looks just a little bit difference than the rest. It's kind of far away, but you can tell it's a very slightly raised plate, about 10 feet across, long enough so you couldn't really jump over it unless you were very, very athletic. As you look around a little more, you see up on the ceiling a long, thin slit.
Shy is pretty mesmerized by the depth of the chasm, so you're not paying much attention to anything else. Ilyandra walks over to the edge to look over... and trips badly, stumbling before taking a header into the chasm!!! Her screams echo all around you, fading and fading until being replaced by total silence. It all happens so suddenly, there was nothing any of you all could do. You're all stunned. Just like that, Ilyandra is gone.)
"Holy...! Ilyandra! She's gone huh. That easily. Death is really a common thing in the life of an adventurer it seems. But about that bridge. The trap it has seems pretty dangerous Spry you should be more knowledgeable about traps. How about you investigate how to disarm it without triggering it."
"Too true Chotec, death is waiting around every corner in this line of work. Poor Ilyandra, I never saw that coming. Oh well, at least I've still got you fellows. I'd be grateful if you made a special effort to stay alive."
"Now let's have a look at this suspiciously raised plate."
(Spry inspects the trap. It looks like a standard pressure plate trap: If something heavy enough goes on it, something will happen, and it probably won't be good.)
DMs note: Spry, as a Rogue, remember that you have Thief's Tools that are made for this kind of situation. If you use them, you get to add your proficiency bonus, so your roll would be d20 + 4 + 2. There are several other options, but I want to let you guys do your thing.

"If we set it off with a heavy object, it might raise an alarm elsewhere, so I think I'll try to deactivate it with my trusty thieves tools." Says Spry, pulling out a tiny pair of pliers with a flourish.
