@ithelion - for the first few steps, it does help; for the last few, your foot causes a rock to shift and it pins your leg: you are immobile and use the rest of your turn becoming unstuck!
@garnet - yes, sort of. Your speed is not impeded by the rubble, but your reactions still can be. You make it to Ithelion and help him get his leg free. With your last pull, it comes free a little too easily and you stumble and fall - Ithelion's hands reaching for you as you tumble in the hole with Daemyar! It's all Daemyar can do to avoid a falling Genasi, as he bounds out of the way. You are unharmed - fortunately - as you slow yourself somewhat.
@Garnet - do you want to roll initiative? Or go last?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rat 1 jumps from the protection of the rubble towards Daemyar, attempting to bit the hobgoblin: Attack: 7 Damage: 4 points of piercing damage, if it the bite is successful.
Rat 2 goes for the Earth Genasi and will try to bit Garnet: Attack: 20 Damage: 5
@Ithelion and @daemyar - cool. Noted. Daemyar, you enjoy advantage on your attack - if you choose to attack, Elosa notices your body tensing and she will fly at the rat to distract it.
Okay, Elosa swoops in and screeches at the rat in front of Daemyar. Distracted, the rat doesn’t even see the blade coming. Daemyar’s vicious stab impales the rat through the mouth and out the back - a rat kebab - and he flicks it off, and two halves of the rodent drop in a bloody mess.
Rat 3 moves to attack Garnet. Attack: 5 Damage: 4
Rat 4 will also attack Garnet, who is in front of Daemyar. Attack: 20 Damage: 5

Initiative: 8(depending on her order Garnet will take the following action.)
Garnet sees the rat splattered to death by Daemyar. She notices the others coming her way. Still a little disoriented she doesn't have access to her sword just yet so instead she bashes the nearest rat with her sheild.

Standing at the edge of the pit where Daemyar and Garnet fell in, Krom tosses the rope down to them and holds on to the other end, "Take the rope and climb out."
Action: Toss part of the rope down to Daemyar and Garnet: Strength check if needed, 13 Movement: None

Be excellent to each other, and roll for initiative dudes!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Assuming that Daemyar will continue to act defensively, and hoping he will climb out, Ithelion takes aim at one of the remaining rats (the wounded one) and asks Elosa for help.
(( I am note sure how this works with two different initiatives, but, perhaps...))
Ithelion readies an action to shoot the rat when Elosa swoops in to distract it.
Attack: 23 Damage: 6
(( Edit: of course...this all requires that Ithelion moves forwards so she can see a rat... there are only two visible and alive, right? If she needs to make another dex roll:
Dex: 8
If she doesn't make it, she tells Elosa to Help Garnet... ))
[OOC - I know it’s not RAW but it makes more sense to me to have Elosa go on your turn - everyone cool with that from here on out?]
@Krom - you throw the rope down and Expertly anchor it to your own body. @ Ithelion - you deftly make your way to the hole and fire. Your arrow flies true and destroys the odious beast.
The last remaining rat, seeing too many large shadows, flees into the rubble.
The rats dispatched or dispersed, you all notice small and shiny glimmers on the floor around you...
everyone roll a D12 please! And if you want out of the hole, roll a STR check.
You get out fine with Krom’s help (otherwise you wouldn’t have!)
@ithelion - the only issue I see is that if Elosa always distracts and gives you advantage every time. Maybe a roll to see if she is able to distract or if enemy sees through it?

Combat has ended, the rat has run away and isn’t coming back unless there is better odds. Scattered on the floor, you see some bones, 2 azurite gems, and 18 gp altogether. I’ll assume that between you and Garnet, you scoop up everything. You’re all topside now, a little breathless and banged up. What would you like to do?
((Yeah can’t believe I rolled max number of rats. Hehe sorry! Garnet also sustained some damage, fyi))
It’s getting to early afternoon now. If you’re going to rest just remember that where you are right now isn’t the most comfortable or safe, so you’d have to go back to the ledge (safe) or push on past the door. And if you want to recover HP, roll your hit dice here.

Garnet saw Daeymar disappear down, Krom and Ithelion move to aid him. Ithelion fell amongst the rubble.
"Daemyar?! Are you all right over there?"
She calls out to him as she moves through the rubble to where Ithelion is stuck. Garnet will help unpin Ithelion's leg and draw her shield.

Daemyar is looking rough, so he hopes to end this fast.
He stabs at the rat! Attack: 25 Damage: 19
(wow...) Daemyar will then disengage if the other one is in combat with him, and back away do Garnet is between him and rats.

[ooc - just fyi, if you wanted to you could draw your sword - it’s a free action]
You smash your shield into the rat’s face: it screeches as you hear a loud crack. The rat slides a bit to the side - it looks really hurt.

Daemyar d12 3
Daemyar will grab some shinies first. Then try to leave, and climb up. If that’s two turns, feel free to divide it up.
8 strength
and use his Saving Face feature. I think that adds 3 to that.
