Ithelion will move forward to the point where she can see inside the pit. She is down a couple of arrows, and would certainly be curious about the pouches and sword...can she retrieve any/all using mage hand?
(( I think two more dex rolls were needed to get across? ))
Dex 1: 16
Dex 2: 22
(( Hoping the rest of the floor doesn't collapse when we open the door ;-) ))

@krom - A smile thick with optimism spreads on your face as you step from the stairs warily onto the rubble. As you start making your way across, and while you have a natural affinity for all things stone, your armour and heavy boots are not your friends here. Your foot gets stuck during the first 10 feet but you manage to pull free. On the next 10 feet, again your body betrays you and the pile of rubble shifts and you fall into a cavity. Elosa shrieks at the sudden and loud disappearance of the dwarf and swoops over the hole. Luckily Krom, you are not injured by the fall (a couple bruises and scratches but nothing serious). However, as you get up and dust yourself off, you hear the tell-tale sounds of tiny feet moving near you! You look around the hole, scanning for the creature. You focus where you think the sound is loudest and you notice 2 red specks of its eyes in the shadows. It must be the rat that escaped earlier come to munch on some dwarf!
[**reminder that it is possible to climb out of the hole - it's a DC 10 STR to succeed**]
@all - Roll initiative! (
@ithelion - mage hand can pick up things weighing up to 10 lbs. So, yes, the items that you see are within that weight. As for the door, you'll have to check it out...
[so, just FYI the pit and the cavities are separate. if you fail a DEX moving across the rubble, the rubble shifts and a cavity is created - like when daemyar had this happen. the pit is the one created as a trap and is not on the same level as any cavities created by shifting rubble. maybe it helps to think of this in levels: top of the rubble where you all are walking is 10 feet above the courtyard floor. the pit trap hole is 10 feet lower.]

Ithelion initiative: 12
From the description of Krom's fall, it sounds like he is near Ithelion, so she will on her turn attack the rat, asking Elosa to distract it, then perch and watch for other threats.
Daemyar's arrow pierces the rat's skull, pinning it to the ground. It is very, very dead. Combat is over.
@krom - you're in the hole still, let me know what you want to do. Unless you throw up the rope, make a STR (athletics) check to climb out. Also, you notice 9 silver pieces among the dust and rubble in the cavity.
@all (krom after you climb out)- you stand near where krom fell in. You should all make 2 more DEX (acrobatics or athletics, your choice) checks and we'll say that gets you to the corner area of the pit trap (still open) where Daemyar and Krom noticed the walkway. As you near the open pit trap, the rat continues munching on the dead goblin, too hungry to really care about you.

Being the miserly creature that she is, if Krom does not gather the coins, Ithelion will do so -- if she can se them (using Mage Hand). She will then do the same back at the pit trap, before moving on.
(( Given she's already done 4 dex rolls, I wan't sure if she needed more, but here's two more just in case:
Dex 1: 5
Dex 2: 14
At the pit trao she gathers whatever gems/coins she sees + sword + pouches ))
@ithelion - you get stuck for a time but manage to make your way to a safe area near the pit trap. Your mage hand gathers up the coins - mark it on your sheet. At the pit, your mage hand gathers the item - the invisible hand spooking the rat for a time. You find: Scimitar, Shield, 2 arrows, 4 malachite, and 5 copper, 4 silver, and 1 gold pieces in the goblin's pouch.
[Re: dex rolls. I don't want to kill you with dex rolls but trust me when I say that there could have been way more, it being difficult terrain and your movement should have been cut in half (except Garnet)]
The rat's shrieking causes a bit of concern vividly reminded of the last time creatures came at a wounded fellow's call. Garnet gets to her feet, with the rat dead she will try to continue to the door. Skirting around the currently visible pit trap if possible.
@garnet - you do so easily. @all - So as for the door, after your dex checks, make sure you think about order and who’s going to do what, etc. The walkway is only 2 feet wide so it’s single file order.
Ithelion inspects the sword and shield for general condition, then ties the sword to her pack if possible. She will leave the shield standing next to the door...probably hard for her to carry it...
"I don't suppose anyone has need of a shield?Or a sword for that matter...barely used, just one owner..." she says with a grim smile.
She puts the smaller items in her pack for later distribution. ((Loot updated))
Ithelion watches Krom, hoping his bulky armored form can finally muster the dexterity that seems to be lacking in his every apsect. Theory. Theory and practice. This is why I was sent out here. Next time I see him, I will either kill Garastas, or buy him a drink.
"Perhaps, on the way back, we can tie a rope..." she says, her eyes never leaving Krom.
