Jalin calls Omanorin. "We thank you friend for your help against these brutes, but our business is our own, and what we do with this is none of your concern. You may rest easy knowing it will be put to good use.
(If everyone is ready to leave, he leads the wagons through the streets, taking many roundabout roads, until they reach their headquarters.)

Five percent of the people think; ten percent of the people think they think; and the other eighty-five percent would rather die than think.
An intelligent man believes only half of what he hears, a wise man knows which half. (Even Esar)

Scal has nothing else he needs to be doing. while the wagons are moving he will examine the gun he has to get familiar with it, and then will tuck it aside.
Both Cayden and Kern detect magic emitting from the gunpowder, not strong, but noticeable. Cayden recalls how the elves would use magic in their weapons to increase their power. These weapons are clearly elvish.

"Makes sense..." Kern comments to himself as he detects the magic in the powder. He looks over the guns and pulls out a hand gun of some sort, as well as seeing if there are any packets of the powder he can get as well. "Need to study this a bit more." He explains to anyone who objects or tries to stop him.
(Just looking for a non-fancy handgun. It is not something Kern sees himself using much, his magic is enough much of the time, but he would be interested in this magic he detected, and would want a gun, and powder, to toy around with it some. Plus, once he has some skill with the gun, it would be something to fall back on if his spells arn't holding up.)

The wagons arrive at the headquarters, where several rebels help unload the supplies and the wounded. One calls over to the group. "Hey, Corlinn wants to see you! She's in the hall!"
Jalin nods. "You best be going, but before you do, I'd like to thank you. You did a good job out there, they were stronger than we thought, and loses would have been heavier is it wasn't for you. Scal, you best get to the infirmary when your finished, you took a beating."
