(The posting was 5 days ago, you received the mission from your contact X, who told you that you were doing jobs for force grey and that he was in force grey too.)
Any citizen can see ropes stretching from roof to roof, assuming they are clotheslines. Little do they know they were built by Force Grey to send the Grey Hunters across the city without using the roads. Every Grey Hunter is given a map of the zip line channels.
“Looks clear,” Mardon says. “You want to go in through the roof, or ground entry, on this one? Force Gray did go through all the trouble of hanging those lines up for us.”
You see guards on the ground, the cart holding the cargo is approaching the tower, there is a large wooden crate with a strange symbol you have never seen before on it, 6 guards are standing on the cart, 4 guards are in front of the gate.
“I’m seeing 4 at the gate, six at the crate. Want me to start subtracting? I’m good to go in hot on this one. Crate’s too big to sneak off with. Got to make those guys dead first,” Mardon says quietly to the other two.
The guards are 10 ft to the gate, the gate is a portcullis, which was raised when the other guards went in. The other guards who went in seemed to go into the tower. You are on a roof opposite of the tower, if a straight line, you are about 30 ft away from the guards. (The heavy rain is covering you, so they can't see you, but you can see them for they have torches, set ablaze with green flame.)
Marden points down to the gate guards, assuming that he and his allies are unseen and could fire on them, catching them by surprise. “Click click click?” He asks while mining crossbow shots, waiting to confirm the whole group is alright with opening fire and leaping into the raid, and don’t wish to propose a more complex approach.
OOC: Would you have us roll initiative, DM? How do you want to handle surprise rounds? Advantage before they are aware of our presence? And if so, on just our first attack or all attacks before they act? Once I know how you’d prefer to handle the mechanics we can roll.

"Seems easy enough." Rubin says glancing at the posting. "Find and retrieve." he shrugs and nods to his two companions. "You guys ready to go?"

Through the heavy rain, you hear the rattle of a wagon and horses neigh down below
“Let’s get ‘er done,” Mardon says. He looks for any signs of a lookout or any rooftop archers.

OOC: I seem to have forgotten how to roll from my phone, can someone roll 1d20 for Madden’s perception? 1d20+3

No, you don't see anything through the rain across to the roofs, the coast is clear.
“Looks clear,” Mardon says. “You want to go in through the roof, or ground entry, on this one? Force Gray did go through all the trouble of hanging those lines up for us.”
The lines are not connected to the tower, the guards seemed to have cut the lines. (sorry for no mentioning that.)
After gazing a bit longer Mardon frowns. “Wait, no. Looks like they counted on that. Lines are down. Looks like we’re keeping our feet on the ground.”
OOC: Mardon did not see any outside guards or snipers on the roof?

As the cart reaches the crate, 2 guards get off, leaving with another 2 guards at the gate into the tower.
OOC: What is the distance to the gate guards? Do the interior guards appear to have a vantage to see the gate guards as far as we can tell?

Grafyr sweeps his duster clear of his wand in its holster. “Time to bring a reckoning... I’ll take the front two.”
