Upon taking a bite of her improved meal, her face scrunches clearly debating her opinion on the change, "Magic is ******* weird." She continue to take small bites, still unsure whether she likes the new taste or not.
As Talinian bows she says "No, need for such... Ummm... Formalities." She then curtsies "And what is this... Treasure?" She asks, then digs into her bosom, and pulls out a few pieces of bacon, she then offers you each a piece.
Keep in mind that Talinian must tell the truth. I would also like to share that Bali is under the effects also.
"Thank you, Bali, but no," Talinian declines her offer with a polite smile. Suddenly, his smile becomes hard and much less polite, his sharp canines prominent. "Where is Eris, the elf-maiden. She is the treasure we seek."
"Hahaha the crazy old man lost his daughter." Bali busts out laughing. "Or is it his Gekk friend? No mater. I do not have her, I do not know where she is." She pauses talking and as Talinian stats to speak again she speaks up again. "But I can find out!" And ends with a cackled laugh. "You see..." And she looks around, and waves you all in closer then continues in a hushed wisper. "He gave her an amulet to stop others from scrying. But a few months ago I caught her out of the tower and I" she stops wispering and in your face goes to a yell, "dispelled magic on it. Hahahaha." She steps back to the door of the hut. "Come inside, I've got a long story to tell you, you all look hurt and then, I can find the girl for you, and perhaps help you all heal a little."
As you walk into the hut it explodes open, from this small hut turns into a long hallway with doors alternating every other side 5 feet apart. Each door looks different from one another, about 300 feet down the hall Bali opens a door on the left, it opens into a small sitting room, with a fireplace on a wall, a medium sized table that the 4 of you would be able to easily door around, she motions for you to sit. She moves to the fireplace and grabs a teapot that is sitting next to it, she spins her hand over the pot, and water falls from her hand into it. She then puts the teapot over the fire then moves to a cupboard, opens it up and pulls out some herbs, and puts them into the teapot as well. She then sits down and starts to talk.
"Many years ago..." She waves her hand in the air and the room fades away, and in its place you are in a wooded area and you see a MUCH younger Bali, she has her same staff in her hand, and wearing beautiful blue and purple robes, and a fancy hat, next to her is a half-orc wearing black studded leather armor, with a pair of matching daggers, a short fat human man, with a flute in his hands, wearing very flamboyant clothing, and lastly a female day elf, quite possibly the largest elf you have ever seen in your life. Not the tallest you have ever seen, standing just under 5 feet, but just about as wide. You can see her muscles due to the lack of clothing she is wearing (Think Female body builder) in her hands is a huge great axe. The four individuals look to be happy. Then you hear Bali speak again
“Once I was a wild adventurer like you, we didn’t have the guild to back us, but we did ok on our own, the four of us had several adventures together, and made new friends and lost friends.”
You see a Blue dragonborn come into to the picture, wearing no armor, riding on a giant lizard, then a half-elf, with an unholy symbol branded into his forehead, and the landscape changes to a huge city the half-orc fades, as does the half-elf as the landscape again changes to a mountain range, then an old half-elf wearing robes, clutching a holy symbol come into the group, and out almost just as soon. The landscape changes to the ocean as the fat human man fades and is replaced with a night elf, welding a glaive, and he then fades out as the landscape changes to a swamp that is when a tall thin day elf, wearing wizard robes showing him to be a teacher from Golin and Oriteath, at his side is a framilur Gekk at his side.
“We all meet Anneleth and, I could not have been happier, that Anneleth and Ilmindel fell in love.” You see the two day elfs embrace one another, and kiss, you then see Ilmidel’s (The day elf barbarian) stomach grow, and then her and Anneleth hold a baby in their arms.
“But, all good things do not last forever.”
The baby is then put into the hands of another day elf woman, who looks a lot like Ilmindel, and a human man, next to the couple is 3 half-elf children. Everything fades and the group stands in front of a cave in a mountain and from the inside of the cave slowly walks out a dragon with blue scales. You see a fast paced battle during this battle you see the dragon breath ice over Ilmidel, then the dragon stomps onto her frozen form, and it shatters into millions of pieces. You then see Anneleth go into an insane rage blasting the dragon with spell after spell, and the dragon falls dead. And the image fades back to the sitting room.
“This is why Anneleth is the way he is with his daughter, MY god daughter.” She gets up and grabs the teapot, and pours you each a cup of tea. The team has wet crushed bits of herbs in it.
Olivia sits staring at the tea, speaking softly when the woman finishes her story. "I really never will understand how you're doing this, but it added a nice visualization to your story which was nice. Maybe you should start a business of visualizing stories, I bet you'd make a killing."
She moves her chair close to Olivia, get close face to face and whispers, "I can only show little bits, the fat man, he didn't have much time left after he started to teach me his ways."
(I went back and and edited my last post seeing as I missed a few important things.)
Olivia leans back in her chair instinctively trying to pull herself away from the woman, "Well that's a shame... You mentioned you could scry on her, if i heard you correctly. Would there be anything you need us to do for this? And what do you want from this? Do you just want her to get away from her father, or is it something else?"
Korba takes his tea, and simply holds it in his hands for the time being, too wrapped up in thoughts and questions he wants to get answered. He says "I don't mean to be rude. Bali right? May we call you Bali? But, Anneleth's little frog servant mentioned that he suspected you might have taken his daughter to force a meeting with him. It seemed far fetched, but we have few other leads so felt bound to investigate. May I ask what happened between you two to cause you to go from being companions to him actually thinking you would kidnap his daughter?
"What do I want for her, well to be happy, that's why I've been trying to meet with Anneleth, to try and get him to understand reason. She is not a little girl anymore." At this a squirrel comes into the room from a hole in the wall. It jumps on to Valin's shoulder.
This squirrel looks a little different, it's ears are a little longer than any squirrel you've ever seen. He looks almost eternally young, his fur is a golden blond, but mostly golden color. And then it speaks, with a voice that does not seem to fit the creature, it's deep and raspy. "Bali, your dinner is caught, the unseen man is preparing it, it's a boar today, more than enough for your friends to stay."
Bali looks to you all and says "well that works fine, it should be ready in about an hour, and my spell is in a crystal and it takes an hour to finish.". She gets up and moves to a different part of the cupboard and she pulled out a crystal ball, and along with it a stand, she brings it to the table and sets it down.
"Up to 8 other people can put their hand on the crystal to see what I see, would you like to join me?"
"Why would he think so... untrustingly... of you do you think?" Korba says, forgetting about the tea as he's now very curious about the orb, as he stands up to join her in viewing through it.
Olivia stands up and follows Korba sheepishly, staring at the orb she turns to her companions. "Are there any side effects to touching random magic orbs you think?"
"On a random one, there might be, but this one is not random. I can use this up to 9 times a day, or have up to 8 other people scry with me once, and everything in the middle."
She begins the ritual. After almost an hour of waiting, Bali motions to you all to join her, and when you place your hands on the crystal

your eyes draw into the crystal ball, once inside the ball you see the hallway of Bali’s hut, you then go out of the hut, and head in a northwestern direction. You speed your way through the woods, into and out of the town of Trewesbury, on a path, off the path and into another town, your vision zooms through the streets of this town, then you come to the door of a tavern, The Frightened Flask, the door swings open and there you see a troop of bards playing a slow song on stage, and then your vision finally focuses in on an day elf woman, she is beautiful and looks a lot like the visions of Ilmidel, dancing around and smiling. She looks to one of the members of the troop and gives him a big smile, and then blows him a kiss. The vision fades away.
Bali then speaks up in a soft voice somewhere between sad, and proud. “Well, I don’t know what to say. Dinner should be ready soon. Would you like to join me? You may rest here for the evening, and head back to town in the morning if you even wish.”
When the vision ends Olivia takes her hand off the orb and lets out a deep sigh, "So I guess our first lead was correct." She turns to the woman, "So is that it? Nothing else you're interested in doing with her."
"I mean I would love to be able to spend time with her, but I am sure she wouldn't want to spend any with me, I am sure her father has filled her head that I am evil at this point. You know what, I would like to give her some gold to help her find her own way. Before you leave I'll give you a bag, if you could deliever it to her."
Olivia turns to look at her companions, trying to discern their opinions on the situation before speaking, "Um.. I'm not sure we're headed that way. Truth be told we were hired by the guild to find her and bring her back to him but... after seeing this I think that might be out the window. If you ask me at least, I think we should sit down and talk about what we do next, surely if we simply say we failed and we'd like a new quest I'm sure a new group would attempt to find her. The reward was rather steep..."
"Our job is to bring her back. It's isn't up to us to determine if that's what she wants." Korba says, after listening quietly to Olivia's opinion, adding "Though I would like to know what the Guild would advise us to do if she refuses to return. I doubt they'd like us to kill those she's with and bring her back by force in their name." He then turns to Bali and again asks "Why would Anneleth think so... untrustingly... of you do you think?" still curious of why she was considered a suspect in the first place. Finally he says to everyone present "While I'd love to rest here for the evening, we shouldn't waste time, as they are only getting further away each day, and we need to talk with our employers to see what they'd advise with this new information." He then remembers his tea and drinks as it's been a while since they've been waiting and he's become thirsty.
