Arbon charges forwards to the two assailants, casting a spiritual weapon to come down on one of them as he does. He then follows through with a upward swing of his lit mace, attempting to catch the creature in its jaw.
After the first enemy falls Grahl takes a quick look at the wound it caused feeling the blood flow out but the adrenaline rise inside him. As he looks to get back to the remaining enemy he sees movement with his darkvision giving him enough time to covers his face with one arm as the poison spray flies towards him.
A second later he swings the arm back seeing small drops of poison fly of his arm further increasing his anger. Bah, Coward!he scoffs at the enemy still hidden in darkness at the time. Wanting a piece of that creature Grahl focusses back onto the other one in front of him, knowing he has to deal with him first.
(in case Arbon already killed it Grahl will try to move towards the other creature first)
He grabs hold of his axe with both hands again bursting into rage and swings it upward from the ground in a diagonal motion towards the creature standing in front of him.
Movement: none if the one in front of him still lives, otherwise to the remaining one shooting the poison spray Bonus action: Rage (has taken damage so rage is a go) Action: Reckless Axe Attack: 25 Damage: 20 (with rage and divine fury) Bless: Bonus to hit 2

Arbon charged forward bringing light all about the cavern and revealing the poisonous caster! Just as he did, his mighty hammer slammed down into the second of the dagger wielding creatures, knocking it unconscious. As he did so, Onyx was able to redirect his eldritch magics upon the Poison cloud maker, but not quick enough. The blast collides with the rock wall to the side, causing some rocks to fall down near it! 15 (creature failed to dodge rocks, took: 1 damage) Grahl reaches back as the creature suffers Onyx's rock fall, and aims for a lethal blow. The monster has enough time to turn around and screech out horribly before Grahl's ax splits its face in half, killing it instantly. (Combat over)
"Hmm. It's almost like they're trying to collapse the mines?" Onyx chuckled. "That would be interesting if these fiends actually have that level of power. Guess we'll see?"
He thought a moment. "Maybe we should pick up the pace though... just in case." With that, he stepped past the downed opponents and headed toward the cavern's exit.
Arbon nods and ensures that his mace has light on it, "We should move, for sure, but not recklessly. I wouldn't like for the cavern to fall down upon us, that's for sure."
When Arbon and Grahl go forward, they are able to see a much wider tunnel still leading uphill into the darkness. As Onyx and Chazrael approach further, they too see the second tunnel opening in Onyx's torch light.
For those who check out the second tunnel:
At the back of the tunnel, there appears to be a small treasure hoard where the creatures must have collected the dead man's items. Chainmail, a warhammer, a holy amulet, a shield, and, finally, a book. There is also a small chest with a keyhole absent the key but it appears much more sinister.
There are fangs above and below the keyhole.
For those who continue about the main tunnel, it goes on further and further still. The scratching and red etchings continue on further down, leading all the way to a ladder going up...
There is a cleanness in the air nearby it. A hole in the ceiling waited to be ascended into, wide enough just barely for the largest of you to squeeze through. The tunnel is long, and dark. Standing beneath it, you hear the push and pull of rotating air coming from it. It feels warm then cold respectively.
"Why avoid the chest?" Arbon says as he looks back to Onyx, who stands looking down the second tunnel. "We could just smash it to open it, could we not? I find that works just as well in many cases." He laughs heartily at this last remark.
A closer looked revealed the box was made of some kind of pine wood. It has an oily exterior, something akin to sap but not sticky. It smells of iron though it is gold in color. Its blackened exterior and metal cross braces keeping it well secured from fire damage. You believe that, yes, it could be possible to smash this object.
Whether or not you would break what's inside, is unknown...
(Depending on exactly what you a trying to determine, maybe. Religion, Arcane, and, History rolls would reveal information that you know of connected to this box.)
Recalling a dusty tome written far after the events by a mad alchemist blind in one eye, you remember the story of Twelvetrees.
Eons ago, several powerful Tanar'ri tricked a dozen astral devas-each a powerful agent of a good deity- into visiting the Abyss for a council of peace. The Upper Planes had watched nervously as the former slaves overthrew their Obyrith masters, and several celestial powers sought to play a role in the emerging abyssal landscape. After a brief challenge to the devas' masters, the demons bound the envoys to the towering trunks of twelve mighty trees in a desolate layer, sacrificing them in a vile arcane ritual that forever infused the layer with evil energies.
The devas shattering death-screams still haunt the layer know as Twelvetrees. A massive basalt platform now commemorates the site of the original sacrifice, ringed by sickly pines that still ooze spiritual slime in an echo of the blood spilled by the ancients. Tanar'ri from throughout the abyss make the pilgrimage to Twelvetrees in memory of their defiant ancestors, many hoping to use the platform to infuse their own infernal plots and rituals.
In the picture beside the legend, you can remember seeing a demonic cleric placing the heart of a unicorn in a box on top a basalt platform. The box had significance in the ritual that was described in the text below the picture, but, that you cannot remember.
(In short: Try as hard as you might, while you are positive this box is a container for an unholy offering in a powerful ritual, you are unsure of what exactly the end goal of that ritual is. )
(Grahl con save with bless 26) )
Grahl shrugs off the toxin with no ill effects, leaving the lone feathery creature to squawk and choke violently!
Arbon charges forwards to the two assailants, casting a spiritual weapon to come down on one of them as he does. He then follows through with a upward swing of his lit mace, attempting to catch the creature in its jaw.
Spiritual Weapon Attack: 20 Damage: 5
Mace Attack: 14 Damage: 8
Onyx, frustrated that he couldn't target their opponent hidden in the darkness, decided to focus on the visible foe instead.

As the third falls, you once again feel a rumble throughout the cavern as before combat, though not the mysterious sound.

Chazrael nods and begins racing toward the exit.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Grahl nods to Arbon Yes, Grahl always carefull, others should do same. He will moves forward trying to see whats ahead in the tunnel.

Onyx raised an eyebrow as he peered into the opening to the second tunnel.
"Clerical gear," he stated flatly, "or possibly paladin. Might even be a spellbook. Anyone interested?"
He glanced a second time at the chest. "Might want to avoid the chest there, though, unless you're just looking for a challenge."
