Fallan made her way down into the somewhat deep scar of the rift where the ropes led down to the floor, while holding the rope in her other hand, the rift itself having enough of an incline while Fallan herself didn't weight very much making it relatively easy to get down, though more difficult as she, for whatever reason, held the rope over the rift while descending. The floor here was mostly packed dirt and stone, that looked like it used to belong as part of something else. Various piles of rubble lay strewn about methodically, as though people had been searching through the area and putting aside the stone into piles like people place garbage for one reason or another. Some ancient bodies lay beneath various pieces of rubble the bones exposed revealing they had died long ago while wearing their armor.
Now at the bottom of the rift, its clear that near the ropes had already been sifted through while the further from the iron-fitted ropes was still untouched mostly, likely due to the undead attacks.

Fallan looks around a little longer with the aid of Rose's vision blessing, and as much as she wanted to look around and see if there were any goodies somewhere in the pile, she also knew she had a time limit on how long she could see, so she decided to stick to her original plan. Heading north towards the boulder hanging in the air, she took stock of the environment in the northern passage.
Cautiously she puts her foot on some of the piled up rubble.. though some of the rubble starts to shift, but Fallan manages to maintain her grip, and as the rocks settle beneath her feet, and then she begins to climb up. About halfway up, the loose edge, it starts to crumble more.. but having seen that it was wont to fall apart, she had prepared herself for that eventuality... and when it did, she jumped up for the ledge, just managing to grab it. and then pull herself up into the passageway. She was about to shout to the others that she had made it up, and a small noise escapes her throat, before she clamps it off. with both hands, nearly slipping back over the edge - nearly.
As she turns around she see's that this passageway is barely four feet high and is obstructed by rounded boulders and pebbles. It might have been a streambed, though no water flows here now. Fallan quietly moves with as much haste as possible. And confident in her silence, she presses forward while her vision remains, knowing the time taken just to get here ate up a large portion of it, and as she meanders to the other end of the old streambed, it opens up into a larger area.. A narrow ledge overlooks a large cavern that houses a surging, seething body of water. The rhythmic booming heard throughout the mines is louder here. At regular intervals, a fresh surge of water funnels into this chamber and slams against the wall just below the ledge. The echo suggests that this cave might be one arm of a much larger cavern to the northeast.
It seems this is the cause of the echoes throughout the cave that it's so named after. But here the sound was nearly deafening, though luckily that would also provide cover for her own footfalls - not that she needed it with +8 Stealth- - and she pauses, recalling the map so as to not lose her bearings...
Unfortunately its been a while since she saw the map and the memory was fading, as she had only looked at it briefly, and after playing a game of 'eenie meenie' she chooses to take a 'right' leading her down a carved tunnel path that's almost entirely straight, with a slight turn near the end, and she finds herself in the under-area looking up at a massive, immobile water-wheel. This triggers her memory that she had accidentally backtracked ever so slightly, and cost herself time. Doubling back, following the un-cut stone wall to her right, she finds a curving set of stairs heading up.
Once at the top, the sound of the waves wanes, and once more she feels she should probably check her steps to ensure she was quiet... and once more succeeding to become a whisper on the breeze. And in front of her is a large area that's cut cleanly with clear, dwarven precision. It seemed to have a side door close to where she was coming up from, though the building itself seemed set apart from anything else she had seen within the cave, it's design was more eloquent and demanding attention. Choosing to press forward, if only to confirm that this was, in fact, the place they were looking for, she enters the side door. Though it was quietly opened, it did manage a single creak from age as she pushed her head inside. Within the room, it seemed as though it were a storage place, as it was filled with a myriad of dwarven-carved weapons and armors.
Fallan thought to herself that this may simply be an armory of some sort, and pushed through, having seen another door just on the other side of the room. Cautiously walking to it, she then puts her hand on the handle, and turns... Though the door makes a grating noise, somehow the creature inside fails to notice it, perhaps too distracted by what it was doing, but in front of Fallan was some large, monstrosity facing the front entrance. it's body a mottled green, with four odd limbs sticking out with what appeared to be eyeballs, the room however did have an eldritch-green flame flickering in what appeared to be some sort of forge.... it was only by pure luck that it didn't see her before she closed the door, her little heart eating in terror before she pulled back, having stayed only long enough to peer about the immediate area of the room.
Finally, she slips out the side door once more, and, having seen nothing on her way here, once she's in the area of the crashing waves, she bolts as fast as she can, trying to beat the clock. She manages to make it just to the area where the old streambed she had entered was.. when the world went pitch dark around her. Her heart beat faster in her chest but she had manages to make it this far and all she had to do was hug the walls... and be cautious of a final step.... So she slowly, slowly moved along trying not to fall, all the while listening for anything that might be following her in the dark... and eventually she made it to the edge.... but from there she couldn't see anything other than endless black all around her, so she sat down, to maintain her balance, while waiving her arms, hoping to get someone's attention, someone who didn't have a limit on their vision... She was just barely at a visible angle.

Perception 19
Rose curses to herself when she sees Fallan flailing about. Come on guys, follow me. She whispers while getting as close to Fallan as they can. Rose will make sure to grab everyone and slowly guide them. If they can get within 19ft of Fallan she will grant everyone the blessing of sight again. If not Rose will utilize her faire fire to cause objects around her to glow with light blue flame, even allowing it to surround her to provide some small amount of light for her friends and hopefully for Fallan as well.

Rose rope check DC 10: 19
Rose approaches the rubble after slipping down the rope with ease to the floor twenty feet below, moving over to where she see's Fallan flailing helplessly and silently. Obviously Fallan hears this noise and while she was pretty sure it was Rose, being unable to see, she still panicked a little. Rose however took the initiative, and felt it better to wait to cast her sight once more for when it could hit everyone.
Suddenly the entire pathway that Fallan had taken, a semi-sheer cliff at just enough of an incline to be climbable with some difficulty became visible as a wreath of blue flames. Rose herself also, not even trying to resist the effects, begins to glow with that same hue. The scar now illuminated with an eerie hue and dim lighting, making it possible to see.
I will pause my botting at this point for the others since at this point they have a choice to move forward stay put, go back, search, etc.
"Whew! Now that's a cat burglar's nightmare! And I ought to know, after what happened at...." Fallan shakes her head as if to clear it of negative thoughts when the rocks around her almost explode in eerie glowing light, that after the pitch dark and wall following seems like the welcome arrival of the morning sun. Figuring that this might, if she was lucky, be the handiwork of her friends, she continues to wave and attempt to reunite with her team.
Fallan! Rose calls out in a loud whisper, waving to get her attention, hoping she could see the glow of the flames around her. Can you get to us? If you get close I can fix your vision.
Seeing the eerie flames surrounding Rose caused Fallan to do a double-take, concerned that the flaming skull was back, or something equally unnatural and scary was nearby. But then, thinking about "unnatural", the hobbit scrunched up her brow and attempted to force a thought at the silhouette before her. "Shhhhh! We don't need to alert anything around here - especially what I think I saw in the room your map says we want to get to. I think I found the forge, but it's guarded - and not by something easy to take out! We need to get together to plan how to take out this eye-stalk-waving floatie thing in the green glow near the forge. Got any ideas? Head down here, and I'll show you the way - it isn't easy. Those with rope may need to get it out."
With that, Fallan will wait in place, but turn to watch in the direction from which she had come, lest she be wrong about thinking she snuck away unnoticed!
“ALRIGHT ENOUGH OF THIS!” Root grown frustrated with not being able to see he will go in his bag and get two torches out sparking each. “Alright now where is everyone?”

Incident roll: 20
Minor fall damage: 3
Fallan see's the bursting light but senses no heat and ultimately spots Rose, as well as faintly seeing Gwen as she followed not too far behind Rose. Root, frustrated with the constant going in and out of their vision, yells out just a bit and echoes softly through the cavern just before bell slaps him on the shoulder to answer his question. The slight yell echoes through the area several times before being absorbed by the continual sounds of water crashing just down the old streambed. And after several long, moments, likely filled with tension no other sounds are heard, nothing indicating that it had been heard as he finally lights the torches illuminating the area farther. on his side.
Bell inevitably moves forward and joins Rose and Gwen in the dim light of the Faerie Fire. Gwen had kept a lookout towards the shadowed areas of the scar, but no sound or shadow betrayed the existence of anything and after a long moment, she relaxed -a little-
Well guys.. We saw Fallan climb up this.. it didn't look that hard... maybe we should just try climbing it one at a time? She says, stepping forward onto the now-easily visible inclined-rubble. She easily makes it up the first portion of the loose rock, but just as she starts up the second half of it she slips down and falls hard on her back, landing awkwardly and hissing out Ah.. ok.. not a great Idea...
Anyone can attempt to climb this, with a DC 10, then 15 (both ATHL) roll made within the same post. Or alternative ways to climb may be tried.
Seeing the trouble that Gwen had with the rubble incline, Fallan unrolls the length of rope she has and tosses one end down to those in the bottom of the scar. Again, concentrating fully, she tries to push thoughts at all those below, in the hopes they will "hear" without causing any noise. "Grab on and I'll help pull you up. This shouldn't be that hard if I help. Who's first?"
Mechanically - that should make your climbing (ATHL) check with ADVantage! :)
Gwen rubs her back where the rock had torqued it grunting in mild pain, taking another look out into the darkness, in case she might see something this time, but she didn't. Grunting as she got up she stretched to loosen the now-tense muscles, and said Mmph.. yeah... I should have considered asking you for that in the first place... Allright let me go first, since I don't think you'll be able to pull Root up yourself considering the size difference... this time, taking hold of the rope and pinning her feet to the rubble as much as she could, she makes it to the solid ledge and pulls herself over it. Allright, lets keep this going, who's next? she says, grabbing the rope, though *not* forcing Fallan off, just offering 'weight' assistance.
Rose sighs at the shout but doesn't complain. She too was frustrated and ready to move on from this cave in general. Even Fallans mention of some sort of eye creature in the room with the forge didn't phase her, besides they knew there would be trouble anyway. Rose easily climbs up with the help provided and turns to help the next person up.
Bell goes next, and the strain is visible on her face as she attempts to pull herself up, strength not being her 'strong suit,' but with the assistance from above, she's able to manage... hopefully.

"Ok, all together again - always a good thing! Glad to have you back to protect me" Fallan smirked in the flickering light of Root's torch. "I'm not sure what that thing was, or is, but I am betting we aren't sneaking up on it, so the torch should be fine, I guess. Anyone have a plan for what we should do here?" The halfling starts to pull up and coil up her rope again as she looks around the group for comments.

Gwen chimes in a little oddly since the description of the creature made her wince once she had made it up the rope and the others had joined. Pondering as both Fallan and Bell consider things, and speak their minds. Well.. this is just a thought.. but aren't creatures like that usually atleast semi-intelligent? Like some summoned horror, or perhaps somehting similar. I know this goes against common sense... However... maybe we can send someone in to try to convince it we belong here. Think back to the skull, it kept saying 'My masters are coming' and 'the masters this, and that' which means this thing could just be another thing that guards the mines, a summoned guardian. Maybe.. if we atleast try, we can avoid a fight.
