Kazimir slides in beside shrek, hand resting on shrek’s shoulder, “What my very eloquent friend is trying to say is that we swiftly took care of the town’s mephit problem.”

"Mephit problem?" the duergar raises an eyebrow. "Ach, that musta been why some buildings were on fire, and such. Was too busy with me work ta notice. Thanks lads and ladies! Now, if you'll excuse meh, i've got a letter to read."
Which he does, and his eyes go super wide. "WOT THE-" he says. "Oh, that Nezznar, always a flair for the dramatic. This is fantastic! A new combination of elementally infused powders that will produce a more stable reaction between the fabric of the Material Plane and the Elemental Planes, effectively keeping the elemental powers more focused and lowering the risk of extraplanar creatures tumbling into the Material Plane! Ouwh! I've got to try it! Quick! Hand me a half ounce of smelling salts!"
Shrek just stands there with a dumbfounded stare on his face. "Ummmm. Huh? Sign here please." as he hands the duergar a delivery record scroll and quill, whilst scratching his head in confusion.
Lucas, once the fighting is done, quickly retrieves what arrows he can, before catching up to the group. He pulls up his hood to cover his ears and head as he already begins to feel the cool wind nipping at his skin and doesn't really pay much attention to the client, since the rest of the group seems to have it handled, instead, watching the town and the area where the Mephits attacked from, just in case more start pushing in.
Ava cleans her ax and sits back watching what everyone else is doing. She eyes the dark dwarf with suspicion and doesn't move to help. Muttering under her breath, those near Ava hear, "Drow and Duergar are never good news. Just leave em. He can find his own salt."
Kai will give a slight nudge to Kaz with his elbow. "Wanna help me find this guy his salts? Two heads are better than one is what I always say!"

Having been momentarily confused by the "colder than the winter outside comment", Vetis finds said tube and hands it to him, making an effort to keep ice from shooting out of her fingers.
We are not firing ice at him for an innocent comment.
Colder than winter? COLDER than winter? I AM WINTER, YOU IGNORANT LITTLE DUERGAR, AND-
"That's exactly what I needed, lass." Griggle nearly explodes in excitement. "You definitely have a future as an alchemist assistant. Here we go!"
When Griggle throws the elemental substances into the furnace and says a few mystical words, the furnace flares with violet flame and then cools to a tiny white fire. Griggle hops about joyously and shouts the name of the Black Spider to the heavens. He places the payment of 5 gp before you all for delivering the letter, and also gives you a bonus of three bars of solid adamantine as a personal thanks to the group.
"I'm no blacksmith, but maybe you'll find some use for them elsewhere in your journey."
He then returns to his work and does his best to ignore any further interruptions from you.
Shrek got his delivery signature, so he's happy. Not understanding a word that was babbled afterwards didn't concern him in the slightest, as his mind had already wandered off, thinking of the next delivery.
He could be found waiting impatiently outside while the rest of the crew chatted with the weird mystic inside, tapping his oversized boot in time with a little ditty that happened to enter his mind, taking up both of his braincells. He spent a few minutes massaging the new welts and bruises that he collected from those mean old mephits, dreaming of the long nap he was going to take when the boarded the ship and moved on to their next delivery destination.
