Minuteman McDerpyhat said, "Since when do delivery people invade people's ho-"
Another minuteman interrupted after looking inside the lodge and ordering those inside to get out. He turned to McDerpyhat. "Oh, for ****s sake, Albert, the sooner we let them go, the sooner we can get back to drinking. They're just dumb ass delivery people."
Minuteman McDerpherp turns to you all and rolls his eye that would make even Books jealous. "Fine. Get the **** outta here, you idiots." he waves you away. The rest of the minutemen laugh, making comments that are not in your favor.
The man and woman who live in the house give you all dirty looks, especially for the fact that half their fine china is broken on the floor. They go back inside the lodge and slam the door.
Percival decides not to take his chances and just leads everyone back to the boat. "I can understand your wish to protect yourselves and get revenge on those who attacked you, but generally speaking, breaking into a stranger's home causes more trouble than it solves. Doubly so when you break their fine china. Perhaps next time, if there must be a next time, go with a more delicate approach. Diplomacy is useful."
SO YOU HAVE BEEN PAYING ATTENTION WHEN I ADVISE YOU. VERY GOOD, PERCIVAL.

Shrek looks blankly at Percival, and responds back with a confused voice "What is .... diplo .... dipl ... diplo-m.a.c.y?" He stands there with a greatly confused look on his face, and begins to scratch his butt with one hand while rooting around in his nose with his other.
Continuing, "Where's Shreks share of delivery money?"
Kaz chuckles to theirself after the crazy rat incident, wiping a tear from their eye as they stand up and walk with the group. “Relax, my very serious Bosun (security chief). Some of these towns never have anything exciting happen in them. Consider this a little, how you say, improvisational theater.”
Kaz slows down a bit to keep pace with Lucas, turning their emerald green eyes on the flustered navigator, “Did you find the wererat, or did it slip away in the confusion?” Kaz will listen intently to what the ranger has to say before adding, “I would very much like it if you and Percy could thoroughly search the ship once we set sail to make sure no stowaways have gotten on board. Thank you, my friend.”

“Lost it again...”Kai groans, his shoulders slumping in defeat as they walk their way back to the boat. “I get breaking into someone’s house isn’t good, but what if they got hurt?! Then what?! And now since the thing got away they can hurt someone else! I get we’re just delivery people, but...”Kai sighs, frustrated. “Whatever. I’m gonna go make dinner I guess.” The genasi then drags his feet to the kitchen and begins working on dinner as promised.

PROLOGUE ADVENTURE, CHAPTER FOUR: EVIL ON THE ICY SEA
According to the manifest, you are now to travel back to Fireshear to dock and prepare for an overland journey to the town of Hundelstone, where your next delivery will take place—a parcel for one named Jarlaxle Baenre. It's going to take about a day by sea to get there, so for me to begin this week's encounter, let me know who is doing what, and where, on the ship.
Ava follows the group back to the ship watching for rats. Once there she will spend her time making sure the ship is in good condition, no dwarf wants to go swimming in the icy water. As the evening comes, Ava pulls out a set of old bone dice. "Anyone for a friendly game of dice?"
Vetis entertains herself by watching the waves most of the day. She also carries on several internal discussions with the cold, during about half of which she slips and starts talking out loud, so that the tiefling sort of generally looks like she's talking to herself, likely mildly freaking out the rest of the crew.
Kaz will be making sure the ship sails safely, checking on rigging, examining the hull, just making sure the ship is still in good condition from the bitter climate. Once they are sure everything is ok, Kaz will pop down into the galley to check on Kai.

Seeing the giant rat earlier, simpleton Shrek translates that to mean that rats have invaded the ship. So, he’ll spend the first day at sea unpacking and repacking all the shipboard provisions, making sure that the rats didn’t get into anything.
Kai had been in the middle of putting in some biscuits in the oven when Kaz pokes their head in and offers some assistance. “Oh, uh, sure! If you’re not busy anyway,”Kai says as he dusts his hands off from any residual flour. “I’m thinking of a stew for tonight’s dinner. Mom used to make it all the time when the winter months came. It was somethin’ nice and hearty to warm our bellies, one of my favorites too!”As he speaks, he is setting out some vegetables on the side; potatoes, carrots, onions, etc. “Hope it comes out alright. Don’t wanna disappointment me mum, haha.”
“So, uh, if you could peel and cut these for me that would be fire. Heh. I’m gonna work on seasoning and cooking the meat.”

Vetis, as you gaze icily at the sea, you can see something approaching the Icebreaker under the water. Your cold ass ticker skips a beat as you realize a massive skeletal shark is swimming towards the ship on an intercept course.
Vetis sits up, shouting to the rest of the crew, "UNDEAD APPROACHING! It's a shark," she adds as she rises, ice particles forming in the air around her as she touches a finger to the silver snowflake pendant around her neck.
“Understood!” Kaz responds as they put on an apron and gets to work peeling. “And I am certain you always do your mom proud.” The elf says with a wink.
at the sound of Vetis, Kaz, alarmed rushes up deck, motioning to Kai, “Duty calls! Let’s go!”
“Ah, shit, ****—“Kai curses as he quickly takes the pot off the stove, making sure to turn it off before rushing over to where Vetis had called them to attention. “W-what the heck is that thing?!”

Lucas, after the events of the last delivery, is sulking slightyl, both in part to his failure to catch the wererat assassin after she tried to attack them twice, but also cause of the trouble his chase caused despite not bringing any results. Before leaving the town, he would have offered the old couple 5 GP as grievance for his rushed actions, and returned to the boat, sighing often as he replayed the actions leading to the assassin's disappearance in his head.
At that point in time, Lucas was still a bit blue, sighing as he manned the wheel of the ship, keeping his eyes on alert for any potential dangers a he navigated the ship. When he hears the cries of a undead shark, his eyes go wide and he stays with the wheel, calling out to Vetis, "Starboard or Port side!? Stern or bow!?" He prepared to take evasive maneuvers based of the direction of the shark.
Shrek is deep in the bowels of the ship, head fully inside a pile of crates stuffed to the gills with food stuffs and sundry goods required for sustaining the crew of the ship, when he heard hollering from above. Grumbling to himself, "What now..." he mumbled as he quickly bound up the stairs to the main deck to see what all the hubbub was about.
