After about 7 minutes of standing helplessly around, Wendigo's muscles unfreeze and he's able to move properly again. Nothing eventful happens for the rest of that travel period, or while you're resting either.

Nothing unusual happens while you're traveling, although Wendigo and Brio occasionally hear echoes of the screaming noises. Your period of rest also is mostly uneventful, although you do hear an odd rumbling sound—like something very large moving through the tunnels. It fades away before you can investigate.

Still no starvation or aimless wandering.
On the fifth day of traveling, the floor begins to get slick under your feet, and the air feels even more damp. As the party tramps noisily through the tunnels, you hear an odd slapping sound—like flippers slapping on stone. When you round the corner, you run straight into a party of kuo-toa. Once they spot you, they let out an ululating cry and charge, crying "Blood for Leemooggoogoon!"
The war party consists of six smaller kuo-toa and two larger ones.

Knox pulls his shield out and refreshes the flames in his hand with a flick.
"I do not possess blood, at least not conventional blood. But I will not allow you to take the blood of my companions, it is required for their continued functioning."
Knox throws the flame in his hand at one of the two Larger Kuo-Toa and then stands ready for the coming assault.

"Sorry Shuushar..." Vera begins as she draws out her sword, "...but I don't think we're going to be able to reason with these fellows in particular." Moving herself next to Knox and between the Kuo-Toa and the party behind her, she'll thrust her sword at the first kuo-toa to approach her.

Hawthorn lifts his right hand against one of the smaller creatures. a light begins to glow in his palm before it shoots towards the beast. guiding bolt attack: 7 Damage: 13
In case it misses (it probably does) he uses favoured by the gods to increase the attack by 5
(Note: not entirely sure how I managed to mess this up, but there's 8 normal and 1 larger. No clue what I did.)
Hawthorn lands a ray of scorching radiant energy on one of the kuo-toa. It charges forward to attempt to draw blood before it dies, but is cut down preemptively by Vera's readied attack.
The other 7 charge forward, two getting into melee with Knox, two getting into melee with Vera, and the rest hanging back a bit. One of the remaining three throws a net on Vera, and the other two throw spears at Knox.

I believe Warforged aren’t constructs. If they are, heal him anyways. I can Homebrew a ruling if I have to, this isn’t an adventure you can go through unable to heal a party member.

Brio rolls a small round orb she had been tinkering with under the Kuo-toa. As it rolls past them it explodes in a flash of light that seems to attach itself to the Kuo-toa, outlining their forms and making them easier to hit.
Casting Faerie fire, DC 14 dex save, if failed all attacks on them have advantage. It is a 20ft cube and I am just trying to catch as many as I can in it.

Vera knows very little about the Underdark, and nothing about something that would cause paralysis with a sound.

Knox is pierced through on all sides by spears, and slumps to the ground unconscious.
