Jeb seeing the futility of trying to hit the goblins whilst they are prone, alters his strategy. He holds his fire until the evil little buggers pop back up to fire upon the party once more. He sets his sights on the goblin behind the foremost tree on the right side of the trail <K7>.
Action: Holds his action to be Ready to fire on the goblins as they reveal themselves to fire upon the party.
Arikon watched in anger has his magic missed its target. "Damn it!", he exclaimed mostly to himself as he readied himself for another attack. He felt the adrenaline pumping through his veins. Somehow it was exhilarating, completely different from the experience during the bar fight. The stakes seemed all the more higher, examplified by Bedrach's corpse falling lifeless into the river after the goblins had pierced him with several arrows.
Taking a deep breath to settle himself he took aim at the same goblin as before(K7) and tried to hit him with another Eldritch Blast. (Attack: 14 Damage: 2 + Bless1 to hit with spell sniper ignoring cover)

Zee sees a goblin that is somewhat close across the river (k8) and decides to let lose one of his own sacred flame (3 radiant damage if hit) and then goes prone in the thicket, trying to minimize his attack-able presence.
An idea was forming in his mind, but the fight only just started so he decided attrition is currently the best choice. Zee looks at the arrow stuck in him and grimaces, then looks to Arikon. "Steady yourself and focus. You have this."

Goblin Ambush Round 3
Goblin A Save: 7
Goblin C Save: 11
Goblin E vs. Murmen: 12
Goblin A vs. Jeb: 6
Goblin C vs. Jeb 24
Goblin A Stealth Roll: 14
Lady Luck is not on Jeb's side as his arrow flies over the Goblin A's head when it peeks out of cover. It also dodges Zee's pillar of flame, but Arikon's shot is true and the energy bolt grazes its shoulder. Goblin A and Goblin C fire back at an exposed Jeb, both arrows finding their target, dealing 5 and 8 damage.
Then, Goblin A shouts an order at Goblin D(F5) behind him, before falling back attempting to hide in the thicket, but he can still be clearly seen. Goblin D forgoes his attack and instead pulls out a thick arrow with a rag on its head, and uses his action to light the arrow. He then advances to the tree Goblin A was covering behind. It seems they are trying to pull something here.
Murmen's pillar of flame strikes true, and the Goblin(I14) in front of him is injured. Goblin E in the far back fires another shot at Murmen, which manages to pierce his armor again for 4 damage. Jeb and Murmen are barely holding on with a scrap of life, but the goblins have gotten out of prone position, perhaps ready to make a push the next turn.
John watches the intensifying fight in front of him. He is shocked as he sees Berdach fall into the river, while Murmen and Jeb are bleeding furiously. "What can I do? Should I stay here?"
Battle Map:
(This shootout is not going well for you. The goblins position is too strong. It may resolve poorly if you fail to take more...aggressive action).
The whole situation was deteriorating quickly. Bedrach was dead and Jeb and Murmen were in rather bad shape. Both had been hit by several arrows. They needed to reduce the incoming fire. "If you think you are up to the task, John. We really could use some help!", the young sorcerer shouted in response. Suddenly, Arikon observed that two of the goblins were moving closer together. He seized the opportunity and cast Sleep (affecting 22 HP) centered between the two goblins(K7&H7) in front of him.

Jeb curses fate as the first arrow lands in left shoulder. The momentum of the strike spins him about as the second arrow takes him in his right side. Jeb staggers to the thicket near Murmen. He drops to the ground near the dwarf with a groan. "Goblins... Deadly little vermin aren't they?" Jeb grimaces in pain as he props himself in his new location.
Action: Jeb holds his action as he readies to fire as a Reaction at the goblin at the same location <G7> as he pops out to fire at again.
How quickly the tide turns. With a single spell, Arikon neutralizes half of the remaining goblins, the two goblins on the right side of the bridge collapsing into a deep slumber. Meanwhile, Jeb fires at the closest goblin on the left side of the bridge, striking it down with an arrow.
Now, only a single goblin remains, the one farthest back on the left side. Seeing its allies fall before him, it yells out and dashes for the woods, running as far away from you as it can. It is 120 feet away from all of you and has almost made it into the tree-line.
If you'd like to give chase, you must first cross the bridge, avoiding the caltrops scattered on it. Or, you could shoot at it from range. Who knows where it's going to go?
(Submit your final attacks. Once they are good enough to kill the last goblin, we'll move on).

All of a sudden the situation took a rather fortunate turn. Jeb's arrow dropped one of the attackers while two more were incapacitated by Arikon's spell. Scarred, the last goblin made a run for it, bolting away from the group. "Not so fast you little monster", the young sorcerer exclaimed as he moved out from behind the tree to send another Eldritch Blast after the fleeing one. (Attack: 13 Damage: 4 + Bless1 to hit)
After the bolt of energy had left his hand he moved carefully onto the bridge (Moving at half speed when on the bridge). "Quickly we need to restrain the other two.", he said to his companions, "Maybe we can get some information out of them." For instance whose dead horses had been sprawled across the way up ahead. The adrenaline was still pumping, and it only slowly dawned on him that they already had lost one of their allies. The half-orc had been careless, and paid with his life, an error Arikon would try hard to avoid.

Murmen gets to his feet, wincing as his legs complain at him. He lays his hand on Jeb, healing him for 10. He doesn't bother pursuing, he knows he won't be able to get in range fast enough.

Arikon gets a good hit, the energy bolt striking the goblin’s back. The goblins raises it’s arms high and falls to the ground, but it quickly gets back up and keeps running. It’s going to make it into the woods if no one else does anything!

Zee watches on as One goblin is downed, two are put to sleep, and one takes off. Zee moves as close as he can even if it means moving through the caltrops on the bridge, takes his Crossbow out and aim's for the runner. It is out of his normal range though so he only hopes and prays that maybe the bolt may find it's mark. (attack with light crossbow, out of the 80ft range so made with disadvantage) 21 plus my inspiration die ( 4 ) doing 5 damage if hit.
(please ignore the 20 role as I used the dice roller wrong. Let me try again ... 7 to hit. I had selected 2d20 the first time thinking it would take the lower roll but it rolled 2d20 and did disadvantage on both rolls then added them together. This time I judt di the 1d20 with disadvantage. Sorry about that)
Zee squint's as the crossbow bolt disappears from his view. He turns around not caring if it hit one way or the other. "Well then, is everyone else ok?" He asks with genuine concern. He had a reliable feeling that not everyone was ok, since one of them had just washed away down the river. He digs into his pack and pulls out some rope, which he uses to clear a path on the bridge, making his way over to the slumbering goblins with intent to bind them "I want to keep these!" Zee says motioning to the caltrops.
The crossbow bolt sails into the distance and embeds into the back of the goblin's head, who immediately collapses on to the ground, unmoving. The battle has finished, and though the party was ambushed and pinned down, they managed to prevail at a cost. Berdach is gone, swept downstream by the river's currents. His sacrifice will not be forgotten.
The sound of buzzing flies grows stronger, as carrion crows circle overhead. Two oxen, two horses, and three goblins lay dead around the bridge. You can now clearly see the horses were the very same ones Gundren and Sildar rode out of Doveheart- now they lay pincushioned on the ground.
Two goblins are sound asleep, but they will not be for long. In less than a minute, they will be awake and ready to fight(Zee and Arikon are approaching them, but have not yet arrived).
Thirty feet down the road from the horses, a blue-scaled Dragonborn begins to rouse. He has a splitting headache as he notices a familiar scent. The scent of death. Sharloon opens his eyes and sees a scene of carnage before him. He's lying in a ditch by the side of his road, and he realizes that all of his possessions and equipment are gone. All of it. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees the party clear the bridge of caltrops and begin crossing it.
"Rise and shine, boy. You let the goblins get the jump on you. Haven't I taught you to be more perceptive?" Master Shin's voice echoes in his head.
His head still throbbing, Sharloon stood. The effort made him woozy. Reaching up he felt the cut at the side of his head and felt the slick blood in his white mane. He was going to need to find something to clean and bandage his head. Looking around warily he spotted the nearby bridge and ambush site. Fallen goblins littered the field. A small group of humans and dwarves were moving through the wreckage. Aid, perhaps? Not likely bandits if they had wiped out the goblins.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend...
“The direct approach then,” Sharloon spoke out loud seemingly to the wind.
Walking forward towards the bridge, the Dragonborn monk held his hands outward at his sides palms up and slightly elevated.
In a hopefully non-threatening manner his gravelly voice intoned, “Greetings, travelers. I have the honor of being Sharloon, Servant of the White Palm Monastery. May I be of assistance?”
Jeb sighs in relief as he feels the healing energy flow into his body from Murmen's attention. He nods at the dwarf, a stranger but a few days back. Now he had no doubt saved Jeb's life for a second time. He says, "My thanks again good dwarf. I find myself indebted to you once more." Jeb surveys the final shot by Zee, take out the lone goblin attempting to flee. As Jeb moves to check on the oxen team, he notes the Dragonborn rising to his feet from a nearby ditch.
Arikon watched as the last goblin fell to Zee's expertly placed shot. He breathed a sigh of relief but the situation still wasn't completely under control. They still had to deal with the two unconscious goblins that were bound to wake up in less than a minute. He carefully moved across the bridge towards the remaining two attackers, when he noticed movement further down the road. It was a blue-scaled dragonborn that slowly got to his feet and who greeted them soon after.

"They will be awake shortly and i suggest we restrain them as fast as possible." The young sorcerer would keep approaching the sleeping attackers and use the rope in his backpack to restrain them hoping that the others would assist him in this task.
