"Of course we are on the list. Have you not heard of me? Devyn Windtrack, vanquisher of white dragons, killer of orcs. I was invited because your fancy folk love to hear stories that make their women folk faint." Devynn says haughtily.
Wow, 2 failed persuasion checks in a row. Gettin threw this door is gunna be tough. There wont be much story progress for the next day or two as I have to make a last minute business trip. Wont have much time to do any sort of real progression. Apologies for this, I will get back to a steady pace after I have returned home.
The Dwarf laughs heartily at you Devynn, The half-elf never even came close to cracking a smile. The Dwarf eye's you both Sayre and Devynn, He looks to his companion Half-elf beside him and gives him a a grin. "Ai, 'M afraid yer not gettin threw without a proper invitation, There is no list Ya big oaf." He barks at you devynn. "as fer you lassy, I havent a clue what your on about. Aint no unpleasantness 'ere." Sayre, You can smell him at this distance. He reeks of alcohol and what can only be described as moldy cheese mixed with some kind of feces, He smells AWFUL. The tiefling beside him, Which in reality is the same Half-elf who has always been there, Has piercing blue eyes and a Mane of pure white hair. He dosent speak a word, he simply watches you.
The dwarf and the half-elf block the entrance to your Destination, it appears they have no plans to let you enter. Just when you were considering a more direct approach, You hear the deep and commanding voice of Locke. You all turn to see the Monster of a man striding towards the 3 of you. Even in the cold weather he is still bare chested with a pair of flowing gold and red pants covering his bottom half. "What have you learned in your investigation thus far?" He asks as he stands before you, His deep brown eyes focus on you Serik. "That Spear!, Where did you find it?"
Edit: I meant Locke, I have too many NPCS whos names starts with L. Thank you harcopi for pointing it out!

Serik looked from the guards to Locke and back as if this should be all the invitation they needed. He bowed slightly to Locke in respect and said softly, but firmly. “Some bandits mistook us for common traveler's with too much gold in our purses…” he made a point to look at the gaurds, indicating their earlier comments about their attire.
“We dealt...harshly...with them.” He continued, still looking at the gaurds before returning his attention to Locke, giving him a look that indicated there was more to discuss about it away from unfriendly ears. “I took this magic staff from their charred corpses.” He added the magic part for Locke's benefit and the charred corpses to intimidate the gaurds.
(Intimidation:26) apparently Serik is intimadating lol
OOC: I am glad one of us is! Ok DM but I'll still post action.
Sayre acknowledges Locke but leads him away from the bouncers and turns her back to them to show him the dagger she found in the snow to see if he know anything about.

Locke looks over the dagger. Arcana check 0 He has no earthly Idea what the blade is. He does however recgonize as the blade the Assailant at the Glade had used against him. "This is the same dagger used to inflict the wound I now carry, I cannot tell you anymore about it for I do not know."
He looks puzzled at you Devynn as you show him the Waxstamp, "W-where did you find this?" He has a moment of pure shock on his face. He takes it from you Devynn and examines it closely. "This is the Sealing stamp of Silas and Delilah briarwood, How on Exandria did you come into possessing this?" He stares at you Devynn, His deep brown eyes set onto yours. "Serik, That spear is a Relic passed threw The order of Kord. It is known as the Stormlords Way. I Wielded it when I fought whatever had attacked Solace and I at the Crescent glade. In my rush to rescue solace and bring her to safety I had dropped it. I thought it lost to me for the rest of my days."

The Dwarf and The half-elf stand their ground. Seemingly unfazed by your words serik. "'Ay thats nice to here laddy, Yet us two aint no snatchpurses, We'll tan yer hide before the day is out." The Dwarf speaks aloud as he takes firm grip of his Warhammer and the Half-elf Draws his sword form his sheathe. You gather you should be Very careful with your next words, These two seem alot Stronger then the bandits you faced. Locke, Having had enough of the Dwarf looks over towards Serik and The Dwarf. "Peekratch, Let them pass or you will deal with me. We both know how that will end dont we." These words from Locke send the Dwarf into a fit as he pushes the half-elf out of the way, They are no longer blocking the entrance.

Devynn, you try to gauge weather or not the Spear is really Lockes. He is hard to read, His face barely ever moves and gives no indication of any sort of tell.
Serik and Devynn, You have never heard the name briarwood before. Sayre, You vaguely recall something about the legend of a group of adventurers told to you by Victor. Your having trouble remembering the exact details but you do remember Victor saying that the Briarwoods were a stain on the world, That they were defeated along with the Whispered one 35 years ago. They once held a Small part of the land of tal'dorei many years ago before they were driven out by the Fabled Vox machina. That is all you can remember.
Edit: Happy Thursday Critters! Today marks the Final showdown with Vecna! Im excited to see it and Thrilled that I can tell a story in the same world. There wont be any Progress today as I have to be on a Plane for around 9 hours. Have a wonderful day!

Locke is gripping the spear tightly in his right hand. You all can see static pulsing from the weapon into Lockes forearm, the weapon eminates power. With a slight smile on his face locke lowers the weapon to his side and gestures towards the Door of the velvet cabaret. "Well, Shall we proceed?" He asks to you all in a somewhat rhetorical way. We? Does he mean to join you in this part off the Task? You all enter the large wooden doors of the Cabaret. The Dwarf and the half-elf put a fair amount of distance between Themselves and Locke. Seemingly afraid of him. You enter to the scent of what can only be described as a Mild honeysuckle mixed with the smell of fresh rain. It smells absolutely wonderful in this building, The large Room in which you entered into seems like a greeting area. The Place is very well lit, Sconces line the walls on either side. A cherry red carpet leads from the entrance to another door about 20 feet from you. There are multiple desks and tables atop which there are Model boats and various paintings. There is no one else in this area of the Cabaret. You do also notice a Coat rack near the far door. Atop which there are many coats hanging from it.
"This place has surely changed since the Dredges purchased it." Locke spoke softly, stepping in front of you all. "Well come this way, we mustn't delay, The Dredges are waiting." Locke walks towards the far door.

Locke is not attuned to the Weapon It has been over 1 day since he last held it, It's more or less bound to him. This is why the spear reacts the way it does in his hands.
Locke pivots and turns his body to look back at you all, He gives you a barely noticeable grin Sayre as he places the spear into a small holding sheathe strapped to his belt. The Short spear hangs limply as he pushes past the doors. "For this part, I am needed. Else you will never get close to the Dredges." He speaks loudly as he passes threw.
