Mark has a listen, he doesn't think it sounds like what he'd expect the cat the fought to sound like... it sounds heavier , and a little less subtle and slinky. The pattern of footfalls doesn't seem to fit a four legged creature.

Mark tries to catch the attention of as many as his groupmates as he can, then holds up two fingers and points to his feet.  He loosens the strap on his axe so he can grab it quicker if need be, and readies his shield.

Ember will attempt to sneak into the trees and skirt around behind the thing that is following the party.

Ember and Blue get the gist of what Mark is trying to sign, that there is some sort of two footed creature walking about.

 Ember slips into the woods, trying to circle around whatever it is... but she can hear it coming for her.

Son watches Mark do something with his hands and then sees everyone trying to sneak, occasionally loudly, into the woods.

Before finally getting it is a fight and pulls out the longsword and readies the shield.

Ember hears it moving to intercept her.

((You didn't nat 20 your initiative, but you do get to go first!))

Feeling like her attempt to circle behind the creature had failed, Ember will move back towards the group so that she doesn't have to fight it alone. She will Ready an arrow for when the creature shows itself as an enemy.

"Whatever it is, it is coming in fast!"

The creature bursts from the vegetation after Ember, howling a grunting cry as it drums on its chest with all four arms.

I'm assuming, now that we can see it, Ember can lose her arrow.

 Ember tries to aim her bow at the beast, but the attempt to fire after quickly turning around from running causes her to shot wide.

The bolt finds fur, but doesn't seem to hit any flesh, the creature unfazed.

Grunting and beating its chest, it bounds towards Ember, opening its toothy maw to chomp onto her as it pulls back all four arms to strike...

Attack: 24 Damage: 8
