Over the roars of the elemental, Irommek hears Brunella’s suggestion.
We could use the eagles to get back across the lava, but we may not have a choice but lure this thing out and let them attack while we catch our breath.
Deciding on a final push before falling back, Irommek swings his hammer at the elemental’s head.
“Fire is only good for forging weapons and warming bread to eat with a drink of ale! Gertrude, help me send this flamin’ beastie back to the plane that those lizards summoned it from!”
OOC:
Action – Attack (25), damage if hit (12)
Bonus Action – Using last superiority die for Commander’s Strike and allowing Gertrude to attack the elemental and add 1d8 to the damage
Gertrude hears Irommek's words and feels her weapon move by itself but with newfound power.
To hit: 9 for damage: 15
Gertrude growls in anger as the greataxe swings wide. She again drops her weapon and takes out the readied trident with two hands to attack the creature:
to hit: 17 for damage: 8
Again, she only hits the plate armour.
Then she again extends her rage and covers her friends in some more health points (+2 tHP for whoever is around me)
Inete casts radiant flames at the elemental. Radiant Damage: 8, Elemental DEX save 14
The Elemental feels that its permanence on the Material plane is close to an end. Fire still permeates its blade, which it uses against the old dwarf. Attack: 9 Damage: 12 Attack: 12 Damage: 10 Attack: 22 Damage: 8
The geyser flow falls over the elemental and this time it has no more strength to resist it. The fire goes out, the elemental returns to its native plane of existence, leaving behind the armour and the scimitars.
Now silence has fallen in Hrakhamar, silence broken only by the flow of the lava river and Musharib's prayers to Moradin.
Gertrude walks around the room and picks up all her weapons including her javelin, her warhammer and her greataxe, that she had dropped on after the other to find a weak spot in the elemental's defences.
"Let's ask those eagles to take us to the next outcrop further south. It looks like there might be another cave system and we do want to be sure to be rid of all fire newts, am I right?" Gertrude turns to Oniss and Felix: "Great fight! this was so much fun!"
Oniss walks into the room further and takes a look around and at the remains of the creatures for anything of value or note about Imix, that may be helpful further along in the area.

Brunella collapses against the wall. She is still gravely injured from the lava, and needs to rest. She closes her eyes, trying to center herself and meditate to allow her injuries to heal.

In the room, there is what remains of the statue, now melted and solidified in a shapeless mound on the ground, and the elemental's equipment. There is nothing more of remarkable interest.
Kurma is looking at the band, tired, injured, breathing heavily. "hum, it look like we could use a proper rest. Mushy, do you think the place is now safe? Brunella and Felix are right I think, we could use a few hour to tend to our wounds and replenish our magic. This place seems like a good spot to rest with only two access points, easy to guard. I have spotted a way out south that will require some balance, we could go that way, tomorrow morning...What do you all say ? "
Musharib:" I do not know if those were all the bastards. There could be more in the caverns, but many are out there in the valley. Let's rest and check out tomorrow. I'll do the first watch."
