Action: [Tooltip Not Found]: Gravity flicks the Wand of Web again to expend a charge to conjure intricate mass of sticky webbing to obstruct the advancement of the north-bound Lizardfolk Guard. (Dexterity saving throw required)
"Aren't you supposed to guard something or someone instead of running away like a coward?"
Special Action: Magical Tinkering: Gravity uses her Tinker's Tools to imbue a dagger with magical property that enables continuous emission of non-verbal blank sound and points it at the guard to suppress his crisis call.
"I can't hear you, pal! Are you praying for mercy or begging for your life? Can you speak up?"
<is there a reference for this? I support the creativity, but is there an ability being used to allow the replicstion of one part of the silence spell?>
(@Wile_E_Coyote, it's the third option of the 'magical tinkering' feature:"The object continuously emits your choice of an odor or a nonverbal sound (wind, waves, chirping, or the like). The chosen phenomenon is perceivable up to 10 feet away." So, the dagger is emitting continuous noise to interfere with the yelling noise of the guard like a jamming device. The final result depends on your ruling.)
Yeah, that's what I thought. It can't actually block the sound, but you could potentially convince him that it would. I rhink thst could work on a creature like 'the demagorgon' but I don't think it would on this guy, so rather than have you roll, ill consider all of this over the table discussion and you csn choose a different course if action if you wish, or proceed as planned despite knowing the outcome.
Marlyth finds herself threatening the guard as he co tinues to yell and scream. Her contraption likewise emits some sort of sound, similar to the noise the guard makes.
Sam and Tetrevess are up. There are still two guards down there
<totally on me, but I forget... did you guys find both halves of the manual of golems, or just one. The two halves are in separate dungeons, and I think yoi got the one in the Tomb of Horrors, but not the one here in the Temple of Moloch. Spoiler: your about to get it if you don't already have it>
Tetrevess takes a 5 foot step back and then shoots the guard in front of him with a firebolt 27 to hit
18 damage if hit
<when i saw 5ft step, i understood this to be a holdover feom 3rd edition. Jusr for clarity (I'm guessing you are aware) there is no special moveme t or acrion called 5ft step in 5e; its just 5ft of movement that still draws an aoo. I assume you just wanted to be 5ft away for the purposes of avoiding DA on the ranged spell attack, which makes sense.>
As tetrevess winds up his attack, stepping away feom the guard, the lizard man slashes at the spellcaster 20 for 13, but the wizard ends rhe guards aggression, along with his life.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gravity's Turn: Round 7
Action: [Tooltip Not Found]: Gravity casts Prestidigitation to kindle a lighter and tosses it towards the flammable webbing. The lizardfolk guard should suffer from 6Fire Damage if they fail to break free.
"Shut up! Nobody's coming here to rescue you. Tell me about the location of the gemsmith and save yourself."
Sam knocks out the last guard in the southern hallway. The lozardmsm trapped in the web takes a moment to right himself after falling to the floor in a blaze of flaming webs, which he rolls around to extinguish. Seizing rhe moment, he runs off again to the north.
The southern passage is free of guards bu the one left is escaping to the north.

Marlyth rushes after the guard (normal movement spend, he used disengage not dash) and spits the lozardman just in time to target him with her spell.
Feeling the webs enclose him, the guard slashes to try and claw his way through. 5
With snarling growls, the guard strains to escape, but finds himself caught deeper in the web with each movement.
At Marlyrh's approach and subsequent prodding, the guard begins to yell as loud as he can: "Intruders! They've come for the sculptor!"
Special Action: Magical Tinkering: Gravity uses her Tinker's Tools to imbue a dagger with magical property that enables continuous emission of non-verbal blank sound and points it at the guard to suppress his crisis call.

(Since it's a special action and doesn't interfere with action economy, I'll like to proceed with the current course of action.)
