Chip has finished up and he gathers the coins that have been left for him. At the table he quickly counts 20 GP and 62 SP. The evening has been a success. He catches up on the conversation and the different rumors that have been heard. All are agreed that at minimum you will look for the dwarves lost cargo in the morning.
Scramsax stops at the table and heartily thanks Chip for playing. "I have not had a house so packed in a long time." Turning to Chill "You drove a hard bargain but you were right, I have more than made up in revenue this night. You folks are welcome here anytime if Chip will play even just one night when you stay. On the house for room and board for a single nights playing." he wanders away and you continue your planning for the next day.
The following morning it is as cold as it was the day prior but the air is clear and the wind is light. You gather yourselves together in the common room and discuss the plan for the day. The dwarves said to head straight toward Kelvin’s Cairn. The sled lies halfway between Bryn Shander and Kelvin’s Cairn, in the middle of the tundra.
Rekuberk makes sure that he is wrapped warmly in his clothing before they head outside, keeping his hands covered as much as possible. "Alright shall we depart. I do not think it would be wise to delay for to long as it can only grow colder with time."
Chip would collect his things and nod to Rek. "Yes, I believe it is time to see how well I can handle riding one of our new companions" The dragonborn would say as he prepares to mount his newly purchased creature.
Krom finishes to check his belongings and adjusts his winter clothes so that he is well protected "Yes, lad it is better if we leave immediately. The weather will only get worse." says to Rekuberk. "Are you sure that those creatures are safe Chip? They will flee at the first sign of a yeti. Speaking of yetis, let's keep our eyes open as we march, those creatures hide very well in the snow." says the dwarf checking his snowshoes as he starts walking beside Rekuberk. As soon as Rhogar joins them, Krom says to the dragonborn "Since a lot of people seems to end dead in this dale, last night, I studied an hymn that will allow us to ask simple questions to the dead. It may be useful."
"Well if it flees I would rather be on it than chasing after it in the snow" Chip would reply with a wink. "we will need them to haul that iron if we want to make good time. We may just have to make sure to keep these creatures at a safe distance.. that's all."
Kazri wears a heavy cloak over her plated armor. “I am ready to depart.”

Like the others, Chill pulls his hood down and wraps his face well. "At least the wind isn't blowing, be thankful of that." He eyes the Axe Beak for a moment but seeing that Chip seems to have it under control Chill moves out in front. "Stay in line and stay close. If a wind whips up we could lose each other very quickly in the blowing snow." Normally Chill would range ahead of the rest but now he stays right in front and leads the way. For now the mountain is easy to see and he leads the others towards it.
You head towards the distant peak, trudging across the ice. Ove the next few hours of travel the wind begins to whip up and snow begins to fall. Eventually a blizzard descends on you, reducing visibility to twenty feet. Kelvin’s Cairn vanishes from view as the blowing snow and howling wind engulf you.
"I am confident in my ability to keep the path and guide us there, especially with some help from one of you, but if you want to wait it out that's fine. I'm for keeping on." Chill shouts over the wind as we stop to huddle up and make a decision.
Rhogar, who had still been somewhat in a quiet mood since the early morning, finally chimes in over the blizzard. "Given the corrupted nature of the weather up here, we could find ourselves trapped out here for days waiting."He shouts out in return from the back of his mount. "Better we press on if your confident, Chill. Everyone! Stay close. Tie yourselves to each other if you need to. But act quickly!" With that said, Rhogar sent Gorrah away to her pocket dimension to protect her from the storm, and spent what was likely to be the remainder of the journey split between following Chill and casting Resistance on The Duchess(Rhogar's Mount) to help her better weather the storm.
Not that she probably needed it, but such was the Bronze's confidence in his own abilities over that of the beast. So, it would be up to someone else to provide the help Chill would need.

"I agree with Rhogar, we have to press on! " shouts Krom, "We are losing visibility, but maybe this will help us to not lose the way." The dwarf quickly chant an hymn of evocation (Light) as he touch Chill's Whitecloak. As soon as the hymn is completed, the White Dragon Cloak is illuminated by a bright crimson light. "Everyone stay close to that light!" Krom shouts in the direction of Rekuberk, Kazri and Chip "One of you should be able to help Chill finding a way for us. I will enhance Chill's sight with an hymn ofGuidance!" The dwarf touches the Tabaxi as he chants the hymn. Krom will try to maintain the spell on Chill as long as possible.
Kazri is not strange to the outdoors, but not exactly this extreme. However, she tries to aid her companions as best as she can.

Chip would activate the driftglobe.. and would move up close to Chill... helping to act as a beacon so we can all stay close together. He would then cast dancing lights to provide dim light in front of them as though illuminating the path they plan to follow under Chill's guidance.
With Kazri's help Chill presses on into the deteriorating conditions (Chill Survival 24). An hour later and the winds die down and the snow gently falls and you find that Chill, with some needed help from Kazri, has indeed kept you on track.
More than an hour after that and you crest a snow-covered ridge and see a frozen, dismembered corpse in the gully in front of you. Snow covers some of the gory bits, but the headless torso and severed limbs are visible. You see tracks in the snow all around the corpse, and the telltale grooves in the snow left behind by a sled that has been hauled away.
"This could be the place where the yetis attacked the dwarves." says Krom pointing at the dismembered corpse while looking around "Unfortunately since the head is missing, I will not be able to speak with the corpse to confirm my theory." "Should we follow those tracks to see if they lead to the ore?" the dwarf asks to the rest of the group. "Chill, are the tracks going in the direction we are supposed to go?"
Kazri looks around for any danger. (Perception: 9)

"Could be is putting it mildly, Master Krom." Rhogar commented as soon as he spied the corpse. "The ore is the priority. Thus, if it has moved, so should we follow. Though why would such ghastly creatures of the Tundra have any interest in ore alone and not the kill is beyond me." He added as checked on the condition of his mount. If the Duchess wasn't freaking out yet, so too would Rhogar remain calm for now. Though as a precaution he continued to keep bestowing resolve as needed for the Duchess.Beyond that, he made ready to follow at least the sled tracks while it yet remained, and before it can be lost to the blizzard.

Rekuberk keeps in pace with the rest of the group, looking towards the sled tracks. "More then likely it was not the yeti that took the sled. It is possible that someone came upon it and took the opportunity to claim it for themselves."
Chill inspects the area and then makes his report. None of the tracks were made by yeti or the dwarf. Those tracks are long gone. The tracks you see are fairly fresh and belong to a half-dozen Small humanoids wearing snowshoes. You approached the area from the southwest and these tracks lead straight south and can't be more than an hour old. The blizzard snow must not have reached this area or they would have been lost.
