"Science is organized knowledge. Wisdom is organized life."
Rhogar squints at the new tracks and grumbles. "No. I imagine not, Master Krom. Not if whatever or WHO-ever, as the tracks suggest, can help it. But let us hope they see the wisdom in returning it to their rightful owners if they have not already done so by now."He said, only to scoff at the last part. Beyond this, Rhogar remained content to follow with a greater wariness about the whole situation. For he had been prepared to face some great, devilish beast by the description; not some tundra scavengers by the looks of things.

Rekuberk draws his Greatsword as they continue on their way, holding the weapon so that it can be swung at a moment's notice. "Whatever this leads to it would be wise to prepare for combat to be safe."

A couple of hours later and the dim light of the few hours of daylight there was has passed. The tracks get fresher and eventually you come over a rise and catch up to your quarry. The creatures you’ve been following appear to be goblins, based on their stature. All six of them groan, grunt, and curse loudly as they haul the bulky sled toward what appears to be a twenty-foot-tall wagon parked in the snow. Harnessed to this conveyance are two roaring polar bears that don’t look happy.
“I wonder if those goblins are part of the ones are are supposed to see later.” Kazri thinks out loud.

"Doubtful. The one's we are to meet are days away. Likely this is another more mobile and nomadic tribe." Rhogar supplied as he once more summoned Gorrah. She wastes no time in immediately nestling into his hood, chilling the dragonborn much to his chagrin. "In any case, do we call out to them and give them a chance to surrender what they've taken or... assume the worst and be out of this cold?" He asked of the others.

"Whatever we do I think it would be wise to avoid those bears. I do not doubt that they are the much larger threat." Rekuberk says as he puts his sword back and readies a javelin for some range.
"Even if I think to know already their answer when we will ask to return the ore, let's ask it anyway." says Krom "If there is a chance that those goblins belong to the same tribe that is raiding this Dale and they truly intend to negotiate we should speak to them before attacking them." The dwarf walks near Kazri and asks her "Those bears do not seem happy, do you think that you could persuade them to fight for us or at least not interfere if the goblins attack us or do not want to return the ore?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Chill raises the hood on his cloak and fades into the darkness and snow. "I'll leave the talking to you, if things go bad I'll be ready." He says as he moves to a flanking position.
Chip would dismount and and take the reigns of his (forget the name). "Perhaps we should secure our mounts before we go make those goblins and bears mad. I don't want them to scare away our way to transport the ore."
“I agree to try the peaceful approach first.” Says Kazri, but keep her sword and shield at the ready.

Rhogar grimaces, and then looks around. "Easier said then done in this environ... hm... Considering we should act fast before they begin loading the ore and making things difficult, I will stay behind with the mounts. Make sure they don't run off, but follow at a distance as needed. Though in a pinch, do make any efforts to subdue them flashy enough to signal my aid."He hops down and holds out his hands to Chip in offer of taking the reigns.
(@Pal54: I'm assuming we've slowed but still at least loosely kept pace with the goblins draging the ore from a distance.)

The creatures look to be having a hard time pushing the sled on their own and are not moving very fast. They are concentrating on what they are doing and do not seem to take notice of you. I assumed you slowed or stopped to observe and are not approaching yet. They are almost to the wagon though. You will need to act soon as they are nearly there.
"Should we make our presence known now?" Asks Kazri looking at her companions.

"Yes, lass. We have to go now or they will go away. Follow me and prepare to defend yourself if they attack us." Krom nods to Rhogar and Chill trusting that they will be able to support the group well from a secure distance and starts walking towards the goblins. As he the goblins are within earshot and dashing range, Krom says first in dwarvish then in common "Hey there! That ore belongs to the Battlehammer's clan."

Chip would continue to light the way as they search for the ore.
"Let's keep our eyes open" says Krom as he follows Chip's lead, "I suspect that it will not be easy to get back the ore for the dwarves."
Kazri will keep helping Chill finding the way.

Krom, nodding to Rekuberk, murmurs a prayer to Moradin and adjusts the grip on his shield and war hammer as the group continues to follow the tracks.
With his crossbow ready Chill moves out to follow the tracks. With the snow they don't seem too difficult to follow.
