Davril stabs rat 11 with his spear, killing it.
Quiller hits rat 12 with his rapier, killing it and is able to kill one of the sleeping rats with his bonus attack.

Quin kills a sleeping rat with his attack.
Vothrolo kills the final sleeping rat by bashing it in the head with her staff. As she shakes the rat brains off the end of her staff, the half-elf looks around and says "Well, that was fun. Lets not have quite so much fun the next time."
"Quite! If rats get this big out here, can you imagine how big they must be, down under the larger cities? Or, how did they get to be so large? Hmm. Must be a species trait, perhaps a local mutation. Ideally not an active mutagen in the area or water supply. Hmm." Still pondering Balthazar tucks his head into the room from which came the horde of defeated rats.
Quin cuts A small strip of fabric from the bottom of his cloak and binds up his wrist.
"Well that was exciting. Must have been pretty hungry to come at us like that. Thanks again for the timely assistance Vothrolo. Lets keep looking, shall we?" says Quin as he too looks into the next room.
Davril uses his spear to push the bodies into piles on the sides of the room before wiping it off as best he can, "Just in case we need to leave in a hurry, best not to trip over them."

In peaking into the room, Balthazar notices a large pile of debris and ripped cloth laying in the center of room, with plenty of evidence that the rats used this area as a nest. The room is about 20 feet x 20 feet in size, with no exits visible from the room.
Vothrolo looks over at Lorgar and approaches him with her ointment and bandages. She will bandage up the cleric, healing him for 4 points.
OOC It is early evening, about 2-3 hours before sunset.

Balthazar briefly looks at the nest, poking around in it with his walking staff but otherwise not wishing to plunge his hand deep inside a literal rats nest. He keeps an eye out in particular for possible reasons for the rats obvious gigantism, possible collected pieces that might hold salable value, or even some clue as to the nature of this place itself, gathered by the scavengers. Even a baby rat of this giant variety might make for a useful subject for future experiments, perhaps a homunculus or familiar, should the stars align. (Investigation: 10)
Lorgar blushes as the woman approaches him with the bandages, before answering in a shy voice: "Thank you."
He will then proceed to the room Balthazar was in and say "Let us search this stinking pile, then check the walls and floor for anything that might end up beign a door or mechanism." , then start searching the debris and cloth, moving them all.
"Once we are done here we should head back to town and rest. We should probably not spend the night here."
Davril shrugs, "I don't mind spending the night here, and it might draw less attention to us and this place if we're not traveling back and forth. On the other hand, if anyone sees the light or smoke from our fire, that might draw attention as well, from residents of either city or forest, not sure which worries me more."
As Quin searches he adds to the discussion with, " How about if we don't find the door in the next couple hours we go back? I for one would prefer sleeping in a bed to sleeping on the ground for no reason. If we do find the entrance, we stay here. That way nobody else can stand on our success and get to our goal before us."
