Ednyss manages to hold his ground, not falling from the terrace even though the force of the tornado is immense. His lower center of gravity allows him to keep his balance even with the tornado. If it is possible to do so without getting flung off, Ednyss will rush to the edge of the terrace where the two figures jumped off and look down for them.
(OOC: His action will depend on approximately how far the two intruders are down the wall.)
(Ednyss: Please make two concentration saving throws for the spirit guardians. Ednyss suffered 3HP bludgeoning damage from the tornado, then 5HP additional bludgeoning damage from smashing against the terrace wall.)
Ednyss can peek over the terrace wall and sees the men at L4 and N4, 15' below the terrace level. Looking through Py's eyes, Auger also sees their locations.

Varielky frowns as the vines appear. She's too far in the vines and, remembering how unnaturally painfully they gashed at her earlier, she decides not to move. She raises her shield, ready to block any incoming attacks... or vines.
(I don't feel like throwing the sword away, nor like taking a billion d4s of damage... so Varielky dodges. It might not be useful as the shield imposes a disadvantage on spell attacks anyway, but at least that's an advantage for Dex saves as well...)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: Ah. Forgot that was the ruling. My bad. I will make a new post.)
Ednyss calls down to the two individuals that jumped and the dwarf decides that his magical protections are clearly useless against these individuals for some reason, and so he decides to take the offensive. Gritting his teeth, he grabs his scarred tattoo and bears through the pain as a radiant bolt of energy sears up his arm and out of his hand in the direction of the attacker that summoned the tornado.

(Disregarding me making Varielky oblivious to a window large enough that she could pass through...)
Varielky weighs her options. Being gashed by these vines didn't seem a good idea, and she didn't want to use her sword as a thrown weapon. She wasn't that desperate. Then, she notices the window next to her, and an idea comes to her mind. It is so sudden, she almost feels as if the gods guided her to it. Varielky jumps over to the window's ledge then try to leap from it to the space between robed men and the vines. She might get gashed by the vines if she fails, but it's only the edge of them. Whether she succeeds in the landing or not, Varielky then swings her sword twice, once at each man. She has to stop all the momentum of the first attack and then start the second to be effective, but fortunately, she practised doing just that for the past week. The training finally shows results. Finally, if the men are still alive, Varielky tries to shove them with her shield towards the edge, or maybe even over the edge.
Dex save: 4. I don't suppose Shield Master's benefit or the Spellguard Shield matter here, as the save is for the jump, right? Move: To Q-6, in the way you described in the OOC chat. Action: Attack, one attack against each enemy. Attack vs CR6: 21 Damage: 9. Attack vs CR7: 12 Damage: 15. BA: Shield Shove, trying to push CR6 (or CR7 if CR6 is dead) 5' towards the ledge, possibly over it if they're close enough. Athletics: 14.
Auger misty steps out of view of all combatants, and watches through Py’s invisible eyes from the roof.
Ednyss’ guiding bolt strikes RC5, emblazoning him with radiance and doing 10HP damage, but the cultist’s concentration is unbroken, and his tornado continues spinning. The dwarf then rushes around the west corner of the terrace, bringing his spirit guardians with him.
Varielky leaps to the window casing, then repels in a long jump to Q6, avoiding almost all the thorns in her path but suffering 2HP damage from the edge of the briars as she lands. Her sword raised, she slashes at the two men, but both of her attacks are parried as vines harden into staves in the mens’ hands, which they use to defend themselves. But Varielky’s shield slams into them (critical hit!) and smashes the staves into bits then sends both RC6 and 7 tumbling, head over heels, over the terrace wall.
Benita runs and jumps onto the window ledge at O8 and kicks the window off its hinges, ready to help her friend, but with no enemies presently in sight.
RC4 is lifted by the vines over the terrace wall at M5, and attacks Varielky from behind. Involved with the other two, she can’t bring her shield around in time as a thorny vine shoots out and around the shield-maiden’s ankle doing 2HP damage; but then, the man grabs hold of the vine, and pulls sharply, dragging the shield-maiden 10’ through the thorns for 8HP damage to end her turn at N6.
RC5 is lifted by vines over the terrace wall at N5. He lifts an arm, and a tough thorny vine whips out and around Benita’s neck as she stands ready in the window. It wraps tightly, doing 6HP damage, and he pulls on it and drags her toward him, to N6, causing her legs to pull and tear through thorny vines and suffer 7HP damage. The man then gestures, and the tornado shifts east, to M7, behind Benita, threatening to pick her off her feet and throw her toward P4 and over the wall. But she grabs onto the vine around her neck, using it to anchor herself, and takes only 2HP and keeps her footing in M7. Meanwhile, the tornado picks up all the detritus on the ground and it whirls up, creating a cloud which heavily obscures vision in a 10’ radius. This includes darkvision. Ednyss, if he pokes his head around the corner, cannot see Benita or Varielky (or Auger), or RC5, 6, or 7.
RC6 and RC7 both plummet halfway to the street before vines catch them and they shoot back upward, ending their turns 15’ below the terrace floor at Q4 and R4. Only Auger sees them.
“Give up the Strewn dwarf!,” yells RC5 to Varielky and Benita over the whirling wind.
Auger notices that down on the street, a commotion has picked up as bystanders look up and point at the vines clinging to the walls, the spirit guardians, the whirlpool of forest dust and splinters, and smoke rising from the south side of the building.
(OOC: Extra Damage - I forgot to roll the extra d6 from upcasting Guiding Bolt to Level 2 so RC5 takes an extra 1 Radiant Damage)
Ednyss groans as he looks down at his torn-up legs. He is still standing, but his injuries are starting to stack up. If only he had his shield, he hadn't prepared any divine healing today as it was stored in his shield, but his equipment was all still back in his room. Stepping back out Ednyss draws another radiant bolt from his tattoo and hurls it at the only intruder that he can see. He then commands his spiritual weapon to pass through the tornado and take advantage of the divine mark on his target and slam into him. Finally, the dwarf shouts out "I am here! If you seek Strewn, then leave the others alone and pursue me!" At the very least, he hopes that his words will cause confusion, and he hasn't even spoken a lie. Even though he was injured, he knew his allies were equally injured, and he hoped that his taunt would buy them enough time to finish the intruders while they chased the priest. With that, Ednyss disappears back around the wall and runs a bit farther.

Using Py's eyes to see, Auger realizes he can do something he has not tried before. From where he sits he reaches into the mind of one of the red-masked assailants, focusing on the ones fighting with Varielky and Benita that are visible from Py's eyes. As he has done before he makes the foe experience the Sea of Stars in all its greatness and depth for a moment, perhaps causing it to question its sanity.

Varielky can feel her consciousness begins to slip away as her legs bleed too much. She has to end this fast, but these enemies stay out of her reach, which complicates things. Varielky attacks the man who pulled her twice, clearly going for the kill. If he's still alive after that, she tries to shove him off the ledge. Varielky is confused. Why would Ednyss say he's a Strewn? Oh, she gets it, but she wants to make more use of it. She shouts loudly, meaning to be heard by anyone around. At the very least, Varielky's reason is that if she can't see someone, they can't see her either. "They're going to the west! I'll go there and stop them! Benita, go towards the east in case they decide to circle around the suite! We'll jump on them the moment they emerge!" It might not work, but Varielky hopes the men will hear her and climb through the middle, where both Benita and she are stuck between the vines.
Action: Attack CR 5 twice. Attack: 21 Damage: 9. Attack: 27 Damage: 13. If the first strike misses/doesn't kill CR5, second strike will use Menacing Attack manoeuvre, if it hits. Varielky’s red-steel blade slices through RC5’s shoulder, then comes back around and chops through his neck, and the man’s head flies into the night. Someone on the street screams below at the grisly sight, while in front of Varielky, the man’s body drops, blood surging from it into the mulch.
Benita leaps onto the terrace railing, and sighting down below, then leaps to take hold of a vine and swings on it, slicing at RC6 as she goes. She slices him with her dagger for 5HP, and, as the cultist loses concentration on his spell, the carpet of thorny vines ages decades in seconds and decomposes to dust following which Benita continues swinging back up to the wall and pulls herself over it into T5, but not before RC7 reaches out and punches her for 3HP as she swings past.
RC6, Auger sees through Py’s eyes, moves laterally along the wall to E4, still 15’ below the terrace floor.
RC7’s vines lift him up to follow Benita, and he shoots more twisting vines at her, which she tries to parry with her two blades, but can’t bring them up in time. She takes 13HP damage as they pierce her side. She gasps in pain but she’s still up.
Two swarms of bees come zooming from the south end of the terrace along the west wall and find Ednyss. They attack, and all but a few are incinerated like fireflies by his Spirit Guardians. Those which remain do 2HP damage to the dwarf.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Varielky panics for a moment when Benita jumps off the building. As acrobatic as she might be, a fall from this height, especially when wounded already, could be lethal. She's eased to see Benita make it back, and when the vines disappear, Varielky can act freely.
Varielky runs towards the only man she can see. Then, she's about to swing her sword at the man, when another idea crosses her mind. Maybe it's the effect of studying Idiwala, but Varielky understands the importance of history now. Perhaps they can learn something from that man. At the last moment, Varielky quickly changes her grip to the blade, instead of the hilt. As long as she holds it carefully and tightly, she should not be cut. Now, the sword's blunt pommel is the part that swings at the enemy. If this manoeuvre fails, Varielky will try to knock the man prone, setting up for Benita to finish him off.
Move: To Q-6.
Action: Attack, making two attacks against CR7 (or one if he falls after the first blow). Both attacks are made to knock the opponent unconscious, rather than kill.
Attack: 13 Damage: 11.
Attack: 29 Damage: 19.
BA: If CR7 is still up, Varielky tries to bash him prone. Athletics: 8.
Varielky whacks RC7 hard against his temple with the pommel of her blade, and he spins and falls unconscious at her feet.
The remains of the bee swarm are incinerated, flaring briefly like fireflies, then their dry husks float away or fall to the terrace floor as the tiny, shimmering dwarf spirits raise their axes and shout “Ho! Ha!!” in unison whenever Ednyss ends his spell.
RC6 flees. The vines which were holding him up deposit him in the street among a crowd of onlookers which has gathered, and he sprints away. The vines which have anchored themselves to the side of the building seem to age in fast-motion, rot and fall off, then blow away down the street along with the day’s detritus and the never-ending dust from the Blistering Sands.
A smile crosses Auger's face as he observes Ednyss incinerate one assailant. His breath catches as he watches Benita move along the terrace. He gasps in disbelief as he watches Varielky behead one and then knockout another. Watching the final attacker run, Auger asks Py to pursue him and find where he comes from if possible. Then he brings his senses back to himself and concentrates on the fire, wondering if he can find a water source he can direct to put the fire out.
Ednyss breathes a sigh of relief as he rushes back around the corner and sees the rest of the assailants handled. Finally, not worried about being attacked, Ednyss sucks in a breath and releases. As he releases the breath, the tiny spirits raise their axes shouting a cry of victory before disappearing into harmless radiant energy that eventually evaporates as well. With the release of the spirits, the dwarven cleric falls to his knees again. Spots appear in his vision as he shakes his head to clear his mind. He needed to practice with his divine connection before using it battle next time. Ednyss had never drawn upon that level of power before, and using it for the first time when he was in a life or death situation was unwise. Remembering the shouts coming from below the war priest also calls up to the warlock. "Auger! There are civilians below. You might be the best person to calm them down and you can probably get to the ground the quickest and safest as well." After that, Ednyss winces as he stands back up. The dwarf was seriously injured and looking around, his allies were as well. Limping back to his room, he retrieves his shield and expends some divine energy from it to heal a few wounds on his allies.
Ednyss will cast a Level 1 Healing Word on Varielky, Benita, and Auger (if he's still around) from the shield. If Auger has already floated down to the civilians and is out of the 60-foot range of Healing Word he will give the extra to himself.
Auger comes down from the rooftop to the terrace, floating down as his coat flutters about him and gratefully accepts the healing that Ednyss extends.
"I sent Py after our attacker. The crowd will have to tend to itself. The suite is on fire! We have to get it out or get out of here! Where is Tamazaert and Sura do they -- do they live?"
Auger steps into the suite to see if there is anything he can do about the fire, whether via manipulation of water or any other means that present themselves.

You are now situated like so.

Round 9 results
Does anyone give chase to RC6?

Varielky heals 7 HP.
Benita heals 6 HP.
Auger (or Ednyss) heals 9 HP.
“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
