Round 1 The creature (G1) closest to you three (Onyx, Talion, Erven) screams and runs towards you awkwardly, jaws gnashing and tongue flopping, dripping slobber and pus everywhere! The stench is incredibly potent (see ** below)! It runs directly to Talion and will attack with its long, sharp claws! Attack:10Damage:10 slashing damage. *if it is a hit, make a Constitution saving throw, DC10. Failure = paralyzed for one minute.
Bertolt will pull the crossbow from his side, slamming and bolt into place and pulling back until it clicks into place. Stepping up while staying in range of the light given from Sho, he takes aim, quickly firing at the creature.
Attack: 12 Damage: 6
"These things are a joke! Shall we tear through them and be on our way?" He calls out, giving Talion a Bardic Inspiration Die. (A D6 at this level.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Onyx Constitution: 16
Onyx frowns as the creature closes the distance much faster than expected. He drops his crossbow, draws his longsword, and slashes upwards with two hands on the draw.
Attack: 19 Damage: 8

Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
Onyx sniffs the air but the stench doesn't affect him! He throws his sword forward but the creature moves out of the way - a miss - with a bit of concern, you realize these are not the same as the ghouls you fought earlier!
Talion, Erven - you're up!
BUT first, please both roll a constitution save please, DC 10.
If able, Erven disengages as well, moves to I 17. If G1 comes around the corner, he plans to shoot it with his long bow. If he is unable to move he will do something else..
Talion, you are able to steel himself against the creature's inhuman smell (a success).
Erven is not as lucky and is poisoned. [note your readied action].
G2 screams as it comes forward as well, a high-pitched scream of rage and anguish as it sees Onyx attacking the other creature. Seeing only Onyx in front of it, it will attack the brave paladin with its claws: Attack:25Damage:14 slashing damage. **if it is a hit, make a Constitution saving throw, DC10. Failure = paralyzed for one minute.
Sho, you know the following: this particular creature is called a "ghast." - It attacks with its claws or bites its victim. - The claw attack can cause paralyzation. - The ghast emits a stench that can poison if you're standing too close. - Ghasts are also resistant to necrotic damage and may be difficult for a cleric to turn. - There is a rumour that a ghast nearing death may be able to call forth a ghoul to fight for it...
Bertolt, having now seen the creatures, you realize with a sinking, sick feeling that you've seen them before, specifically in a painting on the landing of the first floor stairs. In spite of their transformation, their peeling and graying skin, and their decaying visages, it is none other than Mrs. Elisabeth Durst and Mr. Gustav Durst attacking you!
Talion, as both you and Erven run away from the fight this time, you pant and say, "I think it's a troll!
Onyx falls to the ground with a thud, paralyzed. G1 hops over him and runs the way that it saw Talion and Erven go.
***Erven, make your readied attack!***
It runs up screaming to Talion and swipes sharp claws at him: Attack:15Damage:10. **if it is a hit, make a Constitution saving throw, DC10. Failure = paralyzed for one minute.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As soon as the ghast turns the corner, Erven shoots the arrow in his bow. In his poisoned state, his arm isn't as steady as it usually is, but he aims to hit.
Attack: 16 Damage: 11
