The ghast (G1) is compelled backwards, screaming, by the harsh, discordant thrum of Bertolt's lute. G1ends up at H17 but before it does, it growls as Sho, Bertolt, and Ervan try their best to inflict damage through attacks of opportunity!
As the ghast G1 turns to flee, Erven takes the opportunity to snap the whip at his back.
AoO : Attack: 12 Damage: 8
Then, for his main action, he turns to strike at the other ghast G2 with another crack of his whip.
Whip vs. G2 : Attack: 12 Damage: 9
Afterwards, Erven takes the opportunity to move. He goes into stealth mode, hunkering down, using Mask of the Wild and his stealth skill to move back through the happy fun room to come up behind Lucky Bear and Onyx and hopefully flank G1. He moves as far as he can, ending up I15 or J15. He tries to remain hidden (and away) from G2.
Erven follows after Mr. Durst into the happy fun room, heading toward the southern portion of the room. He drops his whip and pulls out his rapier, readying for the next round. He realizes that he will be seen. He wishes to take out the ghast and check on Onyx.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Erven - as Erven watches the forced retreat of the ghast, he is inspired by some idea to run after it. He drops his whip and pulls out the rapier with a flourish, moving as quickly and quietly as possible. He will take double movement (movement and dash) to make it back to the still-paralyzed paladin.
Talion - the warlock moves up, seeing a bit of breathing room, and fills Talion's spot for an instant - long enough to rip a eldritch blast at G2! Despite show being in the way and giving G2 some cover, Talion's blast just hits - causing a large hole to appear in Madame Durst's mouldering torso, little flames catching bits of her robe on fire... a big hit!
fixing an above mistake, where G2 is still hexed by Talion, additional dex save for G2 or take the sacred flame damage: 21
Lucky Bear whines and wags her tail as she sees Erven, jumping up and giving him kisses....she even pees a little. She turns back towards the happy fun room and keeps holding at K15, in a protective stance beside Onyx. She takes the dodge action, hackles up!
G2- having heard the wail of pain of his dead wife, Mr. Durst moves dreadfully fast to E12 where takes his ire out on Sho: Attack:14Damage:12 **if it is a hit, make a Constitution saving throw, DC10. Failure = paralyzed for one minute.
Free action Erven looks down to see how the grumpy Paladin on the floor is doing, quickly scans the room.
for the briefest instant, you consider tickling Onyx's nose with a feather... The room is rather empty, the cloak that Talion was trying to take still on the floor and a foot locker full of things still opened, waiting for someone to take it..... ;)
Sho tilts his body as Talion's bolt just barely grazed over his shoulder, he bites down on his tongue and finds an opening to dug his blade into the vindictive ghast.
(( I don't understand. How did G2 move to E12? Does that mean G2 is flanked now? ))
Attack: 12 Damage: 3
If G2 is flanked then add appropriate flank bonus here.
G2is able to move because Bert's spell only uses the reaction. G2 is not flanked, but G1 would be considered flanked and +2 can be added to the attack roll...do you want to hit G2or G1?

Sho jabs his sword into the creepy ghast, wounding it more. It grunts and snarls, a promise of more pain to come!
End of Round 4!
Round 5:
G1 snarls at Sho, who just wounded it and lines him up for another attack! Attack:8Damage:8. **if it is a hit, make a Constitution saving throw, DC10. Failure = paralyzed for one minute **if it is a hit, also make another Constitution save for concentration on PfromG&E. ...
(( Well, they are trolls, so that is expected; are they regenerating from their wounds, or do they seem the worse for wear? ))
No, they are not regenerating as far as you can tell. They both seem hurt and wounded but not grievously so. They seem like they have some steam left in them.
Not wanting to use the last of his spells for the day, Bertolt stows his lute away once more and focuses on G2 since that is the one that is easiest for him to see. "You know those portraits of your family are fake if this is what you look like. But perhaps you should take your face from one to use as a mask."
Vicious Mockery: 4 unless it passes a DC 14 wis save.

Erven is satisfied that no one is attacking Onyx, so he turns quickly and grabs the cloak off the floor, putting it on as he runs. “Maybe this will help. Time for you to be put down, Mr. and Mrs. Durst.” He has has rapier already out, runs to H13 to flank G2, and attacks Mrs. Durst!

"Onyx. Onyx! Get up!" Sho calls out, seeing the ghast runs off towards his direction.
"What about Lathander?" He gnashes his teeth, "Don't you love this life he gave you so freaking much?! Do better than this!"
Bertolt will move to attempt a slash at the thing as it runs, setting his lute down carefully.
Shortsword: Attack: 7 Damage: 5
(I am not sure if from my position on the map I could get one.)
