If no-one objects, Talion will take the hammer and nails and put them in his pack to go with the pitons he carries. Then he looks at the rest and lays them out. "I'd take those if no-one else wants them" he says pointing at a pile that contains a rope, a tinderbox and a mess kit. "The rest? I'm easy."

When he is done, he asks Erven to help him check the room for hidden exits etc.
Erven will take the hunting trap if no one else is interested. "I had one of these before we went through that crazy dream - - seems so long ago! Let me help you look for anything hidden in here - -"

Sho watches as Talion drags the bulky chest into the small room with unmatched perseverance, he holds his holy symbol to his chest as he closes his eyes and prays silently, ‘O Lord, help me not to despise or oppose what I do not understand’, before stepping into the room.
He glanced at the display of the items that Talion had already laid out, “Rations would be useful, though I do not imagine we have enough trust to consume them... yet. For a more desperate time, then. ” He does takes the three wooden stakes, having a faint feeling that they may be useful... somehow.
Bertolt all take the paper, doing his best to carefully store it so that it can avoid damage or at the very least mitigate some. As the others explore the room he will stay near the door, his crossbow at the ready as he attempts to listen for sounds that are not his companions moving about.

You stay near the door at the ready and your gaze drifts to the door. Curiously, it seems to be moving - rather, the etchings seem to be moving. The carvings are of youths dancing in the forest. Upon closer inspection, you notice that the youths aren't really dancing but fighting off swarms of bats. Shaking your head at the sight, you keep look out on the main room. You snort at the mess the mage hand has caused. You hear loud chittering and screeching coming from the fireplace across the room. A sound like scratching claws on cement becomes louder and louder, and the shrieks of pain and fury increase as the muffled sound seems to travel from the ceiling down. Finally, the fire dims for a moment and flickers...and then a rushing torrent of bats spews forth towards you! They are all pointy ears, gnashing teeth, and screeching in pain and fury as they head towards Bertolt, Onyx, and Sho, who are in the main hall while Erven and Talion are in the room. The swarms of bats take some fire damage as they come down the chimney!: 2

MAP - I can get this up soon but basically: - Tal and Erv are in the room - Sho is by the door looking in at the bounty - Bert is keeping guard next to her - Onyx is in the main room a few feet off - maybe trying out his new armor?
S2 - This swarm flies out of the fireplace, fur on fire, screeching rending the stillness of the room! It madly flits towards Onyx before making an attack on him, engulfing the paladin in a cloud of wings, fire, and teeth! Attack:5Damage:4 + 4 fire damage! (fire damage applies even if the attack doesn't hit)
S1 - This swarm, a stinking cloud of lit fur and and ear-piercing shrieks, comes down on Bertolt and will attack the bard! Attack:8Damage:6 + 2 fire damage! (fire damage applies even if the attack doesn't hit)
Next up - Sho, Erven, and then the rest! Feel free to post your actions!
Note - the swarm is considered tiny and occupies another character's space. If you're going to attack it, it's with disadvantage!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Talion curses, both literally and figuratively -- at the bats and and at the tight press of people, and his own slow reactions. For the moment, he will hang back, attacking the nearest target from a distance.
Bonus Action: Hex (pretty sure we had a rest, if we didn't then it's still running, so transferred )
Bertolt grunts in pain but suddenly begins to make a low humming noise that seems to hold a strange tone to it, grabbing for his lute as he lets the arcane energy build into it. He will cast Dissonant Whispers on the swarm surrounding him.
The swarm needs to make a dc 14 wis save or take 11 damage and move away if it falls. If it passes it takes half and doesn't move.

Onyx grits his teeth against the swarm, feeling the heat and pain despite his new armor. This was not a foe for a blade. Instead, he draws upon his inhuman nature to defend himself. A pale green gas leaks from the gaps and joints of his gauntlets as he casts poison spray targeting the swarm in his space.
The swarm must make a DC 14 Con Save or take 11 poison damage.

Sho whips back as he notices the screeching and flaming sounds shooting out of the firepit. Swarms of rats covered in flames engulf both of his companions as he instinctively reaches out his hands and letting the spectral extension attack the pest clouds, before retreating a couple steps back behind the stairs.

@Sho - both attacks hit the swarm of bats and it takes the damage [was considering not allowing this spell since it says 'creature' but whatevs]. Both swarms are still roiling strong.
@Erven - you slash at the swarm but at the last second they dodge your attack, much like the murmurations of birds you've seen in your travels in the wild...a miss!
@Onyx - CON save for S2 - 18 The swarm takes the damage. Thanks to your heritage, you are immune from such things! @Bertolt - WIS save for S1 - 20 The swarm fails and flutters away from you, screaming, through Erven's area and will try to fly up the stairs! It doesn't get far - see below! @Talion - when was the last time you used hex? Against the zombies, right? It's getting close to an hour I'd say but I'll allow it. (more to come) - the target closest to you begins to fly away but luckily you release your blast at it turns the swarm into dust!S1 is no more!
S2 - continues to attack Onyx: Attack:23 Damage: 8 The flames on the swarm fizzle out - no damage from fire!

If there is space around the bats when it is his turn to move, Talion grips firmly on the meat cleaver in his left hand and draws his dagger. A look of disgust crosses his face as he approaches, trying to strike from a position of advantage.
Attack 1: 9 Damage: 4+ 6 necrotic
Attack 2: 10 Damage: 3+ 6 necrotic
If it hits, add 2 bludgeoning as well. Note that the first damage value is piercing, so 6 piercing, 4 necrotic and 2 bludgeon...
(( I have assumed +2 to attack from standing opposite someone ))
Scratch the second attack: he has to use the bonus action to transfer the hex!!!

Gripping the wound from th swarm, Bertolt stares daggers at the remaining one, gripping his lute tightly as he begins to play once more, letting the magic of his song flow. "Flutter back to the putrid hole of the abyss you were excreted out of you flaming rats!"
Vicious Mockery: It needs to pass a dc 14 wisdoms save or take 1 damage.
