While others are talking to Doru, Erven is not. When Sho lights his circlet, Erven instantly moves away from it, heading north. He wants to stay in the complete darkness, out of sight of the creature. This is now his nature, a stalker of the undead in the gloom and darkness. He extends his gaze, able to see 90 feet out in the dark and looks for any movement. Also he looks on the floor, as a tracker, looking for footprints and tracking the movement of the undead vampire spawn. He is invisible to anyone relying on darkvision for sight.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
You don’t see Doru and you notice many many tracks - barefoot, humanoid - and also boots. You can’t get a sense from the tracks where it could be, but judging on where the light is and where it dims, and where darkness begins, you could infer that Doru is probably in one of the corners of the room. Question is, are you going to keep going to try to find/confront the creature......?
Erven silently stalks the creature, his arms are tense, he is intent on finding it. No outward hostility yet, but he knows in his mind what must be done.

Talion scans the roof nearby to make sure Doru is not hiding in the rafters above them, then tilts his head to a different angle, waiting for another sound, trying to locate it. Keep talking, we'll find you. "You father was attacked by the same one who attacked us. A friend of yours, no doubt."
Doru is not on the roof near you. You hear a sharp gasp. "Father attacked?! Is he okay? Who attacked him?! Are you lying, warlock? I can smell your stench. I can hear your tainted blood knock in your veins, can smell that fiery friend of yours...And who pads after me in the darkness, I wonder? A friend of yours?" Again, laughing - pained laughter, desperate, sad - "I have no friends left anymore..."
Doru seems increasingly agitated and angry, but you hear genuine worry in his voice as well...

12 - Everlie perception to find Doru.
Hand reaching out, seeking, Everlie does his best to listen to the voice of the monster and follow it.
“Your father was attacked by the demon elf Rahadin,” Everlie says softly, hoping the creature strains to hear and so comes closer. “Now we’re here to get you for your father… he sends us down to fetch you.”

“Your father was attacked by the demon elf Rahadin,” Everlie says softly, hoping the creature strains to hear and so comes closer. “Now we’re here to get you for your father… he sends us down to fetch you.”
Within the area that is illuminated, you don't see or hear Doru. However, at the mention of Rahadin, Doru screams, "Rahadin!??!? Ahhhhhhgh! That bastard elf butcher! I'll kill him! I'll kill him!"
Everlie roll deception please, with advantage! *not sure why that roll didn't show up - it was a 22 but....let's see if i can fix it...
[before Everlie's words] "I can't see you, dark walker, but I hear you. Hear your heart beating, blood pulsing...don't get too close, last warning. What are you going to do to me, eh?"
Just to help you visualize, Sho's light spell gives a 20 foot radius of bright light originating at him. So, if you think of an arc from F8 to J4 that's all bright light. On top of that, for another 20 feet is dim light. So there really can only be one area that Doru could be.....
[I beg of you, just be as specific and precise as possible in your intentions. I really want to avoid any issues here.]
Okay, so just by way of a summary:
- Everlie, Erven, and Bertolt are on the ground floor. The rest are on the stairs. - Erven, if you want to benefit from Umbral Sight, you need to be in darkness. The only darkness is in the northwest corner of the room....do you want to go there? If not, then Doru can see you right now. The last dimly lit squares are: C5, D4, E4, E3, F3, F2, G2, and G1. Theoretically you could go somewhere past those squares and be in darkness again. Let me know what you'd like to do. - Doru is becoming more and more unhinged. Perhaps it's the smell and sound of the blood around him, perhaps it's the attitude of the party, or perhaps it's possibility that his father might be hurt. But it seems clear to even the most dull of you that this situation cannot sustain itself....
At Dory’s reaction to Rahadin’s name, Everlie would change what he was going to say…
“Yes! We all want that demon dead… Come! Help us slay the beast!”
Deception: 15 Though Everlie *would* be open to this guys help slaying Rahadin… so not sure deception?
Well, yes however, saying that Donavich asked you to "fetch him" I think Doru would consider possibly sketchy. Due to his current state, that's why I asked you to roll with advantage.

Alright. Doru, in the state he is in, believes you Everlie about his father wanting or needing him. You all hear and see a tall, thin figure enter your field of vision in the dim light area at C5, not upright but crawling on the roof like a spider. It drops down and crouches, holding its head. "Your blood! I can smell it! I can.....hear it!!! Father!!! Father!!!" It looks at you, "I need to go to him if that creature is near!!!"
MAP - the white is the extent of the bright light, currently. The purple is the limit of the dim light. This will move if Sho moves.
Erven freezes still at D1-E1, in the dark. If the light moves forward, Erven plans to move along the wall in the dark toward A1. He is watching to see how this will play out, if Doru agrees to go upstairs (and into the light.)

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"C'mon, my friend. Your father is just up these steps... We'll bring you right to him," Everlie assures while he slowly moves towards Doru. He keeps his sword behind him and reaches out with his other friend, palm up, as a friend looking to offer assistance would. "He's resting now, but will need all the protection he can get..."
Everlie goes at perhaps half movement speed, not wanting to frighten or startle Doru. Everlie definitely stops short of him though, preferring for Doru to come to him on his own...
(For specifics sake, Everlie straight towards the left of the map ending in F6...)
Doru moves forward a bit , towards the stairs. He looks at your outstretched hand, Everlie, then back at the stairs. He moves to around G4 and stops when he sees Sho and Talion there, “And Are your friends going to let me through, friend?”
Everlie continues approaching in the same manner. If and when he gets into combat range of Doru he smiles gently and says "I will bring you to your father..." and then attempts a Shove Attack upon him, trying to knock him prone.
Shove Attack: 14 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
