Mist shrugs. "Oarsfella was a stone giant, wasn't he? I don't know much about giants but that seems to makes sense to me. Might've been one of his trophies or some such."
He looks around the room, at the ceiling and floor, and the path ahead.
"Tuk! Go look ahead and tell us where to go."
"I'll tell ya where to go, you ungrateful little...""GO!"
You feel a light breeze as the invisible imp swoops by, down the corridor.
A large stone table and pair of stone chairs rest in the center of this large dining chamber. A massive wax candle on the table provides dim illumination.
One wall is dominated by a large basrelief depicting giants at a feast. On top of the stone table is a half-devoured sheep carcass and two place settings. The carcass is skewered by a pair of long swords, which had apparently been used to carve and serve the meat. One of the place settings is covered in bones and old food while the other is untouched.
Stacked haphazardly in the corners of this room are statues of sheep.
The bas-relief depicts a storm giant marrying a cloud giant. Giants of all kinds all raise their cups in celebration of the royal couple. Strangely, the cups appear real - set in the wall rather than carved.
Looking around the room "If you could keep an eye out for minute I will check to see if there is anything magical about these cups" Aubric will then prepare and perform the Detect Magic ritual.
" It's been awhile since I saw someone with worse table manners than my siblings." Gintarou peers into the chamber with the greatsword in his hand. " Whoever ate the sheep, they must be huge… and don't like vegetables too."
The six giants depicted are a female storm giant bearing a trident aloft, and the cloud giant she is marring, a fire giant wizard, a stone giant sage, a hill giant poet, and a frost giant knight.
Mist's eyes narrow as he strokes his chin and paces around the room, taking it in. He walks by each of the bas-relief giants and cranes his neck to peer up at it, inspecting the details carefully. Passing by the storm giant without a second glance, he stops in front of the cloud giant. Slowly he reaches up...and slaps it on the shin as he turns and dives under the table. The halfling pokes his head out from behind one table leg to see if anything happened.
Shadow do me a favor and roll 4d6, then repeat that 5 more times. LOL. Just kidding. nothing happens.
XD
"Looks like there's nothing to see here... I guess we should just be on our way..." Mist says loudly as he reemerges from under the table. He grabs a piece of bone or some small piece of something laying about and tosses it up into one of the cups and moves to duck back below but hesitates and looks back to see if anything happens.
If nothing happens, he'll just shrug to the rest of the group and see if anyone else has any bright ideas before nodding his head toward the large stairs going up to the north.
Kraven will take a look at all the giants closely and then fly up and around the cups in the wall and see if any of them match somehow the different type of giants.
“Oi Mist! Do you really think it's a good idea? Shouldn't we wait till… Oh no! No! " Gintarou runs back to the corridor when the halfling slaps at the cloud giant. He waits, waits and waits…… nothing happens. The chamber isn't engulfed in flame. Giants are still frozen in the stone. And Mist doesn't melt into a silver soup that smells like lavender. The warrior cautiously peers into the dining chamber and curses. " Damn you Mist! Do you want to blow us into pieces! And what if the owner of this place changes their mind and comes back to have some dessert! "
Druquilla shakes her head at Mist's actions before stepping in front of the basrelief, her eyes scanning one giant then the next.
"A union of storm and cloud, I wonder if this union brought forth the Oarsman," Druquilla remarks her eyes on the storm giant. "Or it brought his opposite, a ruler of the skies who does battle with the ruler of the seas. The first would explain the Oarsman's power the second would explain the cloud golems attacking the followers."
A moment of thought later her eyes drift to the cups the giants are holding, "These look odd though, they do not look to be carved like the rest but more placed into the relief itself."
Druquilla moves into range to attempt to cast Mage Hand causing a few of her spectral fish to appear and try to pry one of the cups out of the wall.
((I would say no on the first question, as they are not actually fish but intangible nature spirits that have taken on the appearance of fish as part of the connection Druquilla made with them. For the second question, if there are six cups then she would take the cup 3 from the left edge of the wall.))
" You guys are really bold." Gintarou carefully approaches the cups. " That reminds me… The dragon princess demanded treasure. We better pick as much as possible, before going down the mountain " He reaches for the cup of a stone giant sage and tries to pull it off.

The whole basrelief lights up, you are getting two things, first you are getting Enchantment and you are getting Evocation as well.

(How many cups are there? How large are they? How high up are they?)

Mist definitely gets under the table for this.
