( In case Kraven hasn't liked last infected Oahtu )
Great Staff
Attack : 22 Damage: 16
Bonus : 10 Damage: 8
" I hate this place! " Gintarou swears as he brings down the great staff on the last Oahtu's head. " I really hate this stupid place! Why couldn't they make a wider corridor!? I can't even swing my weapon properly! "
Between Kravens daggers and Gintarou's attacks the creature falls.
Off in an alcove at the corner of the room is a bulbous shell of hardened oahtu saliva. Although the secretion is opaque, it appears to be covering something up - it’s clear the infected oahtu are poor masons compared to their living kin.
The tough shell is a large round hump, its exterior hard and gray. Small cracks in the top glow with a barely-visible silver light. Despite the smell of mold, there is a fresh, wholesome fragrance here, like new spring lilacs. All of the infected oahtu’s tools and possessions are far from this hump, as if they avoided coming close to it.

"A bit odd, innit?" Mist says after the last infected Oahtu falls. "There's just this big ol' button sittin' right here in plain sight an' doesn't seem like they want to push it..."
Freb silently floats the halfling over to the hardened shell in the corner and Mist taps it carefully. He bites his lip and inspects it as he checks to see how sturdy it is at the edges, lightly flicking the bits around the cracks to see if they flake off.
"Ooh pretty..." Mist says, the light of the flower dancing in his large eyes. Looking back to Kraven he just shrugs and asks, "What for?" before returning his attention to the following flower.
He touches a petal. Sniffs it. Licks it.
Does he get any hint as to what the flower is all about our does it just keep glowing as far as he can tell?
"Huh... Tingly," Mist comments. Looking back to the others, he says, "Anyone feeling a bit off? These seem to help with the effects of those blasted spores they keep blowing at us." He shrugs.
"Other than that... Onward?"
Once everyone's done touching flowers, he'll wait for one of the meat shields to lead the way forward.
"these look like they can't be taken with us, Ill save it for later." Lilia says as she reaches out and touches 2 of the petals. 15 + 23 my bad I fotgot to change the 20s to 4s, 67 for a total of 13HP and she is ride of both her levels of Spore

Lilia will touch the remaing 5
You continue to move on. the next chamber is enormous compared to the others - with an arched cathedral-like ceiling that peaks the equivalent of 30 ft. above the characters' heads. The smell of decay here is nearly overpowering, like a sack of rotten food left in the hot sun. Every surface in the chamber is covered in mold or fungus of somekind. Along the walls, the growths seem to have been arranged into patterns resembling the windows and graceful arches of a temple. Webs of slimy mold string through the air between them, like a spider web, or a network of corrupted veins.
The focus of the room is a large orb of green slime, rising from the center of the floor like a globe on a pedestal. When you investigate the orb recognize that it is a globe - a globe of the world fashioned from living mold. The shapes of the continents and major islands of the Great Sea are crudely depicted, as if recreated from memory. More strings of vein-like slime spread from a small island in the center of the globe and stretch to touch every other location upon it.
All the growth in the room stems from the large doorway leading to the heart of the tree just beyond. A pair of closed double doors made of wood-like slabs of hardened fungus blocks the way forward.
"Don't rightly like the look o' this. Seems ominous, innit? Kraven, you mind takin' a peek at those doors? Looks to be the only way forward. See if we run across a stroke o' luck and find 'em unlocked or summat."
He waves a hand at the orb and attempts to prestidigitate the filth away to see what's at the center.

Kraven lands on the ground and starts to move toward the item to inspect it and then sees Mist move towards it and quickly backs up, just in case.
Hiding around the corner you hear, "Want me to inspect this type of stuff first in the future?"
Mist you pick at it parts of it come off easyily, then you catch a part and puller harder than you thought you were and the shell falls apart.
Inside is a bright yellow blossom within 5 of its petals are glowing with soft silver-blue light.

As you touch the petals, it stops glowing and it looks just like the other petals. You restore 6 and you lose a level of spore exposure

Kraven is good, I believe he only has one spore level, and it at full health, so he is good.
(Might as well nix those spores before the boss fight... This feels like the final save point before the final battle.)
