Eventually Mist gets tired of listening to all the talk. He reaches in his pack and unceremoniously tosses the robe he found in a chest onto the table in front of Cendrail.
"If we're to stand around gabbin', you mind telling me what you make of that there? Is it some sort of ceremonial robe used for the ancient dark arts and ritualistic sacrifices? That'd be pretty neat. Oh! Or the robe of some long-dead archmage whose name is lost to the tomes of history? That'd work too, I suppose. It cuts a fine dash on me regardless but it'd be a cut above if it had some sort of story to it!"
(Mist has absolutely no idea what it is and no reason to think it's magical, so no. He just thinks it looks awesome and is hoping it has a story. I'm hoping Cendrail or Aubric would cast identify on it.)
"Beni." After a short pause again "BENI..... BEEENNNNIII! Oh where did that girl go. By any ways she can look into some. I've seen nothing of this in my studies."
Gintarou shows the golden compass to the old wizard." Good morning Cendrail-dono. We have retrieved the artifact as you ordered. And your friend Magnus-dono… he has returned with us too, a kind of…. He died in the old temple but became a ghost. He is now, staying with me." Said the warrior, pointing to his head.
"Was wholly against my emphatically-stated better judgement, it was! The big guy was nice to have between myself and danger but now there's no telling who's in control and I don't trust that Magnus fella! Tried to get in my head first! What a jerk..."
Kraven continues to walk circles around the room out of boredom, he was never one for long speeches. He inches closer to the door and quietly tries to open it to leave the room unnoticed as his friends present the compass to Cendrail. If he sees that no one is watching him he will leave and look at the surrounding area and see if anything catches his eye. looking at other doors in the area.
Kraven with your perception you would have no clue if anyone notices or cares that you have left the Observatory, you walk down and try to open every door you come by is that correct?
“Now big man, I want to inspect the compass some, run a few tests on it, and see what I can make of it, hand it over.” and Cindrial sticks his hand out waiting for you to put the compass in his hand.
Knowing where he is he would look at any of the doors first before grabbing any. If any of them look ornate he would check them first before grabbing them. However if any of the doors look ordinary or well used he would just open them. Not necessarily trying to hide himself, but then again, he would prefer not to be caught.
A plain wooden door. In Elvish there is a single word on the door
A plain stone door with nothing on it
A stone door that looks like you're looking through beer goggles while looking at it, there are ruins and glyphs all over the door.
A metal door, that looks like it is more locking something in, rather than people out
This is the door into his lab, stone and has magical runes on it, there is more than 1 knob, and each looks to have it’s own lock on it.
This is a stone door with two different knobs on it
A metal door that has 4 knobs and 4 different locking points, no locking point or knob seem to be next to each other nore does there seem to be a pattern.
Another stone door this one has 5 knobs on it, each knob has a glyph on it, and a locking mechanism with it. There are also 5 more glyphs on the door
This is a basic wooden door nothing special about it except the very teenager like sign on it that reads in common “Beni’s room stay out”
This next door is a metal door with a single knob on it, no glyphs, or other markings
A wooden door with two knobs each with a basic lock and a glyph in the middle
On the main floor there are two doors, the one into the tower
And then a wooden door that is open
Do you try and open any of these doors if so which one?
Gintarou frowns at the old wizard's coldness. " Is that all? Your friend literally has come back from his grave…" He slowly hands the golden compass to Cindrial. " And…Hey, Magnus-dono! I Do you have anything to talk about with your old friend?" Gintarou calls to the ghost.
Kraven turns round and round looking at all the doors, especially the more elaborate doors and is extremely curious as to what lays beyond them. I am sure no one would mind if I just go in and take a peek, as he tilts his head at the elven word but then is drawn to the metal door (#10) as it just calls to him. All the other doors seem boring or places I really shouldn't go into, yet, but this door, what is up with this door, there has got to be something exciting behind it.
Kraven then stares intently at the door checking to see if there is anything hidden about the door to reveal what is inside. Then he will reach out and open it.
Kraven opens the door and he is looking in on a small Library. Now when I say small, I mean on a grand scheme of things. For a private collection it is rather large, however it's also not the size that you would have been expecting, less than 100 books in total. There does seem to be some books on magic, but it's only a small section of them. The bulk of the books are history. The second largest section of books is on the stars and the astral plane. Then a small section of fiction books, 1 that pops out to your attention because it's a know smut book is Tusk Love. Now the sitting situation in this room is amazing, how do you like to sit? There is a chair for that, a corner with pillows, a bed looking thing, cushions just sitting on the floor, and all different kinds of chairs and couches. As you get close to one of these sitting areas it for a lack of better way of putting it lights up. Making for perfect reading light. You find a chair that looks extra fluffy, and like Cendrail would be just a little too small to sit in, making it pretty much the perfect chair for him to sit in. Next to the chair is a table with 2 books the first ones cover reads Der Katzenprinz, on the first line and then The Cat Prince translated to common by Bren A. E. Under that is the book The Daring Trials and Tribulations of Sir T.D.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kraven walks around the room mostly nu-impressed, however the Tusk Love book and the Daring Trials book somehow end up in his bag. He does look at the chair and makes a mental note he will have to acquire one someday as it does look rather comfy. He will then leave the library and stand in front of the the odd stone door with two knobs on it (#6). Studying the knows and the mechanism on how to open it.
As his hand reaches out for the knobs he thinks, I probably should return to the group but these doors and rooms are just so interesting and I might not get another chance to look in them.

Neither knob has a lock on it. The two are one on top of the other, neither at normal knob height, one is lower one is higher. Pick a knob to try and open the door.
Watching the Cendrail take the compass from Gintarou Aubic asks politely "The temple seemed quite amazing. Unusal for a star temple to be located underground. Do you know who built it?"

"I believe the girl said she was going to bed," Druquilla states rather coldly. "Did you have the poor girl up waiting for us the entire night?"
