" I guess these plants were fixing his body. Damning creepy creepers! ! " Gintarou forces his sick body to carry the infected bodies. He throws them into the hole that Mist dug and starts to make fire with shaking hands. " We have to do something. " He says. " We have to find a countermeasure that can prevent their breath weapon. Or we will end up as seedbeds like these guys… Hey Fell One. " Gintarou turns his gaze to the Elf. " You lived on this island with those cursed plants for quite some time. Do you know anything… anything that can neutralize their poison spore? "
(I seem to remember we were reaching about the time of day/night where we were talking about a long rest. If that's the case, once the bodies are burnt, Mist will go make himself comfortable and offer to block up the door again if everyone wants it.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Before the bodies are burnt Kraven will look them over to see if they have any information on them.
Perception: 22
Then fly up a bit and see what is around the area, specifically seeing if there are any animals around that he can kill and use for food, hopefully a couple of animals so he can throw one of the carcasses to the lizard.
Survival: 24
Once done, he will huddle in the room with the rest, trying to make some type of nest up near the ceiling so he can keep watch and will take the first nights watch.
Kraven you don't find anything interesting or informative on their bodies. However I did forget to point out that The Voice's body does decompose very quickly.
As for hunting you find plenty of bugs that are currently large in your eyes, any where from 4 to 8 feet. Wait no that's not right, they are just under an inch to an inch and a half, how hard it is to remember that you are less than an inch tall right now. None the less you do find some ants and a cricket that you are able to bring back as food for yourself and the iguana. Do me a favor and make 1 more perception or investigation check on the iguana.
With the door closed up by Mist the guard shifts go off with out a problem.
With this long rest everyone can move down 1 level of spore exposure.
" Never mind. I didn't expect much… " Gintarou shrugs.
@Everyone
While the party takes a long rest, the warrior discusses with other adventurers how to counter the stinky breath of infected creatures." I have heard that you can prevent breathing smoke when you wear a wet cloth as a mask. Perhaps it can prevent poisonous spores too. And Mist ,can you tell your Cloud Golem to stand between us and the infected when they use their breath weapon? Or Druquilla, can your fish hold a leaf and use it like a giant fan? … The mushroom zombies can only use their breath weapon once and they prefer to use it first. If we could prevent it, then all they can do is bite and scratch like drunken monkeys."
" Don't get me wrong." Gintarou waves his hand to calm down the Elf." I assumed that the reason you survived this place for so long was because you avoided direct combat with the infected as much as possible. Which is a wise move. I have seen quite a few young men who died on the battlefield because those fools thought they were too manly to hide."
@Mist
" No worries. I was a soldier. In battle, there was always someone in my way when I tried to cut off the enemy's head. I learnt how to attack opponents without hitting friends. " The warrior yawns and puts his head on his bag. " Are there more ideas to save us from being mushrooms? Anything will be welcomed."
You wake up in what feels like the morning, Mist molds earth opening the doorway back up. There is dew on the plants, except the drops are huge compared to your current form. The path that the vine had made is now gone, but The Fell One knows the way, and he takes point, Gintarou keeping the staff in the bag of holding the compass is pointing the direction that The Fell One is taking you all.
As you move you see that the plant life has less and less life to it, the smells of mold and decomposing vegetation gets stronger. Everyone keeping a watchful eye looks at the same area, and through the death of some bush you see a clearing of sorts, where the wild overgrowth that covers the island is thinner. What plants do grow here seem healthier - their colors vibrant, foliage lush. In the center of this healthier area is a pitcher flower with brilliant red petals.
Gintarou looks at the compass and it is twitching between the direction you have been traveling and the clearing.
Do you continue on or do you go and investigate the clearing?

@ Everyone ( except the Fell one )
Gintarou waits till the Fell One is away and whispers to other adventurers. "Not knowing why, but I feel the Elf doesn't like me much. Keep eyes on him please. I don't want to get scratch on my back when the enemy comes and bites me "
When they reach the cleaning, Gintarou stares at the a pitcher flower and mutters. " Very interesting. The nasty weeds around the flower doesn't look good. Could that be the cure to our condition? "
Your not sure anything specific about the flower however, what you do see and notice is that there are extremely small shards, they are too small to fit into the compas, that seem to have cut their way into the flower a bit.
The wind blows and hits the flower hard, and you see a large drop of water fall out of it. When the drop hits the groud a small wave of energy pushes out and a little more life comes back to the clearing.
" Thank you, Kraven. Now it's time to take my chances. " Gintarou empties his water skin. Thanks to Mist and his cantrip, the party doesn't need to worry about water any more. " Let me try that water. If it cures me that's good for us. If it doesn't or kills me… then treat my body like others " Slowly and carefully, the giant walks through the cleaning and approaches the flower. He will put the water into his water skin, take a sip and wait to see what will happen to his body.

"I have not found much of a way to take care of that stuff yet." The Fell One looks and seem to be honest.

If yes see rolls below.

Nobody can see you Kraven, and you don't really see much. When you look closer at the flower you see that there is water in.
