Contestants come out to do battle in the complex. Basil steps out to make introductions. As he stands before each of you he introduces you to the crowd.

The blue dragon-man has sparks bristling between his teeth with the smile accompanying his introduction. He moves with agility and speed unfitting of his size and strength. "The ground shakes like thunder when he approaches, and he'll strike with a flash like lightning. His speed isn't the only thing that'll shock you in this battle. Look out for... Nykkan Far Narthen Nost!"

The turtle-man holds his giant sword aloft with one hand. His victory brings him greater strength. "Natural armor with supernatural might. Don't fear the boogeyman when this hunter is here to protect us. Defending the night! It's Calgin!"

A human man, as big as they come, carries a simple sword, but he wields it elegantly. "From a distant land where people are just bigger than I'm used to, a man comes seeking to master his martial skill. Watch as he develops a new monastic tradition exploring greater uses for his ki. Let's see what you've got! Ramal!"

A human man in new armor protecting his softer areas looks over his competition. He looks ready, but he knows the others can pull off some useful tricks. "Brought to us by agents of the dark world below, he fights! But to what end? Time will tell... Shmitty Jackson!"

The forest girl, her Elven grace shows through her otherwise disheveled appearance. She looks like she may have spent the night in a tree. Twigs remain trapped in the weave of her hair. "The wild forest dweller, fights on in spite of growing losses. Will she bring something new to the table today? Show us what you're made of! Grianne!"

Another human man, this one less impressive physically. His knowing eyes show a different strength. A layer of frost has accumulated on his cloak as though it were not a clear day, and to those more attentive observers, snowflakes appear to be falling, or blowing, around his person. "He's studied fighting and tactics in his books... And its paid off. Lets see what else you can gain from a cold life of quiet study... The Frigid Eider!"

(Yes and yes. Climbing through the Windows or onto the furniture costs extra movement. Also having high ground will give you advantage in melee against a target you can see.)
