(OOC: ok I was confused cause you mentioned recovering from my nat 1 in a earlier poat, so Gabriel was able to charge into the room but didn't attack on round 1, took damage, now on round 2 I am still keeping my nat 1 attack roll? Having no idea I was gunna get hurt before I swung can I change my action to lay hands on myself, I can keep that nat for round 3 if you like?)
(I’m sorry if I added to the confusion. I presumed that the initiative we rolled was solely for the goblin that came over the rise, and that once dispatched a new initiative would be used for the charge into the next chamber.)
(If this actually works, I'm going to laugh. A slender, 5'6", 128 lb half-elf wizard successfully tackling a burly goblinoid who obviously has considerable strength and is probably twice his weight.)
(I was under the idea it was a surprise round, that Alarion hit the one goblin with his dagger, the goblins turn went by with Klarg yelling and we all go to charge. It was my bad for not figuring out what the dm had in his mind what was going on.)
(OOC If everyone in the party wants to say nothing happened since the 1st goblin went down and wants to re-roll initiative, I'm fine with that. I'm a referee, not a Gawd (except as a PC in my other campaign lol) My main concern is keeping play going efficiently and fairly. I made a call, but if everyone unanimously wants to turn back time, I won't have a problem with that. If it's not unanimous, then it could be tricky again!)
I say we keep going the way we are, but I'm good either way. (I just don't want to lose the amazing mental image of Alarion trying to tackle Klarg-and having a decent chance of success, based on that Athletics roll, too)
(I say we keep going, as well. If we can survive this, we’ll have a great story to tell. It’s not every day you see a spindly wizard try to grapple a big ol’ goblinoid!)
(Kathrine should be on standby for when Alarion gets knocked unconscious though. There's no way I'm getting through this conscious, and I knew that when I decided to tackle the creature that near killed the paladin.)
(Oh, right. Even so, when he attacked, it would have nearly outright killed Alarion if he had been the target and it had hit. Crossing my fingers my mage armor deflects the worst of the blows, at least long enough to keep the rest of you alive. And if I fall, I fall in a blaze of glory defending the rest of the party.)
(If that happens my next bard character will sing tales of Alarion, but we are still good)
Yeah. The dice would have to hate me for that to happen. Either Klarg would have to roll max damage and hit me (~1.5% Chance altogether) or I would have to somehow fail all 3 death saves before Kathrine or Gabriel could reach me (roughly 12.5% chance of failing all 3 in a row, which still assumes neither can get to me.) It can happen, but it probably won't.
(I’ll be interested to see how this resolves, ‘cause Rowen’s shot would have immediately followed the wolf’s attack and with sneak attack damage added, might kill it and undo Grzak’s switch of target. Round 2 could still have Alarion jumping on Klarg. Man, this is fun!)
(The wolf is most likely toast, if Alarion tackles the bugbear he will have to use his turn to get free, and hopefully Graz and Gabriel can lay into him, and if he doesn't get free we get advantage which considering how poorly the virtual dice roll for me is a huge deal lol.)

Gabriel keeps his feet despite the ferocious wolf attack, taking 10hp damage.
And yes, unfortunately, if I keep Rowan's, I keep yours etc, so your attack will be unlikely to hit even the cave wall ;p

Alarion mutters "This is a horrible idea" as he runs forward to try to tackle Klarg and keep him from attacking the others.

Rowen will aim at the wolf.

(Grzak will henceforth look upon the wiry little half-elf with new respect for even attempting such a maneuver.)

(The wolf is what mauled my happy butt, at least with heavy armor mastery it's only 7 damage.....lol ouch)

(Rowan you get to roll sneak attack damage cause the wolf is next to me.)
