OOC: FYI, I may not be all that available to post this weekend. I had my 2nd COVID vaccine shot today, which means I could be miserable tomorrow, although so far so good. Sunday's a work day for me, and I'm usually worn out when I'm done. But we'll see.

OOC: That's fantastic! Getting the second shot I mean. I have heard a whole schlew of possible side effects but most often tiredness and body aches. Don't worry about posting, just take care and get rest.

*OOC Not sure how often I'll be checking in this weekend. My intention is to remain invisible and hold my action till all Gnolls are clearly engaged in the combat and then make my way to at normal pace back to the Gnoll ritual and investigate what's going on or has been going on in there. I don't know if I should take a stealth check as I'm more relying on my invisibility than creeping movement to get there hoping the combat keeps me out of notice. If a check is asked for I roll 23. Given the space between our starting point and the Gnoll cave this will probably consume my action for a few turns.

OOC: If we had all snuck up a little closer Toots could have casually walked up and cast enthrall, her Spell Save is decent enough that the Gnolls would never have noticed the rest of the party sneaking up behind them until they were dying. I’m not saying that plan was he best or anything, but at least abut we could have at least snuck forward another 100-150 feet so we would have been in position.
If Taslyn wouldn’t have gone with that plan, I can understand not acting against character. But maybe in future, we could at least discuss stuff like this? Now it’ll take at least 3 rounds for anyone without a longbow or heavy crossbow to get close enough to help. I hope Taslyn has enough AC and HP to last while the rest of us are dashing down the road towards them in plain sight like Leroy Jenkins.
*Toots will do her best to sneak up to within at least 120 feet as quickly as possible.* (stealth)-12 (Is it even possible to dash while sneaking?)

OOC: Thanks, I feel very fortunate to have qualified this "early" in the rollout in the US, both for my own sake, and for the people I serve, who are almost all older and many of whom are more vulnerable than I am (I'm not high risk by age, but I am by virtue of several medical conditions). So far just a really sore arm, which is nice, but even if gets worse today, it is definitely worth it.
And yes, unless someone makes the argument that we should quickly plan what to do/let Taslyn take her lumps, Elyona plans to Dash to get within melee range. Once she's in range for a dagger or yklwa throw, she might opt for that, depending on how things are going. If someone does call for cooler heads, she'll definitely listen, as she's a bit annoyed at Taslyn's impetuousness.
Oethe is just going to shoot at long range with disadvantage(Light crossbow is 80/320).
Oethe should do what you think he would do. However, from a purely tactical standpoint you may as well walk up your 30 feet per round. It won’t cost you anything in terms of action economy, and the Gnolls will likely not notice your casual saunter behind Leroy and the Jenkins. Afresh all, Leroy is screaming bloody murder and is within attack range of them, and the Jenkins (myself included) will be closer than you as well making us higher priority targets. I mean, we’re all going that direction anyway.

He will move 25 feet per round, actually(Gnome). You're right.
* Not doing it to be rude, just trying to maintain pace. If this is upsetting, I will refrain in the future. But please try to post once per day or give a headsup =)
*OOC Leeroy and the Jenkins will be observed by Tommary "Sidelines" Sazarac as he makes his was toward the Gnoll "base" along a different vector, defying basic principles of optical science. It's going to take a bit to get there, so he's got something to watch.

Elyona mutters under her breath at Taslyn's rashness, and feels her body preparing to rush forward.

Currently Taslyn is dashing towards the gnolls on her yackle. She is about 180 feet away from them.
The rest of the party is still at 300 feet. However, the gnolls have their attention focused on Taslyn.
I am under the impression that Elyona wants to close as fast as possible. Presuming she moves first she will be at 250 feet.
