I have Two Weapon Attack as a bonus action and carry a light crossbow and a mace. I know the penalty on rolls for using the crossbow but wasn't sure about the mace. I don't see the mace noted anywhere as a light weapon but it's under 5 pounds.

Two-Weapon Fighting requires you to use melee weapons (and they need to be light as Choir said).

If it's not categorized as a light weapon, it's not. Its actual weight has nothing to do with it.
Use two light hammers instead, and you're good to go.

A “light crossbow” doesn’t have the light property and two-weapon fighting only works with melee weapons anyway
