I've often been wondering what the best way to arrange the action sequence. Should I use one per turn only, whether it's drawing a sword or changing weapons to opening a door or attacking? Should maybe I have one main action, say attacking, and a side action, such as drawing your sword? Or maybe two actions per turn, two attacks or attack and open a door? Through your experience, what is the best, my fellow adventurers?
As this is the rules forum, I will give you the rules answer: You get one action, one bonus action, and your movement. As for what you can do for each of those things, I suggest you look through the free rules, which, incidentally, would have answered your original question as well.
