I can't find too much information on a Blast Scepter. Does anyone have more info on it? My DM gave it to me as part of a reward (I got to choose what the reward was). I am looking for a bit more than what is in the D&D Beyond description, which says:
The Blast Scepter can be used as an arcane focus.
Whoever is attuned to the Blast Scepter gains resistance to fire and lightning damage and can, as an action, use it to cast thunderwave as a 4th-level spell (save DC 16) without expending a spell slot.
It doesn't show weight or whether or not thunderwave could be used every turn. Does anyone have real stats for this they could share before I ask my DM?
No weight indicates it weighs so little that it doesn't really matter towards encumberance. Thunderwave can be used on your turns, every round. Basically Thunderwave can be used like a cantrip.

It is a "Rod" All other Rods that have a listed weight, weigh 2 lbs. I would use that.
Thunderwave is a first level spell with an area that makes it hard to use in a multi-person melee fight. The Rod is Very Rare, requires Attunement and makes no mention of any limit, besides stating it is upcast as 4th level, doing 5d8 + push 10ft in a 15 ft cube, Con save DC 16 to 1/2 damage and negate push.
With 1 use/action no other limit, that makes it one of the best Very Rare magic items, but not quite as good as a Legendary. So yeah, I would let that stand.

Resistance means that whoever is attuned to the item, gains resistance to the specified damage types.
Is there any reason this doesn’t show up (the item I mean) when I try to add it to my inventory?

Do you own WDDM on d&d beyond? If not, this item will not show up as an option to add to your inventory.
ok gotcha. thanks.

Not that hard to use in multi person fight
you are at the edge of Cube not at the center of it
What is Wddm?
Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage... I assume - as that's the adventure the item is found in.
